I purchased a car today with the help of Alfonzo and he was great! He was very helpful from start to finish and made sure to answer any questions my husband and I had. He did explain he was fairly new and made sure to ask his manager anytime there was something he was unsure of which I thought was great instead of giving us false information. Chris was great at explaining all necessary paperwork and making sure we understand everything we were signing. He absolutely great at making sure the sales process went smooth sailing. Everything from start to finish was very organized and quick because who likes to sit countless hours at the dealership purchasing a car? I really appreciated both Alfonzo and Chris at this dealership and all of their help. It seems like most of the bad reviews are for the service department so hopefully that can improve for them and this place can get a better overall rating. I know seeing a bad rating can discourage customers from coming in but I'd recommend coming in and giving this place a shot.

Came to this dealership unsure of what I wanted exactly, after talking with Evelin and her help I stopped in. I was set up with David and he took great care of me and my family! David was understanding and empathetic as most sales people are not. This was the easiest car purchase I've ever made. From start to finish the entire team tolerated me throughout the whole process. Nate and Caitlin in service understood my concerns and they were quick to address them with the appropriate action. Chris in the finance department was very pleasant and explained everything perfectly. I would certainly recommend Gillespie to my friends and family.

After many prior dealerships in my life, I have finally found an honest place. The staff at Gillespie not only hunted down a very hard to locate truck for me, but also gave me a great deal, as many other dealerships were marking vehicles $1000s over sticker. Especially during these trying times and shortages of vehicles, Gillespie Ford came out ahead and went above and beyond to get me into the truck I wanted. Great staff and service, we be going back for future vehicle purchases and maintenance.

My experience was great. My salesmen Mike has 30 plus years experience and I could tell by the customer service. He was friendly and also very knowledgeable about the whole process. I had questions about almost everything and Mike was patient and took the time to make sure he answered every question to my satisfaction. The other gentleman who helped Nate was another great experience. Buying a car can be difficult because of all the variables when it comes to financing and trade-ins. It can be confusing, but he walked me through all the math and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. I would definitely recommend that you talk to Mike if you are in the market for a new or used car. You owe it to yourself. The level of customer service he provides is a lost art. 5 stars Mike!

Just ordered my New Maverick so exited great customer service! I have had all my vehicles serviced here for years .Even my Chevrolet Suburban and of course My F150 Raptor. So I needed a fuel sipper for some road trips on a budget test drove one and fell in luv! Update new truck is here and we LOVE it!!

Honest and trustworthy. They give straight talk and are just different from other dealer's you've probably worked with. (And it helps that Ford is making a great product these days). Have bought three cars with them over the past two years. I just won't go anywhere else.

Excellent service. I was assisted by Nick D in finding the right car for me. As a first time purchase of a vehicle, the process was simple and any questions or concerns that I had were addressed thoroughly. I would highly recommend Gillespie to other perspective buyers.

UPDATED: It took multiple phone calls back and forth with the dealership to get this resolved. But my carpet is getting repaired under the warranty. While they did handle the issue and helped, this whole process was a pain to go through. The dealership really does need to step up their communication though. Only people I were able to get a hold of were finance and sales, not the service or aftermarket parts people where I was transferred to. Purchased a truck in 2020. First off they didn’t even detail it when I picked it up. Took 4 times of being the truck back to get it ceramic coated and interior coated. Each time I got a call the vehicle was “done.” The interior coating came with a “warranty” that if any damage occurred it would be covered. I was having issues getting my carpet repaired. A portion was deleted since the dealership did step up and fix the issue.

The service I received at Gillespie Ford was impeccable. Jim and Nick were so knowledgeable and extremely patient with all of my indecision. They are still in contact with me, always available for my questions even after the sale. I'd recommend them to anyone in the market!

I recently purchased a Ford Escape and what a pleasure the whole experience was. It was a no pressure deal that did not take hours to complete. Marco was great. He did not give that hard sales pitch that makes a person feel uncomfortable. He was friendly, informative and did a great job with my purchase. Where do I start ? I’m not a fan of visiting the car dealerships anytime because I have experience in the past wherein I felt like the sales person just wanted to get a sale and be done with it , but this time was different . David Solano(Sales Advisor) was exceptional, did not feel any pressure at all , it was a very smooth and easy dealing with him . The dealership is a bit of a drive, so I tried to get info on a car and they called me, which was nice, but kind of pointless since they didn't follow through or follow up. They sent some pre-loaded stock emails about my inquiry with no actual information, photos, or answers to my questions. Called a few times and got a real person only to be transferred to another person who wasn't there. Had multiple assurances over the phone that photos and information were going to be sent to me, but never received it.

This is my 7th car that I purchased from Gillespie Ford, I would never shop anywhere else. From the start to the finish , everyone was polite knowledgeable, and courteous. I appreciate all that they did for me and my family once again See ya next time !

Thinking of where we’re at with gas prices and electric vehicles, I’ve really been looking forward for the mustang mach E, its truly a phenomenal vehicle Orders have been delayed and they tell us to check the dealerships. This dealership had the exact model I was looking for in-stock. I looked at it on there website and it was listed at MSRP, the same price as my delayed order. I contacted this dealership and they told me that they’re selling it $15,000 over MSRP. I contacted ford directly who told me they should NOT be selling over MSRP. I called back and spoke to a manager, I think his name was Jeff who told me “MSRP means nothing, and I can sell a car for whatever price I want” I clarified to him so you think up charging given all the production problems is ok and he said “Yes”. I love the mustang Mach e and with the help of ford directly I will one day end up loving one. The problem is this dealership who does not value customer service during these tougher times. This is a dealership that I will not buy from or consider in the future. If friends or family ask me I will be completely upfront about this terrible experience

Called to get some prices for a 30,000 mile service on my F150 and was told that someone will call me shortly with the information since the girl that answered in service didn’t have a clue. She took my name and number and it’s been crickets ever since. Thanks, I’ll gladly take my money elsewhere.

In all the times I bought cars it has taken almost an entire day, but at Gillespie I was in and out in 4 hrs and that was because the computers went down. The team there had a good sense of humor as well. Made the buying process easier.

Insane “market adjustments” are just ripping customers off and that is what this dealer does. Stay away. Tried to add a $50k “market adjustment” to an F-150.

Nick did a tremendous job! They delivered a few different Expeditions right to my door. This allowed my family to truly test drive the Expedition to see if it would fit our lifestyle. Due to issues out of Gillespie Ford control, I recently received the truck I have been waiting for, 13 months in the making. Well worth the wait. One thing that surprised me was the constant communication from Chris in finance. He kept in touch with me regarding the build process often, this was very much appreciated. He also streamlined the financing process wich allowed me to navigate the 50 million pages very quickly. Also, Chris in the service department was extremely helpful with the prep and explaining how everything worked. There is so much to learn about, you would think I bought a space ship. We just purchased a brand new bronco here less than a month ago. Haven’t even made the first payment on it. After having the car for only 2 weeks the front rotors have grooves in them and the brake dust have covered the rims completely. The brakes were also very squeaky. After waiting almost 2 weeks for a service apportionment, Ford looked at it and said it just needed new brake pads and to grind the rotors. We said no- we wanted new rotors too only being 2 weeks old when this started- they said they would check with manager- afterwards they said they can only clean the pads and rotors and no service was completed- then the story that the manager shared that had a woman two foot drive and the brakes went bad early- well sorry- I am not the typical woman that he classified me as and I do not drive that way. If we could return the car we would- so they do not care about their customer safety and replacing with brakes that work- so frustrated with their lack of concern of safety and lack of ownership that they do accept their wrong doings. Shame on them. Would highly suggest not to purchase a car from here.

I have been really wanting a Bronco for the longest time. For some reason nobody from around where I live (Missouri) can answer any questions about them or even tell me when they are getting certain ones in. So I started calling dealerships in surrounding states. I came across this dealership and got to speak with Gabby. She was able to answer EVERY question I had (even my ridiculous picky ones) and tell me about each of the ones they don’t have at the moment. I will definitely now be flying to Illinois to buy my Bronco directly from her. LOVED HER CUSTOMER SERVICE. It’s amazing what people can do for you just from one phone call!!

I was called by one of the sales people at Gillespie Ford named Lee. He told me that a Ford Maverick was in stock. He also told me that the MSRP window sticker price was $24,000. I made an almost 2 hour drive into the shop the very next morning only to find that this dealership was marking this truck up an extra $10,000. The truck only retails for $20,000 but yet they wanted to mark it up an extra $10,000. That is price gouging. I have reported this dealer to Ford motor company because that is ridiculous. I will also be reporting them to the state of Illinois for false advertisement sending me the price of the vehicle and then raising the price $10,000.They think nothing of their customers to do a bait and switch like that and have someone drive that far only to try and steal an extra $10,000 from them. They would never get my business. Beware of this dealership and it's unethical practices.

Attempted to inquire and hoped to purchase a vehicle. When I sent in an email about the vehicle I received one back saying it was in stock and available. I immediately called and inquired and was told by the individual that she would get the info and call me back even though she just sent the email containing said info. Then after two hours I still hadn’t heard back so I called to recheck and was spoken to poorly and told its now not available. Instead I was given the run around, not called back when I was told I would be, and the people I spoke with weren’t friendly or professional. I would find a different place to conduct business.

So I called about switching my F150 lightning Reservation, and I asked about reservations being at MSRP. I told in no way would I get my reservation at MSRP. Not going to happen by the Sales person. Why make a reservation if the sales team can just price you out of your reserved vehicle??? Ford is making false promises. You don't have a reservation. You have a raffle ticket to bid on a prize. See below from the owner. Get 20 millions dollars or pay Market Value... have the courage to put your name on that comment. This owner is not endorsing customer service but scalping them because FMC reservation system isn't dealer friendly for maximum profit. I know what MSRP means its a two way street for discounts. Thank for doing your best to ensure you lightning reservation holders suffer for your grievances with the stance of the Ford Motor Company.

I had a great experience from Sales to Service and everything in between. I waited on my review a little till I got the full experience as I had one issue with the vehicle I purchased. All the People I interacted with were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I felt a no pressure sales approach from my Sales Advisor "Ricky". Ricky E. took the time to get to know me a bit and helped me find the perfect fit for what I was looking for within my budget. Ricky E. proved to me he is a genuine man whose words were backed up by action in resolving my issue as he said he would. I really like Ricky E. I feel he is a genuinely nice guy who helped me feel comfortable threw out the sales process and followed threw out service as well, I never felt pressured or rushed. I know it takes a team to be successful and that is what I observed, a team all working together to ensure customer satisfaction. Kristy M. in the service department was so pleasant & delightful to interact with. She kept me informed threw out my service appointment so another pleasant experience. I purchased a used vehicle from this location and the service team addressed a safety issue which took some days to repair which was fine. When I went to pick the vehicle up I noticed something that wasn't an issue before but and issue now. I disclosed this to the sales person that sold me the car before leaving. The service team called and I also informed them. We made the appointment to have it repaired however the left hand didn't talk to the right hand to advise what needed to happen. I worked with Kristy and she went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was taken care of and stayed in contact with me on each step that was being performed. Kristy truly understands the value of relationship building and doing the right thing for your customers. Which is the reason that I give this location 5 stars. I can't get back the time but I am truly grateful that Kristy was there and took the time so see the issue through. Her work ethic is truly valued and appreciated. This is why I would use the service team again in the future because they have someone on their team that values their customers. Kristy is definitely an asset for this company.

My experience at Gillespie Ford was outstanding and has been especially for the past 4 months. I have noticed a significant improvement beginning over the past 4 months or so. Kristy Murphy with the service department, who I always seek out, is always so kind, thorough and always seeks to ensure complete confidence. I know as long as she is there my truck will get taken care of correctly and in a timely manner. If I owned a dealership I would want her at the controls!! Always smiling and treats with total respect!!

I recently visited this location to check out the Bronco in person. Maria was quick to reach out and answer my questions, offered me a hot cup of coffee while I roamed the new & used parking lot and took me out for a test drive. Because I visited other dealerships and had bad experiences, my guard was up, but Maria was pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. Even though I didn't purchase the Bronco, Maria's customer service and follow up gave me a good impression.

Coming off of a deployment I was looking for a car and the only car I was looking to buy was a Bronco. I came here for a oil change & rotation of tires with a car wash when I got my car after the car wash it had a cracked windshield!! Not how it came in I tried to speak to a manager they told me they were not in today on a Saturday ? Busiest day for a car dealership ? No manager ! ?? Very upset how they told me I would get a call back ! Aside to that they were saying they couldn’t of done that as I’m in tears seeing my car like that. Why would I do that to my own car?! They didn’t do anything but said to wait till Monday !!!! I expect this to get replaced and a answer from the management team
