They have really kept this arena in great shape. It was clean and very well maintained. The game was fun and there is a wide selection of concessions.

The shrine circus was very fun this year! We really Loved the light show, the transformer car & the electronic gorilla! It was great seeing the tight rope act back as well! See you next year (2021) we're excited to see what's next!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff is so friendly, it's pretty clean. The seats aren't super small. AND THE FIREBIRDS KICK A$$!! LET'S GOO!!!

The seating that was installed in the arena is a much needed improvement. Also the fact that they were able to repurpose them from the Palace Auditorium is an added bonus!!!

Saw a firebirds game. Seats are comfortable and food/ drinks were a good prices. Had lots of fun.

The rv show was a waist of time but the facility is in fine shape the restrooms were clean

OHL Flint Firebirds hockey is the stepping stone to the NHL. State of the art HD score and video board. Not a bad sightline in the arena. Gift shop, concessions, lighted parking lot with security personnel.

I had a young lady in a wheelchair to take to our first Firebird hockey game, and the staff was very helpful. Coming and going. Great seats. Even though I was in a folding chair, I didn't care. The fans are passionate, and the team was awesome. We'll be back for more!

First of all don't judge a book by its cover, When I saw the outside of this building I thought it was going to be all beat up on the inside. This is a great place to see a OHL / Flint firebirds game. The arena staff is really helpful and friendly.

This is one of Flint Michigan's iconic landmarks in my opinion. I'm 53 years old and remember my uncle and dad talking about the arena back then. I have had a lot of fun and a lot of memories in that establishment back in the day. Still looking really nice inside of the building also now day's. My review is about the blues festival here in Flint, with Pokey, T.K. Soul, Nellie Tiger, Bigg Robb, and his sister. and Calvin Richardson. I think I am done with these so called shows, and they don't even have a band, they had a DJ playing music, they had a couple of band members that came out and played a few strokes, such as Maurice Davis who only played about 3 min and exited the stage. Calvin Richardson did come out and did a move with a little excitement. Bigg Robb had his band and he did excite us a little bit with his custom made sequine suit on which was really sharp by the way. They all sung old songs and didn't sing no new ones . I could have lip synced and got away with it too. They charge $10.00 to park, $10.00 for the watered down drinks. The seats, were horrible. That's my last blues show at Dort Arena.

We come here to watch the Firebirds play. It's always a good time! (FYI)-the person making the popcorn is heavy handed with the salt so beware... Lol

They renovated the arena. Its really nice! New chairs. Video signs around the whole arena. They have 4 food areas, all of which serve different things.

Great place for many venues! Bathrooms are adequate and plenty of food choices. UofM graduations are also hosted here.

This place is a great venue to catch a hockey game! They do theme nights and family nights. The kids were able to skate w the players after the game and get autographs it was an amazing experience for a great price! Will definitely be taking my boys back again soon!

Building was kept pretty clean and enjoyed free parking for the RV show.

Everyone was super helpful during our recent trade fair. Everything was well maintained compared to the last time I was here for my college graduation. Parking is still a bit of a mess and could use some reorganization, but there is ample space. Being at this venue has inspired me to go to the next hockey game they have here, I haven't been in probably two decades.

Old, but well maintained building. Parking lot is crumbling and coming apart. Went there for a home show, did not realize how small the venue was.

I was pretty impressed with the comfortable seats. I wasn't expecting things to be as updated and nice, so that made the event more enjoyable. I did not like the prices of food/drinks for this place being in Flint.

Nice arena. Signs for amenities like elevators weren't too prominent.

First time going here. Went for a firebirds game. Great arena. I liked that it had a smaller feel to it, but it still had everything you'd need from a bigger arena. Looked like every seat would be a great view of the ice. Parking was easy and not a far walk to get inside, although i did not look to see if they had wheelchair access, we did walk up several steps but they must because i did see someone with a scooter inside. Smoking area was covered and easy access. Bathrooms were clean and kept up throughout the game. The arena staff was friendly, even the one at the entrance checking purses/bags was pleasant.

I used to work here when it was called the IMA Sports Arena. It was a GREAT place to work. I worked as an Usher. I loved coming to work there. Lots of people to meet. I took my son to his very first Hockey game on his 5th birthday (some odd years ago(. Good place! Hockey is fun to watch! The Flint Generals/Fire Birds are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!!

Had a GREAT time doing the 50/50 at the Firebirds game for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.

I enjoyed a Firebirds hockey game with my brother here. One level seating with not a bad seat in the house. Overpriced concessions and under quality taste. Beer prices are decent. They have a gift shop that is extremely overpriced for the merchandise. VUP parking is available in the rear of the building for $5. The venue was clean along with the restrooms. Staff was friendly and armed security was plentiful making you feel safe (even though entry did not require a search or metal detectors). Good team with nice entertainment between periods. I would definitely return for a game but eat somewhere else prior or after.

Good place to see a hockey game. Food & drink options are outstanding, but the parking isn't! You either better leave early, stay late, or plan on sitting in your vehicle for an extended period of time after the game ends.

I've been going here for thirty years and still no upgrades. Same old seats, bathrooms and structure. The only updates are the advertising signs.

As the biggest venue in the area, there is not much local competition to compare it to. Still, I have always found this place to be adequately staffed with friendly employees. The seats are a bit old, the building shows its age, but hey it's what we got in the area! One idea would be to put some letter markers down in the bottom row seats so people can tell where they are going. Seems like it would be a quick and cheap fix. Can't imagine it's more than a few hundred bucks to print off medal placards and have a staff member screw them down.
