If you’re looking for a great place to bank you have to give FAIRWINDS a try. I’ve been a member there for over 20 years and they always go out of their way to make sure I’m satisfied with any service I’m using. The staff are always friendly and helpful which is not always the case with all financial institutions. The Wekiva branch is exceptional.

Shannon Hill's consultative, low pressure approach is a breath of fresh air for an industry that is notorious for selling consumers things that they don't need. If you're in the market for a new financial institution or just want to get a second quote on a loan or CD, I highly recommend that you consider working with Shannon and her Fairwinds Credit Union team.

I have been working with Loranda Johnson in financing on and off for months. She is hands down the SWEETEST AND MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE representative. She has been so incredibly patient and has helped walk me through the process of fixing my credit so that I can refinance my vehicle through Fairwinds. I am truly astounded by her level of professionalism and a 10 in customer service! This is the type of person that needs to be promoted into management. She is an incredible representation for Fairwinds!!!

If you are looking for an unprofessional branch that has fees for everything you open, requires mandatory monthly deposits, and doesnt honor the other credit union affialations (even though its a shared branch), then this is the place for you. Dont worry, according to the account manager...there are ways around the fees and he will tell you, but the fact its an option is ridiculous. I wasnt allowed to withdraw anything because they didnt prepare for the hurricane and would only let members of that specific branch withdraw up to a certain amount. Dont waste your time, just go to Orlando Federal, they are nicer and wont give you a problem.

Best branch, you are met with a smile and the tellers remember you from your first encounter with them. I have been banking wit Fairwinds for over 20 years and I’ve never had an issue. Shellon is very personable and helpful. The only flip side is that their banking system is not national like other big names but better they stay this way because you can bank on the quality service you will receive and your money is better protected. Thank you Longwood Fairwinds Staff for all that you are able do within your boundaries on a daily basis.

Shannon Hill is the best! She will do everything in her power to help you. She went above and beyond to help me close on my first house. This is the first time I met her and she treated my like I was a family friend. I would recommend fairwinds to anyone that wants to treated like an individual and not an account number. Shellon at Fairwinds Credit Union is a lady who really goes out of her way to assist her customers. She has assisted me through so many situations where I really needed some sound advice. She was always there to provide it. I strongly recommend this credit union and Shellon. I must say, they seem to have the absolute best tellers and managers as well. If you need a loan- you need to ask yourself why you have never gotten one [if you haven't already] through a Credit Union. Specifically Fairwinds Credit Union. I have been a member for 25+ years and continue to have the best experience with FWU. My loan officer -Robert Toyzan in the Wekiva Office in Longwood has been so accommodating in so many regards! He's been honest about my best options and expedites my request typically the same day. He's your go to guy for most loans and passes you on if it's one he does not do in the branch!

Anytime I have ever had a discrepancy, whether it be on my online statement or with an unauthorized charge on my debit card, Fairwinds always takes care of it and never gives me any hassle about it whatsoever and I appreciate that and truly feel like they are on my side.
