The St. Clair County EDA has been an incredible partner & resource for all of our businesses in our county. They genuinely care about the people and community and have been working tirelessly to not only bring more business and opportunities to St. Clair County but also supporting businesses of all sizes that are here operating here currently.

The EDA has long been an important part of St. Clair County businesses and manufacturers. In the first quarter of 2020, they have had a significant impact on all businesses, and specifically, small, locally owned businesses, by helping navigate the extraordinary challenges presented by the COVID-19 crisis. Many small businesses have been able to count on the EDA as a well organized, concise, and thorough resource for HR issues, executive order navigation, supply information, grant opportunities, and more. The EDA has supported both member and non-member businesses, which has been an incredible gift to non-members. While a small business may be defined as 500 employees or less, many small businesses operating in our small cities and downtown areas are 40 or less, sometimes maybe only owner operated. The EDA has proven to be a essential partner to my business.

The EDA team works hard to serve our companies. During difficult times, they are out on the front line with information and resources for our companies. I can't imagine a team that works as hard as they do for their community.

Our organizations have worked together closely for years and they are the backbone of the county's ability to bring investment into St Clair. The county would not be what it is today without their tireless work, effort, and heart.
