5 years of using for personal taxes gets the 2 start, but blown off this year regarding my business. Dropped documents off as discussed, no work done in nearly a month, no communication about documents needed until I reached out even though I provided all contact info. Very unprofessional in responses to lack of communication. Will NOT recommend or use again. Cost me weeks thinking everything was in order and fine.

Adam and the staff are the best! I used to use a larger accounting firm (and much more expensive) and when I switched to Gillette and Associates, I asked them to review my previous 3-years of returns to get familiar with my account and to my happy surprise, and error was found in my favor with a significant additional refund on my taxes done 1-year prior. Thanks Adam and Team and keep up the great work! You have gained a customer and I have and will continue to refer business to you!!!

They have been doing are taxes for years with no complaints. They are reasonable and punctual. Thanks for the great service

I’ve never had a worse experience with an accountant in my life. My husband and I went to this firm for assistance with our taxes. We were recently married but ended up filing separately so I’d have lower student loan payments since I’m on an income based repayment plan. The accountant knew all of this information at our initial meeting. She stated their fees begin at $150 and can be a little higher based on the amount of work put in. When our taxes were finished our bill was $800! Completely ridiculous. After stating we’d gladly pick up our forms and go elsewhere the owner told her we could pay whatever we felt was fair instead. Then after filing my husband received a letter from the state of Wisconsin stating that the info entered did not match his W2 form. We again contacted the firm and the reply was that since WI is a joint property state they split up our income and witholdings between one another’s taxes and therefor the info would not match his form and that the government computers are not smart enough to handle this...Therefor she’d be happy to write a letter explaining this so that we could send it in, but it’d cost us an additional $125-250 so he can get his full refund. What a con artist. It sounded as though she knew this could happen and didn’t disclose this to us in the beginning. A true professional does not withhold information from clients. Would not recommend this firm to anyone who values ethical or professional standards.

Two years ago I decided after 20+ years of using a regional accounting firm to hire Adam and his team to do both my business and personal tax returns. I’m extremely glad that I made the switch. Adam has been great to work with. Keep up the great work.
