My friend purchased a vehicle March 3,2022 which turned out to be a disappointment. He submitted a review and I read your response which was far from the truth because I myself attempted to talk with you but unfortunately the call was terminated by your staff as I was only asking for help and understanding concerning the situation. Mr. Mickles was told he had to pay for the vehicle to be towed back to you. All fumds had already been exhausted for a tow to the shop and for parts and labor. He was then told that if you towed it that would be considered a repossession. Keep in mind the car lasted for two weeks and in order to get another car another down payment would be needed.As I tried explaining to the gentleman, he was only asking to swap for another car though it was as is I was hung up on. NO calls were received from you. So the response to the review was inaccurate.

Well, Iām thinking of purchasing a vehicle through this company but I have a hard time trusting them.. Donāt kno why but theyāll lie about how long a car has been on the lot and theyāve asked if Iām okay with the down payment just to tell me thereās no negotiating it. ( unprofessional ) Cars may have mechanical issues upon purchase.

My friend and I have bought 2 cars from this "establishment" if you want to call it that. Both cars have crapped out on us during the winter and leaving us stranded and on top of that. Even after an accident with the first vehicle that wasn't our fault nade us pay for the rest of it. If I could rate this "place" with zero stars I would. I don't recommend this place I'd they won't take care of the cars on the lot.
We are a buy here pay here, we do not do any credit checks, or income verifications. If there was an accident, your insurance company is responsible to cover it. We sell used vehicles, not brand new ones. Normal maintenance is expected. When the weather is very cold, any vehicle may experience issues due to the weather.

They sold me a 2011 chevy equinox knowing this carās engine was blown and the worst part is they have done nothing to try and rectify the situation stop wasting your money here theres better buy here pay here go to Joes Auto or Nationwide this place will not be getting 8k$ for a car that got me stranded the first few days i bought it. And their warranty is a scam too because nobody heard of them!!!!!!!! Im a single mom that spent 2200$ with this place hoping they were reputable because i was in dire need but this was a huge lesson learned and life setback thanks first choice auto finance how am I supposed to get to work now? We apologize for the inconvenience, however upon looking into your account, you were extremely late on payments, and there was no communication. We were unaware of the motor situation until the vehicle had been repossessed due to non payment. If you had communicated with us prior, we could have made the situation a lot easier. All of our vehicles are sold AS IS, and if you had purchased a warranty, this particular vehicle issue would have been covered under the warranty. We do our research on our Warranty Companies before we allow customers to purchase them, and use nothing but the best.

I didn't physically go in and talk to anyone so I cannot speak on customer service. But, their selection of cars is terrible. Everything on the lot was junk with some kinda issue. I highly recommend looking into other lots before coming here. If I didn't have a vehicle I would pay for a lift daily before driving any of this junk. I was looking on the lot for over 30 minutes and not once was I asked if I needed help (not like I did.) But, good car dealers offer to help or show you units, nor this place.
We do apologize for your inconvenience, however, how are you able to make that decision that our vehicles are "junk", if you did not even speak to anyone, or ask for a test drive? Our sales staff are always ready to help you, if you had come to speak with someone. Our dealership is very large, and if you are outside, we aren't always able to see you, and if you did not park in the customer parking spaces.

I bought my Nissan Maxima car there and I'm sorry I did. They didn't even have the decency to tell me it had a rebuilt salvage title. I would never have bought it if I known that. They wouldn't even let me exchange for something else without loosing all the money I put on it. Now I'm stuck with it knowing I could never trade it off after it's paid for, nobody would want it.
We apologize for your inconvenience, however Rebuilt Salvage titled vehicles are dealer rebuilt and inspected, all mechanical, and exterior parts are in working condition and dealer certified. It stated on your contract that is available to you to read before signing, if the vehicle has a Rebuilt Salvage title or not.

I shouldn't even give them a star because this car lot is the worse carlot in Toledo if not one of the worse I got into a accident april 24 2021not my fault lady ran a light hit me driver side now I have full coverage insurance and usually most car lots will give a courtesy car or loaner till your car is fixed! I was told I would get a replacement car since it wasn't my fault! Now I call and ask am I getting my replacement car first they said they give me one and now I called again told me I have to start over I said since when some lady there which she is always rude smart mouth unprofessional she is always rude so everytime I ask to speak to the manager of the car lot she is always rude said he not here so my insurance paid almost 6,000 for my 2013 Kia Rio which was blue book value at 4,500 they gave them a little over 5,000 bottomline is dont give to first choice rude staff and liars

****BUYER BEWARE*** I should have known better based on the location of this lot and the options available. I went against my better judgement in purchase a vehicle from the owner. I provided a large amount of money as a down payment and my taxes. I go my 1st day to make a payment and and I am informed that I owe a $1000 for taxes. When I ask for a supervisor the secretary informed me that there's video footage of the transaction and they will get back to me. I finally gain contact with the owner and conveniently the video footage is no longer available. My check engine light literally kicked on the way home not even a full day of having the vehicle. They are very shady, unprofessional, and combative. Save your money for a more reputable dealership. I WOULDNT TO MY WORSE ENEMY! Edit: This company continues to deflect on the issue that I agreed upon the purchase date that I would pay taxes and down payment on that day. I Discovered that there was an issue that the taxes were due again and they stated they had footage that I agreed not to pay the taxes on the date of purchase but actually 10 days after. When I requested to view the footage they conveniently no longer had it available to view. That's because it did not happen!!!
We apologize for any inconvenience, however, we put price tags in our vehicles to show how much down a vehicle is + tax and title, how much a month, how many miles, ect. Most placed do not even do that for their customers, we do because there is 0% interest. Any time you purchase a vehicle in the state of Ohio, you have to pay the taxes on that vehicle, based on the total price of the vehicle and your county's tax rate. Everything was explained to you when you had come in and purchased the vehicle. It was on your documents that you signed agreeing to. We had provided you with a memorandum title, that shows how much the taxes were on the vehicle that was needed to be paid. All that you had put down on the vehicle, went to the balance of your vehicle. Again, it was explained that the vehicles are down payments plus tax and title, to you.

Despite the negative reviews around the city , Iām here to say Firstā Choice Auto is indeed a great car lot. Iāve never had any serious problems with my vehicle, they also work with you with (COMMUNICATION). Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a vehicle they had a large selection.

Absolutely disgusting business. Save your money. They lack good business model, lack professionalism, and are rude. They take advantage of vulnerable communities for their own financial gain. They are no asset to the community. They over use they sell vehicle with problems to best of their knowledge. In other words their mechanics are incompetent and incapable of identifying major issues and refuse to take accountability. Take your money else where. Save yourself the headche Edit: they state they have no record but I'd gladly give proof that I have a contract with this shady company!

If u need Something cheap, fast, and donāt mind putting more money into it, then this is your place. Drove 4 vehicles, all of them had major mechanical issues. When we informed the salesman he seemed surprised but never offered to have anything looked at or repaired. Cars were all on E actually had to put gas in one. All of the cars have dead batteries and they except u to wait in the cold while they jump them or put in a new battery. It really is A disservice to ask customers to wait around while they find the mechanic and have them replace or jump the battery.
Sorry for the inconvenience you came on a very busy Saturday when we had 4 other test drives at the same time. Our company carries over 300 vehicles in stock every day and with this cold weather, it's almost impossible to keep them all charged and ready for test drives on a daily basis. We make sure any car that is sold gets a brand new battery before it leaves the lot.

Just went and got a GMC today. And I must say this is my second car experience and it was great!!! I feel really satisfied with my service. Even though from the test drive twice to the paperwork and driven off was less then 1 hour. (Paperwork took 15 minutes, 45 minutes of me deciding and test driven) I feel very satisfied with my purchase. The staff made me feel comfortable and they wasted no time finding out what worked best for my family and life and worked with me with no hesitation. Even gave me a great deal on a SUV with a warranty!!!! Low downpayment and payments!!! My family and I are truly blessed and we thank First Choice Auto for a great experience!!!! I'm a truly happy customer!! And I recommend them if you want to bypass all the Tax Time Car Buying BS!!!

I will give 3 stars. I paid cash for an 07 Jetta last year May 9th. Still have the car but I got to be honest for all the work Ive had done they could of just sold me this car for less. Ive done nothing but spend lots of money, could of just got another car. Good news I still got the car and bad news still spending alots in repairs. So yeah to be fair I had the car a year made it through winter just alot of costly repairs other than that.
We appreciate your business, however, it was sold as an used vehicle, one that was 13 years old at the time of purchase, so normal wear and tear at that point is going to be common on any used vehicle. We would love to see you come back and upgrade to a newer vehicle with us!! Thank you!

I called these guys on Wednesday Nov 25 asking what all needed to be done to be able to drive off of the lot with a vehicle that day, they said i needed down payment and tax and title fee and needed insurance so i asked if i were to get insurance on a certain vehicle is on Friday the 27th if it would be there for me to pick up the guy said yes it would be this guys name was Sam, well when my fiance and i got there to purchase this vehicle on Friday the vehicle had already been sold after i emailed them the proof of insurance and everything and they sold it right out from under us thankfully it only costed 30 dollars to start the insurance that i now i had to cancel because they sold the car right out from under our noses when Sam said the car would be there for us to purchase, would defiantly not recommend going to these people ever!!!! Most horrible experience going to a buy here pay here!!! Never again will my fiance or I be back to do business with these people!!

Horrible place horrible experience and the professionalism wasnāt there. I went to see the black impala and was dismissed because I pointed out a cracked front end. The guy told me he couldnāt help because I was picking already but how all of your newer body impalas are priced the same and have damage???? NEVER AGAIN EVERYTHING I HEARD ABOUT THIS PLACE IS TRUEšš½ I was in a car from a lot just helping a friend and fair use fair so I understand wear and tear but not a cracked front end of a care thatās $16,000
Sorry you feel this way. Most of our vehicles are over ten years old, they may have slight wear and tear, nothing major. If you want something like new we recommend you to look for vehicles with zero miles at brand new car dealers.

If you're looking to purchase a quality, fair priced used vehicle, then I recommend you go to First Choice Auto. This past Saturday I purchased my third vehicle (2013 Ford Focus) from them within the past 3 years. They have worked with me each and every time, with the down payment, a late payment, and helped me to pick which vehicle is best for my needs. They are friendly and very helpful! Not your typical used car dealership, their staff goes above and beyond to get your business and keep your business! Don't believe all the mumbo jumbo rumors these in house financing dealers have to deal with, if you do your homework and check out the vehicle before you purchase it, Im sure you'll be a happy satisfied customer. Donāt ever buy from here there payments are way to high they donāt service there cars and if your car breaks they wonāt fix it and if you get behind they donāt care. They will come get ur car and then tell you, you have to pay off the whole car to get your car back! Oh and they stold my Apple Watch and my sons medication as well

March 3, 2022 I was treated with the utmost respect while purchasing my car. I receive a monthly income and put down 700.00 on a vehicle not to mention 164.00 for insurance. March 12,2022 I the brakes began to go out and I I had to get several jump starts. March 24,2022 it would not start not even with a jump so it was parked until April 1,2022 I paid 65.00 to have it towed to my mechanic and after several attempts it started . For the brakes pads and rotors I had to pay 107.74 and 70.00 for labor. Upon leaving it kept cutting off on me. After being put on a lift it a pipe had to be replaced and was told my catalytic converter was going out and it was detected that the car had been sitting in both mud and water for a period of time. I was then informed the car is no good. Another 20.00 for a ride home.First thing April 2, 2022 I did telephone the store to NOT to ask for a refund but for a trade in and was told that I could not and would have to put another down payment down for another vehicle. That pleasent energy I received when purchasing the car was gone. I refused to pay for another tow to the store so I was informed it would be repoed. I couldn't understand why so I gave my friend the phone to help me understand. She did say we don't have another down payment and would just like to trade it. She was hung up on. I'm 72 and receive a monthly income and can't afford what I just paid out. I understand no warranty but it was less than 30 days
First of all we asked you to get the vehicle back to us instead you threw a fit screaming and yelling at office staff and then abandoned it on the side of the road telling us to pick it up. We called the number on file back several times to tell you the issue has been resolved and no one ever called us back. If you would have been patient the issue would have been attended to but we will not tolerate the yelling and name calling.

Donāt do it! Extremely rude people who work here, they wake up miserable every morning. The car broke down approximately 3 days later, then they lied about pricing. Thought I would give them another chance but I regret it. *Update* After my car was taken for being 3days late, even tho I called to let them know I was gonna be late; the main lady called me cussing at me and being rude talking about did you request a refund Through the bank and then she said I have to bring in the full amount to pay off the car or itās getting put back on the lot ( what a joke)..at the End of the day donāt let this raggedy car dealership sale you a lemon that youāll have to repair a few days later then theyāll take your vehicle back after you fix it! Shame shame shame

They RIP people off by advertising $300 or $400 a month and then you tell them you get paid every two weeks and they charge you more than monthly payment because they say more weeks in a month equal more than the advertised $300 a month!! Scam artist that resets the check engine light so you dont notice on the test drive and once you sign contract they refuse to help!!

We purchased a vehicle on the 7th of april. Put 3800.00 down. We had the vehicle for maybe 3 hours when transmission went out. Toik it back and dealer was going to fix it. On the 10th my husband had a massive heart attack and passed ob the 13th. I never got the car back until the 30th. I informed the dealer i was unable to keep the vehicle on my own. Now mind you in a month we had the vehicle for only 4 days. When i took it back he refused to return even partial down payment. I needed the money to help with his funeral and bills. He refused. Won't recommend them to ANYONE.
We are so very sorry for your loss. We did replace your transmission for you for no cost, even though as stated the vehicles are sold as is. We also state in our contract that there are NO returns, refunds, or exchanges, which you had signed agreeing to.

Absolutely the worst customer service in the business. Bought a truck from here less than a week ago. The process was okay to begin, but the girl who handled our paperwork, Alexis, was clearly not ready to be with customers. Not only was she absolutely unprofessional, but she messed up some of the documentation and kept making comments that she hoped her boss wouldn't see. Not a good look for a company! 5 days after we purchased the vehicle, the drivers side headlight is no longer working. Already having electrical issues, good thing we paid extra for their warranty program. Then comes the issues with insurance. Before we left, we were not informed we had a time frame to submit insurance information. Alexis reached out to me 4 days after purchase stating she needed it by end of day. I sent a copy of the ID cards showing insurance and we did not hear anything again until Monday morning when she replied stating that wasn't enough. She said she needed specific information and I replied sending her exactly what she asked for and she thanked me saying it was exactly what was needed. Fast forward 20 minutes and she's emailing again saying it doesn't work and I need to send more. Then she calls me and gets snotty saying no more email communication and proceeded to go off telling me that she needs this information and when I got mad at told her I am at work she then hung up on me. My fiance called back and spoke with Ahmed who then screamed at my fiance and told him that they need the declaration page. We told him we'd just have my ins company deal with them here on out because they're so disrespectful, but then as my fiance was informing Ahmed of the electrical issue Ahmed hung up on him. We had to call back again and speak to someone else to get the information we needed regarding the warranty. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Car is having all kind of issues in the first 3 days but when I test drive it none of this is happening so they have to be doing something to make them drive good for the moment. They wonāt exchange it out or help me in no type of way. Iām a single mother barely making it I donāt have hundreds of dollars to give away. We apologize for the inconvenience, however, we sell used vehicles, and with any used vehicle, you could experience some normal issues with a vehicle that isn't brand new. We do not do anything to our vehicles to make them "drive good for the moment". All of our vehicles are serviced before placing them up for purchase. We do offer a Warranty that you can purchase at the time of sale as well.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Purchased a vehicle back in July with a warranty that I purchased a week later. Went out of state 2 weeks later and while there the ENTIRE brake line rusted out underneath the car and we had absolutely no brakes. Thank goodness we weren't driving with all 3 kids is on the highway when it happened. Paid to have it fixed ourselves because they wanted us to come in physically and sign the paperwork, which we couldn't 500 miles away. Got back and signed the warranty at which point they told us we were over our mileage to be covered. We were only told it was a 90 day warranty, no mileage limit. So we bought another one. 2 weeks later the entire TRANSMISSION went out. Had it towed to a shop and had them call the warranty company who had NO RECORD of our warranty. Called the dealership and they apparently had FORGOTTEN to send in our warranty. So then when the auto shop called again, we were told it wouldn't be covered because it was a preexisting condition. The dealership told me nothing is covered under warranty until you've had it for 30 days. So a 90 day warranty only covers the last 60 days apparently. So now I have to pay 3500$ to replace the transmission when I've owned the car LESS THAN 3 MONTHS and still owe them 5000$!!! The owner refuses to talk to me and the receptionist has not only hung up on me, but also told me that there's nothing they will do except allow me to forfeit the vehicle if I pay to have it towed back to them, 45 miles away, and give up everything I've already paid, over $500 in warranties and $3000 in payments. They also tried to lie and say it wouldn't go on my credit which it will. Unbelievable that these scammers can stay open and continue to do this to customers! They even called me today to ask me for my monthly payment like they forgot they were already screwing me over! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DO NOT EVEN STEP FOOT IN THIS JUNKYARD. -To the comment left by the owner: The customer is my husband and I am the only one that has ever spoken to you. I am speaking all the truth. I actually have all our calls recorded, so are you sure you don't want to admit to apologizing for NOT turning in my warranty two weeks prior? And again when you admitted that you didn't inform me all warranties take 30 days before you can file a claim? My payments were all made on time until this month because this all happened right before my payment was due why would I pay you more for a car that doesn't drive? And yes I did leave the vehicle at the shop because I am not paying another dime to have it towed back to you. You still did not deny selling us a car with a bad transmission. We didn't ruin an entire transmission in 3 months but your comment proves you don't take responsibility for any of it.
Unfortunately, you have not stated the truth here. All of our vehicles are sold as-is to the best of our knowledge. Our customer did not express any concerns until well after the 3,500 mile trip taken and then after purchasing a new warranty. Our Customer test drove and specifically chose this vehicle. You are not our customer. The vehicle was purchased in mid-June. Our Customer allowed You to be dishonest to staff and stated there were no issues with the vehicle other than a minor brake problem; which we told you would not be covered, and intentions were for future protection against issues. You then did not pay for the vehicle from the shop and abandoned it there. Payment has always been late on your account for weeks. All terms and conditions for the warranties are explained the day that our customer purchased the vehicle and again when you wanted to renew. As you wanted we submitted the contract for the warranty and they decided to reject your coverage; due to the information given to them by you; stated in the letter sent to First Choice.

Charge way to much.sales tax and things of such should be included in sale. They sell junk vehicles. My daughter bought a car from there and the power steering line broke. Looked up under the car and it was pieced together. And she hasn't driven it since. And if course it was only a 30 day warranty.. How convenient Not separate
Sorry that you feel this way but anywhere you go to purchase a vehicle you must pay sales tax and title on the total purchase price of the vehicle. It all depends on the sales tax for your county. We even have a sales tax calculator right on our website when you open up the details for each vehicle so everyone knows right away what is required.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Was already leary after someone I knew had a bad experience. She bought a vehicle with warranty, had problems the same day. Called and was told her warranty coverage didn't start for 3 days. Decided, however, to give them a chance. Bought a truck and were treated as "Give me your money, sign here, get out." Truck barely made it home. Have had nothing but problems with it. Close to $1000 in new parts to make it driveable. Have made complaints to the staff, only to be told we should have bought the warranty. Probably would have if they actually would have offered it. The only other choice they offered us was to sign it over and start fresh. Will never buy from them again.
Sorry you feel that way. We do not run credit checks, and we do in house financing. This is what instance approval with a down payment is. As soon as we found out you were having issues was over 30 days since you purchased the vehicle. We offered to do the labor for free and you refused. All vehicles are sold as-is but we did try to help you. After us talking about it, you decided to sign off.

Never was told that if your insurance lapse that your car would be repossessed especially around ātax season ā mind you the lapse in coverage was only seven days! I do believe they count on people not paying so the money you have already paid they got, the issues you have fixed a plus so they will re- sale your vehicle..... itās all a game an they count on Black People with credit issues to make their living off of... Be smart ask all the questions you need and if it donāt sound right itās probably not.
First and foremost this has nothing to do with race or color. Our contract clearly states insurance must be maintained throughout the course of the loan, so it doesn't matter that it ONLY lapsed for seven days, and also your payment was 13 days late. We made several attempts to get ahold of you to resolve this matter however your phone number was disconnected.

This past month I purchased my third vehicle from First Choice Auto, I am very pleased with my new car as always. The customer service is fantastic, and no matter how busy they are I always feel like priority! The handling of paperwork was quick and easy, very organized and prompt. I would have to say I appreciate all the paitence they have with me Everytime I go, I like to try everything. And very willing to help with financial issues as well. I especially really appreciate the lady who took care of finalizing the sale. She not only was quick but treated us like family. If I could recommend any dealership, this one is it. DO NOT GET A CAR FROM THEM. I had my car for 3 months never missed a payment was actually ALWAYS a day early, my insurance was in a friend's name and she missed the payment. First Choice sent 5 men in a regular unmark TRAIL BLAZER.. (no tow truck) with no uniforms AND NO PAPERWORK. Jumped in my car with THEIR key and tried to pull out my driveway. over the phone they told us all we had to do was show proof of insurance. Once we got there they changed the whole story wanted me to pay $375 to get it back. Very unprofessional. They will lie and tell you they don't have a key but they do. They will pretty much do anything to get your car back once you've already paid for.
We attempted to reach you multiple times regarding your past due payments and canceled insurance. After no response, our hands were tied. We had to order a key from the dealer for the repo men and pick up the vehicle. We gave you the opportunity to send the proof of insurance and payments in to avoid the repossession. As you did not we were forced to take further action.

Your salesman DID NOT GATHER ANY INFO FROM US didnt make sure we had a license, didnt get our names, or phone numbers. so your claim to us being called is FALSE and we were NOT gone for 3 hours!! not to mention the first car that was purchased from here was a 2009 Toyota Corolla (grey) which had MAJOR TRANSMISSION problems funny how that car is STILL on the lot after we had it repossessed by you because the car was a complete LEMON and I doubt the issues have been fixed. NO ONE EVER tried to contact us about the SUV we test drove. NO ONE. NOR WAS A TIME SPECIFIED. dont worry we will NOT be back or refer to you anyone else..
