I absolutely loved my experience here! I was a first time buyer, with a ton of anxiety of having to purchase my first car. The staff at this location made me feel apart of their family, and made the buying process not so scary. They explained everything to me and what everything meant. I personally worked with two salesmen, named Quentin and Andre. Both of them worked quickly and efficiently. They both made me car buying experience one to remember. The management here is also amazing. I also had conversations with Anthony, the manager. He is also AMAZING. He helped work with me to get everything I wanted. The facility is very clean and updated. I really enjoyed the snacks provided in the lobby. They came in handy when sitting there!😀 I would definitely recommend buying from this dealership. I would also recommend buying from Andre or BIG Q. They will get you all set up with a car. I am going to only purchase from this dealership from now on.

Gerald Kia Naperville dealership is worth the hour long drive for us. We do have a Kia a few miles from us but we were disgusted with them. Daniel Macias, our sales specialist has excellent customer service skill. He's knowledgeable, easy to talk to and pleasant. He asked and verified answers to make sure he's giving us detailed info on some of our questions. He kept us updated on delivery of our Telly. It came a week earlier than expected and we couldn't be more happier. Martha in Finance was wonderful as well. She has a very positive attitude despite of a very busy Saturday in the dealership. Since this is a high volume dealership, the wait for paperworks processing to get into finance specialist for signing of papers took a few hours. They provide snacks, coffee, tea and water which was great. Maybe next time, say it's going to take a few hours so customers can grab lunch and come back.

I had a great experience at this dealership with Sales Associate Adrian and General Manager Anthony. Any issues that came up, we spoke about it and it was taken care of immediately by them. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sergio Jimenez. He was very professional and I really liked the fact that he wasn’t your ordinary sales person. Not often does one experience such high levels of integrity and honesty in the car service industry but when one does, you should share that experience with as many people as you can. My latest experience with Gerald Kia was one of those experiences. At my penultimate visit with my 2013 Kia Soul, I wanted them to check an odd sound emanating from the steering column. Steve in service told me he'd have to charge me $179 for a diagnostic which would be applied to any repair I would choose to do upon determination. After agreeing, I waited a few hours. Service Steve called explaining the technicians could not replicate the sound despite revising the car thoroughly. He said the car was in good working condition and, in good conscience, he was not going to charge me the diagnostic fee. With previous interactions at other service locations, I would have fully expected them to state some bogus claim of a loose flange or widget having to be replaced. This was not the case in this instance and I felt there was someone and some place I could finally trust. Overall, it was a very positive experience and Gerald Kia has acquired a customer for life.

My buying experience was good despite the car gave some issues initially. About 6 months prior to expiration of the warranty, I kept getting a spam call for buying extended warranty. This was the only car I purchased in the past ~4 years, so Gerald Kia must have given my information to ,multiple warranty vendors. I get calls on my cell and work numbers EVERY DAY.

Wonderful customer service. Went in for buying a new car. From start to finish, Mr.Salva the sales rep was outstanding. I went to the honda dealership down the road and found a car I liked. I then found the same car here with less miles for 5k less. Do with that what you will. Wait time has sucked but I don't suppose that's novel for a dealership. The guy helping me, Q, has been kind, upfront and helpful, if a bit leisurely. Honestly I don't know why they bothered to text me to review them while I'm still in the building, actively frustrated with how long I've been here but hey, to each their own.

Andre was a great salesman, even though the first time I stopped by they had not received the shipment with the vehicle I was waiting for Andre assured me that as soon as it got there they would call me so I can just pick it up. He helped with getting me the deal as promised from the first visit and he did not let us leave until we fully understood how to use our new telluride. They did an excellent job! It was my first time buying a new car and they met and compromised with me on every level to make sure I could get the price range I wanted and the car style I wanted! My salesman Chyma was great, very friendly and personally. He talked to me like a person, not a person buying a car. The car I got wasn't the model I wanted because of the cost. But we worked together and in the end. I believe both sides were happy, (I was totally happy) There were a few issues with the computers going down, but I left with my new car and came back after they were able to get the system back up. (No ones fault) I would buy another vehicle from them and I would definitely, tell my friends to go see Chyma. First, Jessica Johnson was an excellent representative for Kia. She was proactive, communicated clearly, and was very flexible. Regarding service, we would rate Jessica a 10. Frankly, our overall rating of the dealership and now our impression of Kia would be even lower if we hadn't enjoyed working with her and the fact that we simply love the vehicle. We feel Gerald Kia of Naperville is currently gouging its customers simply because it can. We received a $7K dealer markup over MSRP, amounting to about 15% of the total value of the vehicle. We had read stories of such practices online, but were really unprepared for the extent to which a dealership would take advantage of the current chip shortage and low inventory, in particular for a low emission EV hybrid. We budgeted for a more expensive vehicle and anticipated a higher APR due to inflation, necessitating perhaps more down to get a better deal (which we did). What caught us off guard and will result in us looking elsewhere in the next year or two as we look to upgrade our Toyota Prius to a full EV was the dealership policy in a seller's market. They were looking to take advantage of the situation and they did. For that reason and that reason alone, we would never recommend Gerald Kia.

The sales person was very knowledgeable about the Kia Telluride and our expectations were exceeded for the test drive and delivery. The sales manager was rude, insensitive, dismissive, and combative regarding price negotiations. The sales team failed to give adequate notice on delivery of the car and called out of the blue (not even my appointed sales person) to tell us the car was coming in that day. The team was not ready of us at 9am Saturday as I confirmed via phone for a pickup appointment and we were not greeted at 9am waiting until 9:15. We were not offered any hospitability even though we were buying a new car and the attentiveness of the entire process is cold and impersonal. Your team was unapologetic and did not take the time to explain why the markup over invoice was high and worse why the final price was excessively over MSRP. The Gerald Protection Plan is only a markup and is not a value. The sales manager is dismissive if asked about the price for that and the dealership CANNOT even provide ANY documentation around what we got for $750 so it appears we got $50 of lug nut locks that I can buy at retail, $50 of clear door guards and some labor to add our VIN # to an anti-theft database - the Gerald Protection Plan is completely unfair and is nothing more than a markup.

I got a 2022 Kia k5 gtline and I love it! My salesman was Kaemen I believe his name was, he was amazing, nice , and friendly, respectful and funny as well. The process was fast and easy, and he was very patient. Kaemen knew all the answers to my questions as well. On the other side, my finance person was Martha, and she was very pushy. I did not like the fact that she was trying to get my mom co-sign for me to buy more warranty. I like being independent, so I found it disrespectful that she kept asking and asking to have my mom sign for me. NO MEANS NO. That’s the only downside to this, finance was very pushy with that extended warranty.

We liked the car that we were shown, we were ready to purchase the car until there was certain confusion on the specifics. Our experience with Martha was absolutely terrible. She made us feel uncomfortable and offended by her language and manner in conversation. Martha immediately began yelling in our faces, and slapping the table. She was shouting at us with misinformation. Martha and her colleagues were unknowledgable and unprofessional, this team lacked customer service that ultimately cost them a sale. The confusion came regarding the certification and Kia warranty that came with the car.

Very happy with our experience at Kia Naperville. We were looking for a newer car and Abhi really took care of us. We haven't looked for a car since 2014 and really had no idea what was out there. Abhi is honestly so friendly, knowledgeable about cars/features, he is personable, listened well to our needs and was honest every step of the way. We love our new purchase. I highly recommend going into Kia Naperville (ask for Ahbi if you can.) He will provide you with all the info you need and without being pushy. He truly cared every step of the way. We have yet to experience an organized and even remotely simple experience anytime we drop the car off at the service center. Everytime they have tried to upcharge us, complete tasks we did not ask for, yet charge us anyway even though we have told them no. We do not plan to buy a Kia again, the car is completely average, and the servocw is not what is advertised, at all.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. First time taking my vehicle to Gerald Kia of Naperville—my car was throwing a P1326 code & I ended up having it towed to Gerald Kia. Originally was told if my car was towed in, it would be looked at the same day. When the car delivered, I was told it would be 2-3 days before they can even look at it. I received no updates for the entirety of the time my vehicle was in the service shop. If I wanted updates, I’d have to call them myself—my service advisor, Steve, was probably the least helpful person I had the pleasure of speaking with. Finally, my car was able to be diagnosed, & this took several days. I kept being told that the diagnostics had to be submitted to Kia. Or they were waiting on answers from Kia. All while I’ve kept in contact with Kia HQ as well. After all is said & done, they let me know my engine, that is covered under a LIFETIME warranty, was not going to be covered. When I asked why, they proceeded to tell me that my engine had ZERO compression in cylinder 4. The Kia Engine Settlement describes the full short block assembly as being covered under the lifetime warranty. I asked how it was possible for their techs to reach the conclusion of zero compression… it’s not very hard to achieve a result of 0psi with a compression test, if that’s what you’re really trying to do. They told me the engine was not covered & I would be required to pay $8179 for a new engine for my vehicle. I had the car towed back to me the same day. Upon receiving my car I noticed that my engine code had been erased from my vehicle, & my service papers mentioned NOTHING about my 4th cylinder having ZERO compression. The service papers didn’t even have my estimate for the engine replacement they insisted I needed. I called & asked if they had erased my engine code & was told they didn’t know what I was talking about. I was able to drive the vehicle & get the code to come back. I then performed my own compression test—all 4 cylinders had PERFECT compression. I then took my car to another shop and spent the $129 to confirm that my findings were accurate.. they were. All 4 cylinders had great compression. I then called Steve back to ask how it was possible that his tech concluded cylinder 4 had zero compression—his response was very defensive. He talked over me numerous times & sounded very nervous over my confrontation. I then took my vehicle to World Kia in Joliet. It took them ONE day to diagnose & FIX my car under warranty. My car needed a new knock sensor…. That’s it. They performed all the tests they are required to when given a P1326 code. The car passed the rod bearing clearance test with flying colors. The car had GREAT compression. & even better, the car DOESN’T need a new engine. I will absolutely be taking my vehicle to World Kia for service from now on. It seems as though Gerald Kia of Naperville’s service dept likes to try to take advantage of their customers, especially if they are female. Sorry Gerald, you couldn’t trick me. Better luck next time.

What an adventure it was to look for our first family vehicle, and we were about to settle with something we didn't like; that is until we met Mr. Micheal Rivas at this location. The issue was that we went to multiple dealerships around out and the sales reps weren't as professional, knowledgeable, organized,or as enthusiastic to make us happy with our purchase as Micheal was. They are great at getting a sale and will do what is needed to get the sale. I purchased a used 2016 Sedona with 50,000 miles on it and have had the vehicle for 2 months. In these 2 months, I have had nothing but issues with the vehicle. They were able to fix the check engine light which took almost 2 weeks to fix. My rear latch will not engage about 1 a week for over 24 hours saying the door is open. I took it in and because it is inconsistent, it can not be diagnosed. I do not have the ability to drive to Gerald every time the latch decides to not engage because I teach everyday. I work with special education students and consistency is very important. They currently do not have loner vehicles to use while the car is in the shop, hopefully getting diagnosed, if they can get the problem duplicated. I can't keep renting a vehicle in hopes that the issue will be resolved. I have already taken time off because of this issue, however they could not duplicate the issue so it was not addressed. I can make an appointment for weeks on out, however, it does not help my issue now. My car stays on all day because it says the door is open. With 2 small children their safety is my concern. A back door remaining open is not safe. They are very sorry they can't help, however being sorry does not help the problem. I don't know about you, but when I buy a vehicle, I would like the vehicle to not have problems and not be serviced every couple of weeks. If I were you, I would be weary about buying a used vehicle from them unless you don't mind the vehicle being in the shop often. I personally do not. I have bought used cars before (this was my 1st Kia) and have never had trouble like I am having now. I should have trusted my instinct and walked away. Now I am paying the price.

This was a completely different car shopping experience that I’ve ever had. Jessica helped me purchase my new car. She was extremely welcoming, very knowledgeable about the car and Kia in general, also extremely nice and a very fun person to close a deal with!! I will say buying a car is not exactly the most fun for the time it takes.. but I truly did enjoy every minute I was there today. Very clean environment. Every single person that worked with me today was incredibly nice, including the man (forgot his name) that drove me from Naperville to north Aurora ! Paper work was done smoothly with Ibrahim..who again, was incredibly nice ! Overall it’s obvious that this was a really great experience and the customer service was more than I expected. Being a woman buying a car is usually terrible because you get ignored or treated different.. but that was absolutely so far from how this went !! I would 100% recommend anyone that needs a car to come check them out !

My service with Gerald Kia was fast and pain free. After calling and contacting several other places closer to home, I decided to try Gerald. I bought my Kia Seltos there (because of their positive reviews) even though it is far away from my home. I was able to quickly and easily speak to someone in both service and parts. I got the information I needed and was able to make an appointment. None of the other Kia dealerships I called came close to being as helpful as Gerald. I was highly annoyed when they called to ask why my car was there. Although they were fully booked today, Ted took care of my car. All of my questions were answered and I was extremely happy with Ted’s/lovely lady with the beautiful flowers-customer service. If it weren’t for him, I’d still be without a car. We are extremely disappointed with this business. We understand that it is a seller's market and that there is a shortage of inventory. That is why we called around to find the car with the options we wanted. We ended up driving 1H30 to this establishment, even calling saying we were running late due to traffic. We were ready to buy this car that we were told was on the truck and arriving in the next few days. We intended on putting money down that day. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the sales person tried to steer us to another (lesser) car. We were not interested. Then the classic: "Let me talk to my manager," who showed up 40 minutes after we and arrived at the dealership to tell us that the car was sold 20 minutes earlier. It was a complete waste of time. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Before leaving, we asked what they were going to do to make it up to us as we believed what they told us. They offered nothing. We will never do business with this establishment and when ask will tell anyone of our awful experience.

This place must be new or maintained their facility well. Their showroom, service waiting area, bathroom.... are modern/contemporary style. They have Starbucks coffee, yeah I know, water, juice for the kids, snacks etc... very clean. Has free WiFi, phone charging station, little work area and tv area. Very nice and good service.

Do NOT bring your car here for repairs if you are a woman. Brought my car in 3 times in less than 60 days. Each time my car was returned to me in worse condition. Additionally, I was hit on very inappropriately by one of the guys at the service desk. On my third visit I had to drop off and pick up my car around the perpetrator’s work schedule to avoid being harassed. Go Somewhere Else!!!! They do not even deserve one star.

The dealership is wonderful, and their staff is THE best. I bought my first Kia when I lived in Naperville, I moved to Joliet and my needs changed and they got me in to a vehicle more fitting. A few years later I moved again 2 hours away and still went back to them for my third purchase and again they got my wife and I into two new cars. John Smith was able to work with the constraints I put on him and made it happen,... again. I couldn't be happier. John Smith is NOT a salesman... He's just a man who works in sales. A salesman merely works for his employer, it seems that John works with YOU for YOU. And that is a good feeling for sure. There's dozens of dealerships in my area but I traveled over 2 hours just so I can do business with him and his dealership again. I highly recommend taking a look, you will not be disappointed.

The staff is polite that’s why there’s a one star but the cars they tried to sell me we’re complete garbage cars, especially when I took one of their Cars for inspection from my mechanic it was a literal ticking time bomb the brakes and struts/suspension was about to give out. For a company that values their cars for safety this was a major safety concern. In a month or 2 those parts will give out and itll most likely start scrapping on rear end while test driving and the brakes won’t even work there will be an accident with that car someone might die from it but they don’t care. Even when I negotiated they said no so I don’t think I’ll be coming back at all. “We test and check for safety if it’s not we auction it” Yea right

Horrible service department! Came in for a check engine light and over 4 hrs wait after I was told it would take no more than an hr to do a diagnostic without 1 single person telling me what is wrong with the car. Had to go ask myself and was still not told anything anyway. Never again wasting my time in this dealer.

Chris Scott was very helpful initially locating the exact car that we were searching for over email and Jessica Johnson was very nice to deal with throughout the entire process in person. However, when initially reviewing the pricing to place a deposit, the dealership hid a dealer markup in the numbers making it unknown to me until I was with financing. This markup never showed up in the top of line pricing for the car. Had I identified this expense, or it was pointed out to me, I would had felt that the dealership was more forthcoming about the actual price of the car. This was intentional and I think it is shady way of doing business with your customers.

Quick service, staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did everything they could to make the wait comfortable. Snacks and refreshments were offered. Beautiful waiting area and child playroom was nice as well. My kids enjoyed themselves and were kept occupied. Service didn’t take long at all. I felt like I was in and out. Overall had a great experience with Gerald Kia. It was a pleasure dealing w/ Sal & Carlos. Sal was awesome & very informative when it came to showing us the vehicle, while Carlos made the financial process go very smoothly and had pretty much everything ready to go once we got there. My only problem is that the vehicle inventory online is shared with another dealership. I had a vehicle picked out & was about to get everything together to go purchase it, and it was sold by the other kia dealership that the website is shared with without notifying the staff at Kia Naperville. Thankfully, I was still able to get the vehicle I wanted! Besides that bump in the road, I would definitely recommend this dealership!

Happened to be out with my wife and daughter looking for used certified SUV's and when we stumbled upon Kia. My wife went online and seen that they had an Infiniti QX60 in stock but we didn't see it in the parking lot. When she called to inquire about it, we was greeted by Carlos who said that the vehicle was at another Gerald location and he would have it brought over so we can look at it. Upon arrival we was greeted right away by Carlos. He then introduced us to Ahbi to talk about the specs of the vehicle. Well, the one they brought over wasn't the one we wanted to see. That one was at another location which was an hour drive from Naperville. No big deal. My wife then asked to see the Tellurides which of course they agreed to but Carlos asked Ahbi to show us the Sorento as well. When we laid eyes on the 2022 Kia Sorento we fell in love. It was everything in an SUV we was looking for, for our growing family. Plus, when I saw my wife face light up, I knew this was the one for her. Ahbi walked us through the car, inside and out and all the specs. He is really knowledgeable and he answered every question and concern we had. We took the Sorento for a test drive and we was pretty much sold. We also test drove the Telluride but it was slightly above our price range. When we got to the part about buying or not, Ahbi didn't pressure. He was straight forward with us and gave us an break down analysis of the Sorento and Telluride but he didn't push for us to buy the more expansive car. He listen to what we needed and he knew the Sorento will fit us better and a nice size for my wife to drive coming from a Buick Verano. He gave us time to see if we wanted to buy that day or not and when we told him it all came down to price, he sat us down and broke down the financial analysis of all the Sorento SUV's to see what we wanted. Once we settled on which Sorento we wanted, he let us get in it and get a feel, touch stuff, the whole 9 which made us fall in love even more. He took his time with us and was patient. That day we came in to see a used 2019 Infiniti QX60 and left with a 2022 Kia Sorento off the show room being the first owners. The same price we would've paid for a certified used car, we paid for a brand new car. Thank you Gerald Kia of Naperville, Carlos and especially Ahbi for making our car buying experience a great one.

They refuse to sell me a car they have on the lot and available because the store manager, Gino, has already spoken for it! Shouldn’t they take care of customers first? Gino even hid the keys to the car! This is because he doesn’t want to buy it until Friday when he can claim the Illinois tax rebate. Shady people all the way to the top. Don’t do business with them! Oh and look at where he parked the car… **update** the offer to “allow” me to order a vehicle comes with a price tag of $10k over sticker price. You know who didn’t pay 10k over sticker? Gino, the store manager. Their slogan is Gerald Cares, I think it’s more like Gerald doesn’t care…

The vehicle you had seen was a vehicle ordered months ago by our employee and he waited patiently for it to arrive. When someone orders a vehicle employee or outside customer we commit to them that the order is their car. It oil b unfair t a cust for employee to undercut their and sell to a higher bidder I would be more than happy to order a similar vehicle for you and can have it in as quick as eight weeks.

I loved Jessica and her energy! I also loved how quick the process was. Don’t get me wrong, it was still a process like any other car sale, but we just felt like Jessica wanted us to promptly get in and out, which we appreciated. Employees at this dealership are very friendly, I always feel welcome and appreciated even though I’m only bringing my car in for an oil change. They make you as comfortable as possible while you’re there and there is never an excessive wait time for the car to be ready. My Service Advisor is June Delgado, he is EXCELLENT!! Extremely helpful and friendly and doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable if I ask a question or need help with something. In general, this is a really nice place to do business with.

Second time to lease a car from them that should say something. Very straight forward and was easy negotiation. The Sales rep did a great job to finish the sale fast and smooth. The place was clean and nice. Not like other dealers who keeps pushing stuff to buy and keeps nagging. We haven't purchased a new vehicle since late 2018, and boy how things have changed! I wasn't up to speed on all the changes and needed some clarification. Gino helped throughly answer those questions with excellent communication skills. I commend him for having to put up with me. Sergio, the sales member, was excellent as well. Long story short, old car was totaled due to systems failure and I had not anticipated this. I went car shopping to several dealerships outside of Kia and never could find a good deal or a car worth waiting 3+ weeks for. I came across Gerald Kia in Naperville and saw everyone raving over a saleswoman named Jessica. So I figured if there is one good sales associate, there are more and so I decided to walk in. As I come in, I’m greeted by none other than Jessica! She is very enthusiastic and a joy to work with, she is also a straight shooter when it comes to business which I can appreciate! Jessica made sure my needs were met and that I was happy with my purchase, she definitely fights for her customers which is a plus and it isn’t just about another sale, it’s about an experience! After the sale was complete, she ensured I was still happy and makes sure I know that she will be in contact with me a few times afterwards to ensure everything is fine. As I stated before, this place is very lucky to have a sales person such as Jessica, and I’m sure everyone there is just as motivated to emulate her sales approach. When I went there for a test drive back in January, it was very good. The salesman very professional, overall dealership is professional. I wanted to finance a 2022 Kia k5, it should be here in March… but I am scared that I’ll have to need an co-signer due to me being kinda new to credit but ideally I have an excellent credit score. Hopefully I don’t need one, because I want to walk out the dealership with the car!

Do not buy or lease here. Bait and switch at every stage of the process. Smarmy sales associate made my wife extremely uncomfortable. They tout an extension of Kia's warranty as a selling point of buying from this dealership, but nothing is covered in the fine print. Double-dipping on fees, hidden charges, high maintenance prices, and a straight-up predatory staff looking for any way to take advantage. Old-school boys club mentality, and they'll try every tired trope in the car salesman bag of tricks on you. Relentless, pressure-oriented approach. This is exactly why traditional car dealerships are struggling. Read the room, Gerald Kia, NO MEANS NO. (And don't follow this with one of those trite "we're sorry you had a bad experience" responses. No you're not.)

Almost…had me. I was set on getting an EV at a fair price but like many have mentioned in these reviews, prepare to see markups like you’ve never seen before! And they are perfectly fine with it because they know they’ll find others that will pay. Sal seems like a good guy and was able to bring down the markup from $9500 to $5000! They pulled up prices from other websites and still claimed to be more than fair. Incredible. You’d think Putin was running the dealership. If you’re desperate or like to throw money away, go to this dealership.

I was in discussion for purchase with an employee and he was doing the "let me go ask my manager" three times. Finally a 'manager' came over and was extremely condescending to me. She stated "if I wanted a small little car tonight off the lot" she could do that. She was demeaning and came in the gentlemans office like a bat out of hell. I'm not sure if her goal was to embarrass me into purchasing a car by stating my asking price was too low but it sure seemed that way. I told her I didn't want to continue this conversation and left. The gentleman was very friendly and would have made the sale if this woman didn't make me feel like garbage. It's important to educate potential customers. Her sales tactic was the most insane thing I've ever seen.

I was NOT looking forward to the car buying process...especially in today's economy. I stopped in to look at a Telluride and was greeted by Jessica. Although I originally just went in to look at the car and see if I liked it, 48 hours later I was leaving the lot in my new car! Jessica made the process so much easier for me. She was HONEST and extremely professional. My car was transported to them from another Gerald dealership, and the negotiations were all done on Jessica's DAY OFF. This rating is for the service department especially the manager. Today was my first time visiting this particular dealer for a basic oil change. I scheduled my appt and was quoted a specific amount by phone for them to change the oil and cabin filter. When i checked in with my advisor he printed off the service sheet and was charging me $185 what! He said the oil change is $100 I advised him that the appt was specifically scheduled for synthetic blend as that is what my car has always received, fine. He comes back an hr later and tells me that my car can only take full synthetic and that the other kia dealer has been putting the wrong oil in my car 😑 Fyi service people make money off commissions by trying to sell you more and higher cost. I know this because my ex was an advisor so I speak to the service mgr who right away was up for an argument with his rude defensive dismissive attitude and tried telling me the same thing I had to get the GM involved who pulled my manuals out of my car and showed them they were wrong. Not only did the service mgr attitude change but he came back apologizing like a dog with his tail between his legs and my oil change ended up being free for the wait . Men who try getting over on a strong woman will learn the hard way not to mess with me!

This dealership uses very deceptive sales practices. We spent an hour discussing the sales price, msrp 37090. The sales woman Jessica kept assuring us that was the price. Then when she showed us the final numbers as we were about to purchase there was a $7999 dealer mark up fee. I asked what it was and she said it was just that, the dealer mark up on the price! Over 20% mark up. Would have been nice if she had mentioned that at all in the previous hour. Needless to say we left and did not purchase the car.

Why isn't 0 stars an option? We brought our car in again for a bad sensor... 2nd time in 6 months. It was covered under warranty so they picked up our tow no problem and paid for the repair. Then without our permission did an oil change (nope - had NOTHING to do with the sensor issue) when we had just done an oil change a week earlier. THEY MADE US PAY FOR THE OIL CHANGE THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK US IF WE WANTED!! Now 2 days later my oil light is on, my car is burning oil, I have a spot on my driveway, and I'm adding oil to my car. There's a reason my mechanic is the only one I let work on my car. They have solidified not only will I never buy another Kia, but I will never buy from Gerald.

Customer service was good as far as they did what they were suppose to do, but zero thought of customer. We didn’t really have the time to shop around so it was either pay full price or not. Ended up paying $7,000 mark up on a used car that ended up having 4,000 miles and scratches all over the body of the vehicle. We initially couldn’t see these scratches at night. They said there was wiggle room in the markup but then they never offered any price drops they just spec’d it out at full value. Maybe if we were in there alone and during the day but this was at night, dealership was about to close, and we had a hungry baby who just wanted to go home and sleep. Unfortunately, they took full advantage of us and I’ll never shop there again. Customer service would have been understanding our situation, and reading the time of the room and then delivering the best service e possible for reoccurring as well as referral based customers. Instead we definitely got highjacked and paid top dollar because we felt in a rush with baby and obviously we couldn’t see the scratches at night that they clearly knew about to begin with. Also come to find out the interior storage compartment is broken, there are marks on the piano black that can’t be removed. Basically with them knowing all this and then still attempting to charge us the $7,000 markup is ridiculous in itself. Shady and sketchy because they know their own vehicle and they know we have very little time to see it plus it’s not daylight to catch the issues so instead of maybe addressing the issues to us, and they giving us the best offer without us even asking for it, they took full advantage. I would not recommend anyone going here because if you don’t find the problem yourself they will absolutely not tell you. Not to mention they couldn’t get our UVO to work while we were there, told us they would follow up with us about it and then they never did. They have my number, I texted back saying please text my girlfriend since she is the one who bought the car not me and I provided her number and they still haven’t reached out to her. Very obvious that customer service doesn’t really matter to them. Make the sale, make your dilutions profits and then that’s it. If the customer gets screwed because they didn’t find the issues that day then screw them as long as the dealership profits off the people. That is literally the perfect summary of this dealership. I do YouTube with 19k Kia subscribers and look forward to making a video trashing them for this experience.

We stopped in to test drive and look at a Telluride, and the salesman we worked with made it abundantly clear he didn't want to sell us a car. Handing us the keys to the dealership demo Telluride was nice for an unsupervised test drive, but when we asked about the inventory the website displayed, he spent all of 10 seconds reassuring us that he, contrary to the website's listings, didn't have any Tellurides that we could buy. Fair enough, as we're more than happy to take our business elsewhere. After buying 9 Subarus in cash from Gerald, you'd figure a cursory look at your customer's information should be all the encouragement you need to provide outstanding service.

This place is a bit of a clown show. Scheduled an oil change for my Telluride online, received a confirmation and reminders in email and text, showed up at the appointed time 6/14 @ 1100 and they said I didn't have an appointment. Suggested I was at the wrong Gerald Kia. Showed them the reminder text from their automated system, and they appeared baffled. Sounded like I'd be there all day if I stayed, so I left. I have three Kias that I'm very happy with, a '20 Sedona, a '20 Forte and a '22 Telluride (black on black, nightfall--love it) so no complaints about Kia. This dealership seems a little too much of a circus to work with though, so I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere.

I would give 0 star's if I could. I purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage from Gerald kia in Naperville back in 2019. I had a good experience with them at that time, I guess cause I was a first time customer of theirs. Well, I went back there again cause my Sportage got totaled in a car accident. I was going to purchase a New 2022 Kia Niro. I was just waiting to go into finance when the sales guy suddenly took me outside to show me a different Niro. He told me it was the same exact car and it wasn't! It didn't have some of the safety features like the one I test drove. He tried to do a bait and switch with me. He told me that the one I test drove wasn't certified?? My husband called him out and said he was liar. I will never do business with Gerald kia again. Beware. They have you drive one car and try and give you something else that is less expensive for the same payment. I feel like they discriminated me bc I'm a woman. Thank God my husband was there.

For an 18 year old buying his first car, this place was incredible. Had arrived hoping to get put into a 2021 kia forte lxs which wasn't on the lot unfortunately however they took this into consideration and scored me an amazing deal on a 2022 Kia forte Lxs. Brea was the best car salesperson i could have ever asked for as she was very knowledgeable in the cars she showed us and had a wonderful cheery attitude throughout the whole process making it quicker and easier then anyone else my family has visited. On September 19, 2021 my daughter and son-in-law took me to Gerald on New York 1st stop Mr.Sergio Jimenez ask what we wanted took notes and tested 2 cars within in 2 hours I drove out with the I wanted. He explained not only all the features in the car but also every step on the paperwork. I have never have a great experience in buying a car. I will surely have my family go there. I want to start by saying that our salesman was awesome from the very beginning and that both my husband and I believe he deserves a raise and some recognition. We had been to a a different location in Lincolnwood and the manager there made the experience one of the worst customer service interactions we’ve ever had. Considering that we drove about an hour from Chicago to Naperville says a lot. Our salesman name was Ali and while he was a young gentleman, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process. He worked hard for us to get into the vehicle we wanted at the interest that was most appealing. Ali was extremely patient during the entire interaction. The location in general was a very welcoming environment. They offered coffee, water and had a number of complimentary snacks for the customers, all while staying within the COVID regulations. We sat in our own private cubicle well over the mandated 6FT rule from other clients and everything looked clean and tidy. I’d most definitely recommend for anyone to make the drive to Naperville. Customer service is a big thing when you’re looking to dive into such a important commitment like buying a brand new vehicle and Ali definitely made it an amazing experience to say the least. Gerald Kia was put in a tough situation from Kia and came through with flying colors. Due mainly to the pandemic, Dave and the service team are stuck with a lack of parts and frustrated clients, but they handled everything with class. I’ve purchased four Kia vehicles over the years and until this year had no issues with any of them. Our Soul’s engine died and the service department worked had to get Kia to honor their warranty. Thanks to that team and three and a half months of patience we finally have our car back and they have a customer for life.

My wife wanted a Kia Telluride bad. Gerald Kia in Naperville made the experience so quick, easy, and painless. We went to many dealerships trying to track down the color and trim level she wanted. We walked out on all of them for being dishonest or not listening to what we were saying. The only dealership that was honest and forthcoming with information was Gerald Kia in Naperville. Usaid was our Salesman and he was super nice. He answered everything honestly, no beating around the bush and no BS. He was the first salesman out of about 5 different dealerships I felt comfortable talking to. We were in this dealership on 3 different occasions and met with Sales Managers John, Andre, and Carlos when Usaid was with other customers. The sales Managers were just as great to talk with and made the process so easy. It's clear these guys care about their customers and want them to come back for future purchases. Gerald Kia has wonderful staff to work with. The process of buying a car can be both intimidating and long. However, Sergio made it less overwhelming (even though it is still a long process simply due to the volumes of paperwork that needs to be prepared.). He was friendly, worked with us and his manager to get us where we were comfortable and took lots of time to show me all the details of my new car, including pairing my phone before we drove home. This is our first purchase after 2 Kia leases and would recommend them highly.

Would be zero stars if it was an option. Went in to inquire about test driving a Niro on an extended test drive so I can better make an informed decision and was told “no, that is not an option.” Do you WANT to sell a car or not? Answer: no, obviously not. That killed any possibility that I would ever consider that Kia dealer as an option for ANY car. I’ve had no issues with other reputable dealers that actually care about making the potential buyer satisfied with how they are treated BEFORE they purchase a vehicle. And he then had the nerve to say as I was leaving “we will see you back soon.” Not a chance.

I’ve never bought a brand new car. My expertise in car buying is mainly in cash cars and deals on someone’s marketplace, so when I decided to get a brand new car I intended to go to the right dealer and buy a car for the right price. Nothing could have compared to the amazing customer service I received at Gerald Kia. From the initial contact to the final signature I was treated like a VIP. My salesman Quentin was one of the most helpful and friendliest salespersons I had ever encountered and I appreciate him for making my decision to buy my 2021 Kia Seltos a no brainer. On the test drive he was very comforting and gave me a run down of all the features and how to operate some of the newer tech I was unaccustomed to. Q was honest and did his best to get me the best deal but in the end I used my pre-qualification from Capital one as it was the best bang for my buck at the time. I know for a fact that I will visit this dealership just to experience that level of customer service again-in addition to the free car washes of course. Thank you so much Q!
