I had a savings account with 5/3 since 2016 and it was fine. They switched it to a checking account without notice. This new checking account charges me monthly if I don’t deposit at least $500 a month. I am a student who was laid off due to COVID-19. I won’t be able to deposit $500 monthly. I am closing out all my accounts with 5/3 and switching to Chase due to poor customer service and lack of communication with their accountholders.

Ray Amra misled me and lied to me. It was the worst customer service ever. When I confronted him, he denied the whole thing. Not to mention that I had to wait 1 month to see him and then waste my time. I don’t appreciate people who don’t value my time.

Terrible bank 5/3rd is very racial company and the supposed branch manager aka Mortgage Broker his initials are S.F he has nice checkered past just look his background up in Kane County if you want to see. Fifth Third is one of the worst banks in America with its racial profiling. West Chicago Branch CORRUPT! Also google this it also shows how 5/3rd discriminates. fifth third bank charges higher interest rates to minorities

Worst bank ever to be completely honest with you! Switched from chase because this bank was supposed to be better and its been non stop problems since day 1!!! Sick of it
