This place is an excellent place to purchase a car, great customer service and the salesman took the time to work with you. I been to other places to look but none of them top what you get here. I bought my car two years ago, the only maintenance I have done is oil change, well tires and it’s a great vehicle I love it fits my every need. Very affordable! I really had faith in Nationwide when I came to them and they let me down so bad it wasn't even funny. And the way they took my car AFTER I CALLED AND BEEN CALLING letting them know my situation and they told me I had time just to take my car while I was out working! Literally on the clock. Then, when I give them the keys back, they ask if I want the car back..."we will work with you" is what she said. Well if you was really going to "work" with me, then you would of never took the car the way you did. I wasn't dodging you, and I stayed in contact. Life is already hard and this happened me. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Run!!! The took advantage of my mother who is on disability. Sold her a vehicle that only made it to her house then broke down. They have refused to fix it or do anything to help the situation. They claimed she missed 2 appointments to bring it in when in fact it was only 1 appointment and she called to see if she could bring it in later due to not feeling safe driving it herself and needing someone else to bring it. This place is a joke. Every single car we test drove had serious problems and the salesman we dealt with kept trying to push these vehicles on her. Her vehicle is still sitting and yet she is still required to pay on a vehicle that she ain’t driving. What a waste of $3100 yea that’s what I said. We put down $3100 on a vehicle that keeps stalling and unable to drive. Can’t even use the warranty till after 30 days. We are talking to a lawyer now. Again this place is a rip off. They only care about making themselves money. Nothing more
Hello Ms Edwards, we are very to hear about your expressed frustration about this situation but let me assure you we did our absolute best to look at the problem that was being addressed on the vehicle you purchased, first off we only show vehicles that fits in the customers down payment and payment budget, the vehicle that ms Edwards wanted to look at are way out of budget and not feasible, next when you made your initial complaint we scheduled you a appointment the day after and failed to show up after our mechanic held the shop bay open for four hours, nonetheless we did receive another phone call about scheduling another appointment and we did, the day of after we held the bay open for another few hours and yet we cam up with another solution for you, Al the manager did state that due to this time of year we are extremely busy and could not schedule another appointment for a 3rd time but did offer to pay for your deductible on your warranty, and the warranty is active with day 1 coverage, there is no 30 day wait policy, we hope this sheds light on this unfortunate situation but we did try to come up with a satisfactory solution 3 times, and gave you options most used car dealers would fail to do so. I spent a few hours with Justin (the finance manager) looking for a car. I told him exactly what I was looking for and what price point I wanted to stay around. He gave me more than a dozen cars to choose from, which was impressive with the restrictions I came in with. He was very patient with me as I test drove over a half dozen cars, trying to find one that was the right fit. I found a car and from that point was signed and driving in what seemed like no time at all. Everyone there was polite, professional and personable. I have driven the car for over a week now, I wanted to wait at least a week for any hidden surprises...you know how used car companies typically are. However, there were none. Car has been running great, no hidden check engine lights or any other unseemly surprises. I'm very satisfied, and will recommend Nationwide Auto Finance if anyone I know is looking for a vehicle. Bery good place to buy a vehicle if your in a tighter situation.. Victoria is one of the secretary's at the front desk , she has worked with me alot and is a very kind and understanding person. The buisness itself is extremely punctual after the 10 day grace period ... So if you can't pay longer than 10 days after your due date be sure to explain your circumstance and when you can pay or you vehicle will be towed immediately without any type of notice.. Which you will dign paperwork stating this is allowed when you finance/buy .

I bought a 2012 equinox from then that had 125 thousand miles on it. One year later, it needs a head gasket. I will never buy another vehicle from them unless they change their warranty. They advertise the best warranty, but there are other used car places In Toledo that give a 4-year 60 thousand mile warranty.
Hello Mr Howard we are very sorry to hear about your situation, its impossible to predict a head gasket going out a year later let alone a month later, head gaskets blow after the engine overheats multiple times and could have been prevented by being serviced to fix the initial potential problem that caused the head gasket to go out, again its unfortunate it happened but something that could have not been foreseen a year down the road, we do offer extended warranties upto 60 months but the pricing on said warranties are in the thousands and have to be worked out at the time of sale, sometimes payment restrictions do not allow us to extend a warranty that far as it increases the payment dramatically, if it was a serious concern at time of sale our staff would have addressed that concern right away and see if we could have made it happen for you, we hope this response shed lights on your situation and we due understand your frustration but I hop you understand some things are out of our control, take care and have a Blessed year - Management

I've have bought 2 Chevys from nationwide in the past 5 years and never had any problems with the cars other than normal wear and tear. Both vehicles run great. Anytime I've been in the office the ladies are always nice and friendly and take care of me and on my way. When picking out a vehicle the guys outside do a great job getting the cars out for test drive. Great customer service. I will continue telling friends and family to check them out. I would have given zero stars if I could. Bought a dodge journey from there. As I spoke to salesman I clearly stated I had never purchased a car before in my life. Everything I was told wrong they told me the wrong date of when first payment was due. First month they repoed my car got it back immediately. Second month had a big family emergency out of state. Sent my payment online. Started they did not receive it. Showed my proof. Salesmen showed up to my house calling me a liar and everything else. They said ok we will get this figured out. The very next day had 3 of their salesman run up on my son and I. They physically pulled me from the vehicle with my son there and took the car. I am currently working with police for assault charges. Should have never made the mistake of going here.
Hello Mr. Lohmeyer, without going into detail, during our sales process we address first payments several times on several paperwork as compared to other dealers who just make you sign 1 doc. (RIC), we make you sign a payment reminder sheet, RIC, and your down payment receipt that says next payment, sent via email and printed and given to you in person and verbally told by Admin staff as well. We did tell you to show us proof of payment online, via bank statement or anything but you failed to do so. Now the manager did take possession of the vehicle but in no way shape or form physically touched you or your adult-aged son or removed you as that is against the law, and you did not call the local authorities because you know no such thing happened, I'm sorry about this whole ordeal happened but we try our absolute best to avoid such a situation by calling, texting and constantly reminding our customers of their upcoming payments. Sorry about any inconvenience we have caused, take care and have a blessed day. -Management

Drove 1hr 40min based on Mo telling me how super clean the 2012 F250 was. Offered very fair cash price over phone. He assured me I wouldn't be disappointed. Pictures looked great. That is where it ended. The backyard auto body work was horrible. Rust bucket with a band aid. O2 sensors missing and patched over from exhaust. Tires NOT very good as I was told. Air cleaner had km markings on it but miles listed in miles rather than kilometers. Not sure they were accurately represented as miles. I never even test drove the truck. Nothing like the description. Just want to get you in the door. Don't care about wasting half your day and half a day payroll for my employee to drive there and back with me. Cost me time and money due to the lies. Proceed with caution if you are going to look at something. Make sure you thoroughly look over the vehicle. Do not trust their word. Edited: Lying about my character to cover the fact I was lied to about the condition of the truck sums this up well. Minor imperfections do not include bondo falling off the truck. I was assured it was a clean truck. It was nowhere close to what I was told over the phone. Again: buyer beware. If you leave a review, then anticipate more lies to discredit your character.
Mr. Philip your salesman Mo gave you a price at trade in market value, not retail pricing, it’s a great truck for the money, unfortunately all vehicles in Ohio being nine years old I have surface rust under the vehicle but there was no rust on the wheel wells like he told you over the phone, The paint has no haze but only slight imperfections, We do not go to the extent of feeling every body panel on every vehicle on the lot by hand as you did, but we do take high angle pictures so that you could judge the condition of the body work and paint yourself, Unfortunately it’s hard for our sales staff to remember 300 vehicle’s and their exact conditions. We even go to the extent of posting a Carfax on every used vehicle we offer so that you could view accident histories and maintenance records, we do have our mechanics look at any major to moderate components per before we offer the vehicle for sale, but these vehicles are not “certified” we do not conduct 160 point inspection as they are close to a decade old. we thrive to be as transparent as possible. I understand your frustration but for for you to respond with vulgar words to our porter was completely uncalled for. Anyways, best of luck In your truck search and have a blessed year! Edit: Dear Mr Phillip you was not lied to by any means, you did not ask us to look at the paint and air filter and other components as you listed, we simply gave you a summary of the overall condition of the truck, there is no bondo falling off the truck and I wish we can add photos to this review to add light to our response, but by any means we would not try to discredit your character, but you were unapologetically rude towards our staff and it was completely uncalled for, sorry we waisted your time and again have a blessed year. - Management

Just got a jeep Cherokee from here, and let me say how glad I am that we chose to come here! We came in after calling, there was a bit of miscommunication somewhere about prices and whatnot, but Mo sat down and worked with us, went thru their inventory and showed us 3 different vehicles within our budget. We ended up getting the jeep. Next day my husband took it in for a thorough inspection and was disheartened to hear about some pretty expensive repairs needing done to the vehicle. We realized it's used, but these repairs are pretty urgently needed. He called Mo up and Mo assured him he'd work with him, just bring in receipts/quotes. Honestly my husband was all riled up and ready for a long hard fight, but Mo and Al patient, friendly and understanding. They worked with us and helped us by bring down the price, which will allow us to get the vehicle repaired and even suggested a mechanic they know that will save us even more money. They took care of us, and more so they were happy to do so! We appreciate their willingness to help us out. Thanks guys! We will be back in the future, and we will pass along the word about the great business you do!

ABSOLUTELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER !! This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Nationwide, a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer that seats 7. I did my research and due diligence before my first purchase and found Nationwide to have the best selection. warranties and pricing of those surrounding their business. I believe I put just $500 down on my 04 Taurus...and had low payments of around $160 a month and paid it off in less than 2 years. The cool thing is their loans are structured to be paid off in two years, which makes it less stressful when knowing you will own the car in a minimum amount of time. They also offer many options for the purchase, real loans, buy here pay here, cash outright. The best part for me was all the options, you basically can get your dream car. Yes, they have miles but engines these days are running 300k so why would you pay 10 times the amount for a new ride?! On a personal level regarding my relationship with Nationwide, I have had some setbacks over the years...lost job, newborns, medical stuff, etc. I was upfront and forthright with them and they worked with me through all these issues. I was very thankful for that as they understood the importance of having a car to be able to make ends meet. When I encountered a couple minor issues with the cars, NO PROBLEM said Al...one of the owners...just get me the receipts and well take it off your loan. They also offer different ways to take some cash off your loan ...just ask. If your reading this and it sounds to good to be true...its not. This is actually my experience! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND NATIONWIDE AUTO FINANCE!

Honestly, I can't say anything bad about Nationwide Auto. The staff is very friendly, and they absolutely know what they are doing. I went here to get a car when I was in a jam, I found a wonderful car from 2005 residing here and all I needed to do was give her a bath, and she's been my baby ever since. Nationwide will not turn you down over credit, job history or the like. I don't have good credit at all and still got the car I wanted. They are extremely understanding about financing, they will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy. Their plans are great, payment options are extremely fair, and I've never had a problem in the last two years of my financing. Honestly, I'll probably be back once I decide on another vehicle. They are hassle free, good hardworking people. Highly recommended!

This place wasn't my first choice to look for a vehicle. But after going there, they have a great inventory of SUVs that I desired. The Salesman I dealt with was very helpful and actually let me test drive the vehicle I was interested in. Unlike a previous dealership I went to! All together horrible experience! After waiting over 20 minute, being lied to at least 3 times, I finally find out the keys to the vehicle I had desired to see were locked inside of it. The car salesman who lied to me was also unprofessional and avoided doing his job.

Drove 2 hours one way excited because they had the exact car I was looking for. Ford fusion awd v6. Not a ton of miles either. Pictures showed the car in great condition. When I saw the car in person I now see why some of the pictures had bad lighting. There were all kinds of chips and dents and scratches on the paint. The passenger seat mirror was missing and the passenger side mirror frame was barely hanging on the car. The inside smelled like smoke. It drove ok but the dashboard indicated there was an awd issue. Could have been a sensor issue but I still wasn't impressed. All this was tolerable even though none of this was mentioned in the detail section. And it probably wasn't well managed. The real problem is they wanted 10k for the car. No way was I going to pay 10k. I would pay 5k at best. I mentioned this to the sales manager and he acted like he had no knowledge about any of it. 1 month since my visit and that car still hasn't sold.Sure they have a ton of cars and people may generally have quality cars and good experiences, but this was mine. If I had to I would consider visiting them in the future, but they would be way down on my list.
Im very sorry Mr. or Ms. Eli Sills we do our best to take as many pictures as we can of the vehicles but we are at the mercy of natures lighting as the vehicles are being pictured in the outside elements. Regarding the mirrors, they where on order and have not received them with all that's going on in the logistics industry. Then again these are no excuses but with these ever changing times with staff shortages and parts shortages, have all put a toll on our business and we are doing out absolute best to manage. As far as us listing it and selling the vehicle for $5,000 that's near impossible as we have a few thousand dollars more then that in it, we appreciate the offer but we at the time respectfully declined. Used vehicle prices are up near 25% as compared to previous years due to the chip shortage and new car dealers eating up most the used inventory on the market. we hope this sheds some light on the situation, and we hope you may consider doing business with us in the future, sincerely management

They sold me junk with numerous problems and stated they can't or won't do anything to make me whole. Their deception and intention is to screw you out of your money will never return to the establishment again and I advise anyone in their right mind to avoid this dealership at all costs.
Hello Mr. Bill Wayne, im sorry to hear that your having issues with your vehicle, but on your vehicle both problems you mentioned over the phone during your complaint where listed clearly on the windshield with paint marker (was written pretty big) and the problems where listed on the website as well, the vehicle is a cash car and we always tell out customers that these vehicles need work and you need to get them inspected during your test drive because we do not professionally check the cash cars, but Mr. Wayne you went to the extent of thoroughly looking under the car in the engine compartment, the problems you stated where not hidden by all means, we did our absolute best to make you aware of said problems, we did give you a solution for this issue, we are just awaiting to hear back from you, sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you, sincerely management

I bought a 2010 Mazda 3 in February don't get me wrong not a bad car but after driving it a while found out my rotors are JB welded to the studs had to buy whole new front end basically from strut towers to knuckles and rotors so I had to put about $500 into front end but not bad car just wish u guys would have been honest with me and told me what was wrong with it. Plus now looking I would have hoped u guys after this long to report my payments to the credit bureau but still only says u guys did an inquiry.
Hello Lisa, we are very sorry to hear about the issues your having, we do our absolute best to go through our retail ready vehicles, we inspect all major to moderate components, in your case I do not know how JB weld got on any of your motor vehicle components, we absolutely do not use such things to patch problems, we rather fix any problems that we notice right away so that our paying customers do not have to go through such a ordeal and still make payments on their vehicle, its not in our best interest to do so. Unfortunately we do not report not the credit bureaus good or bad payments with our buy here pay here program. I am a happy customer. I just recently paid off my truck I got from Nationwide. First off Mo was very helpful. He wasnt a high pressure salesmen. Very laid back and answered all my questions. All the ladies working the front desk are all super nice. They remembered not only my name and face but also my daughter. I highly recommend buying a car here. I absolutely love this place! They are always so nice and understanding. Their prices are really reasonable and I haven't had any issues with my van, and if I did they were always ready to help me. I purchased a warranty with my vehicle that fixed a major repair which didnt cost me hardly anything!. Great office people and salesmen. Bought a 2012 dodge journey from here, was on the side of the road within 20 minutes with a blown head gasket. No refunds, no trades, no help. According to the "salesman" Moe, it is our fault for driving a damaged car and it's now our problem. Heartbroken as we've been needing a reliable vehicle for our kids, just to be scammed. Now looking at a $4k loss. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
