Jen Schneider and her team at Christensen Financial were fantastic to work with. We used them last July to secure a load for my daughter's townhouse and then again this year when the wife and I moved. Communication was great and every step of the process was easy. So much of the process was taken care of ahead of time, that only a few signatures remained when it came time to close on the houses.

This was my 2nd time using CFI & using Laurie . My first home buying experience was a breeze and a fantastic experience. This time, I had some challenges take place that I had to dispute from an unrelated company due to bad credit reporting causing my credit to drop during the approval process at no fault of my own. I was looking at potentially losing our dream home we put an offer in for. Laurie & the underwriting team (Taylor & Edeline) did everything possible to get the job done and still managed to close within 30 days! They were very responsive, found every possible avenue to keep my process moving forward & even helped me walk through/overcome my credit dispute process which helped contribute to a timely closing! Kristen is always very prompt with her responses and is always on top of everything. She is an extremely hard worker and works long days in order to make sure all of your info is submitted and you receive your information back ASAP. Working with Deb was great. She is patient and explains things in detail. Where it went downhill was when they had me start working with others in the organization (ie Patty). The communication began to lack and so did the patience and professionalism. From having to redo and resend paperwork they already had, to them not providing me the correct amount due at closing. My 1 star is for the headaches and lack of communication. Purchasing a home can be stressful so the added stress coming from the lender is ridiculous and totally unnecessary. I was dealing with this lender even after the fact, after the closing of my home due to the lack of communication and the lack of organization! I would not recommend this lender for that simple fact. If all loans and communication go and come from Deb then that would be the only way my rating would change. If not, I highly recommend you do your homework and go elsewhere.

Colette Wilson and the team at Christensen Financial were amazing. They were extremely communicative and efficient every step of the way.
