Surprisingly easy process and not a mad scramble for documents. I was expecting it to be completely different having just helped my mother with obtaining her mortgage in Alabama with one of the big banks. This was completely different from the outset. After submitting application, John called me and asked if I had any questions or of he could help in any way. It was a nice personal touch. I felt extremely informed during the whole process and never hassled. John even showed up at my closing to make sure everything went well. I've never had someone from the mortgage company at any of my closings before. It was very reassuring as an older woman buying a house on my own for the first time. I highly recommend DHL and John Basso specifically.
