    Kwame Kenyatta and Zoe are two of the rudest bank representatives I have ever met. I came to the branch to simply add my wife to my account after opening an account yesterday. Upon entry Zoey advises that they are closing in 30 minutes and I should come back Monday. I advise that I just need to add my wife to my account and take a seat. I listen as Kwame makes promise after promise to another customer that the bank is always available to them and to reach out if they ever need anything. He also indicates that customer service is their top priority. At about 12:05 p.m. Zoey and Kwame get together and have a conversation for about 10 minutes. Kwame then helps another customer that walked in after us. Kwame later comes out after we have been waiting 45 minutes now and tells my family that he was booked solid for today and cannot help us. He literally just took care of someone else but refused to assist us. By far the worse banking experience. I will be closing my newly opened account Monday. UPDATE: I contacted the customer support center as indicated below and waited on hold for over 10 minutes and nobody answered. It appears the lack of customer service is reflective at this level as well. This bank seems to be a real let down and is simply full of empty promises. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere.

    I stopped in to this branch today at 4:55 pm having an existential crisis. Ill spare the details but Atif Naqi, one of the bankers, invited me into his office and calmly walked me through everything, made a phone call and solved it. Never once did he make me feel like an inconvenience or interruption. Good job Fifth Third. Finding people like Atif keeps all 5 stars lit up

    Thought of opening a current account and reached the bank around 11:30 AM on Saturday (30 mins before closing) and the teller told me that can't open bank account today as it takes upto 20 mins to create an account and they are close to closing. I told her we have more than 30 mins and she said they can't open and suggested that I book an appointment for some other time. Decided not with worth wasting my time and left the bank.

    I opened a checking account with them and then closed it after a year. I received a statement charging me an $11 service fee for a closed account. I've tried to call them, but the phone has rung 20 times twice now and no one has answered. Maybe they have a new number but that means the one at their website is wrong. I'm not impressed.

    They allow their employees to misinform you and hold your emergency funding during times of crisis. Any bank that can do that is pure evil.

    Don't even bother opening a business account here they will not help if you have any issues. They let your account get compromised multiple times and tell you they will call you back by a certain date/time but do not. When I call they don't even answer the phone what kind of bank does not answer their phone?! Believe me they will string you along. My card was canceled so many times with no explanation so it left me with no way to order merchandise for my customers. In the mean time my so called bank took no actions and did not help in any way but they did charge me multiple times to get my card in the mail. This bank is not on your side in any form. They only care about the money. Today they told me thats also why my personal account gets hacked too is because I have a business account too. How does that even make sense? What a joke!! $1600 was taken out of my account and they claimed I singed paperwork at the bank then they said it was somebody else. They told us don't worry we are working on it but with no return phone calls and no follow-up. I can assure you they do not care about there customers. Long story short there are definitely better banks to bank with!!

    Absolute horrible bank. Deposited 1000 dollar check they cashed it and will not release funds for 10 days while they earn interest. Transfered 500 from my other bank they withdrew money and hold it for 4 days. They sit on your money and earn interest off all customers. I would stay far away from this bank! Funny thing is when I deposited check they said for a 10 dollar fee I can have the funds available immediately. Charging an account holder to cash a check. I'll be closing account as soon as I get all my money they owe me. I can go to a check cashing place and pay 10 dollars to cash it, I don't need this bank ripping me off.

    This branch has a secured door entry with a metal detector, so as to prohibit entry with a weapon. Sounds fine, except that all they are doing is ensuring their customers are unarmed and defenseless when entering and leaving the bank, thus informing all criminals that the pickings are easy here. I find the absolutely callous disregard for the safety of their customers, along with the laws of Florida to be pathetic. If someone is ever robbed on their property (I do NOT wish this to happen) and injured or killed because they were unable to defend themselves due to this policy, I would expect them to be sued for a massive amount. I have to use them for work, but only in the drive through - I give up my rights for no one.

    I been banking a 5/3 for a very long time and my main complaint is they always offer cash bonuses for new customers to open a checking account but no bonuses or incentives for those who have been loyal to the 5/3 bank ...
