Edison National Bank Reviews
B
We have been banking with Edison National Bank since 2002 with absolutely no regrets. They have always provided us with amazing service on both a professional and personal level. They have provided us peace of mind when it comes to our banking and financial needs. Gone are the days of the neighborhood banker, but we feel with Edison that legacy still exists. Thank you all at Edison for still caring about your customers, it is greatly appreciated it.

I have banked with Edison for my personal and business needs and have found this bank to be the friendliest most helpful bank I have ever worked with. The staff there really go out of their way to exceed expectations. I own a small business and it's nice to have a partner you can rely on to help your business succeed.

ENB has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced at a bank! Whatever you need, they do it, and they do it with a smile. I never have to wait in line to be seen, and they do everything they can to meet all of my needs quickly and efficiently. I absolutely love doing business with them.

I have had the pleasure of being a ENB patron for many years. The professional experience is only exceeded by the kindness and courtesies extended to me now these many years.

We are from Minnesota and are retiring in Florida. We Setup a savings account a couple years ago so we could get a save deposit box. We put money in so it could be directly paid for annual safe deposit fee. Apparently they left out that there is a$500 minimum. (On a savings account) good thing my kids don't have there money in there, they would be negative since they don't meet the $500 minimum. They charged us $5 month for savings account when balance was below. Needless to say we paid tons of fees, and made .005 percent interest (about $1 over 2 years). I confronted them and was told it was in the contract. Apparently we give them our money and they charge us to make sure it's safe. I've had a bunch of savings accounts in my lifetime and almost every one of them was a $5 minimum unless you're making a higher percent interest. We now live in Florida full time and are moving our bank accounts down here. Glad we seen there crooked tactics before we move are real money down. Can't imagine what other hidden fees they have. Found a new safe deposit box at finemark Bank off of college. Finemark bank has $5 minimum on savings accounts.
We take pride in providing excellent customer service and would like the opportunity to further discuss your concerns. Please contact us at 239.466.1800 and ask to speak to our Office Manager, John Ammons. We look forward to talking with you.

I know everyone likes the locally owned businesses and friendly environment. But this place is an exception to that rule. No sooner did I open accounts at this bank they changed their policies and implemented new fees and minimum balances. That really irritated me and I went to Chase instead. Haven't had any issues with Chase in the 6 years I've been using them. Most recently, my grandmother passed and she used Edison bank. She had two accounts at this bank and it has been the biggest hassle in my life being with them. Every single issue with my grandmother's estate was settled in a month (including selling her house). It has been 4 months and I am still fighting with Edison over closing out her accounts. One account they required a death certificate and the other they did not. They aren't very friendly or helpful and above all they don't seem to follow any set of regular policies. They just wing it as it goes along. Very frustrating place to deal with for both personal accounts and estates.

This place is highway robbery. I simply stopped here to get money to reward Captiva's servers and wait staff, who are enduring stressful times with the virus, in cash for a pleasant experience. What do these people do? Slap me with a $6 fee to withdraw $100. HIGHLY unrecommended
Clients of Edison National Bank and Bank of the Islands may withdrawal from their accounts with us both in-person or by using our ATMs without incurring a service charge. Non-clients who use ATMs owned by Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands to withdraw cash from their bank account will receive an on-screen ATM Fee Disclosure that explains a $3.50 fee will be assessed in order to proceed with the transaction. They may select to either cancel the transaction completely, therefore not incurring the $3.50 fee, or agree to the fee and continue with the withdrawal. We encourage any non-customers to verify with their financial institution what additional fees they may incur for using an ATM outside their bank’s network. We take pride in providing excellent customer service and would like to take the opportunity to discuss your concerns. Please contact us at 239.466.1800.
