My first impression was trying to park at their location. I unloaded my kids and we went inside. I was immediately told in a condescending way that my car will need to move. Like I should've known better. So we load back up and move up the street. I should've just left. After re entry of this place I was approached with a what do you want demeanor by an older blond woman. I said I want to apply for a loan. I filled out the paperwork as I watched the interaction of the small office. This place felt like a hole in the wall pawn shop. I watched the dark haired woman complain that their St. George location doesn't tell the anything. This is who you'll reach if you call but apparently they don't communicate between sites. She was also getting short with customers. The location is bad and I worry the terms are as bad if not worse. I did not get a loan. Why would I want to hand over my private information to such a scummy place. First and foremost get a new location and secondly work on your customer service.

Called me for a couple weeks daily when I was able to make it in the told me the were unable to verify my income I took them the paystubs they wasted my time and gas to get in there

They helped me when I was in a bad situation, and have helped me through the process of repayment. I appreciate Kyle at the St George branch specifically, because he genuinely cares about his clients. I'd recommend them over any other loan place, hands down. Thank you

The loan process was fairly quick and easy. They approve loans based on how long you work at current job, and I was able to walk out with a check in under 20 minutes. The agents were super friendly and engaging. I like that they don’t run credit checks on you, and are approved same day. Definitely would recommend if you are in need of some emergency cash! 💯

Danny was the most kindest person to talk to me regarding my loan, He was very professional. he looked at every option to help get rid of my loan. 10/10. :)

Desert Rock has always treated me more than fair and understanding. Danny has been very nice and charismatic with me and is always verygood to work with. .

I was in need of assistance and they treated me with dignity, friendliness and were extremely professional. The pre-approval process was simple and the actual application process that I was approved for took only maybe 15 minutes once paperwork was completed. If you listen to the instructions of what to bring with you it speeds up the whole process. Once approved you sit down and they go over the contract and explain the payment process. They have a very friendly old school way of making payments so no fear of overdrafts. They really want you to succeed and pay off your loans. I highly recommend them.

I recently worked with these guys and they’re super quick and VERY helpful and professional! I definitely look forward to working with them again if I ever need the help again down the road!

If I could have given then zero stars I would have. In my opinion it takes a special kind of place and person to profit off of other people's suffering. This is that type of place. I regret ever doing business with them. The staff pretend to be friendly and care about your circumstances but you can tell they really don't. They love to threaten you with court and remind you that you signed a contract. Do yourself a favo and never do business with these people. You will regret it. In my case I've paid off what I originally borrowed but yet I still owe them money so from here on out everything I pay them is pure profit to them. Stay away from Desert Rock Capital. They are the exact definition of predatory lenders.

Literally the worst company. I have paid them and paid and paid them, they still want more. I've already paid 4 times what I've borrowed. As others have stated they love to sue and file court cases. Go look it up for yourself, literally 100s of cases filed a month by this company. They don't care what your situation is, they just want your money. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here, it will not help, it will only make your situation worse! More debt plus the added stress of constant phone calls to your relatives and a pending court date, thank you desert rock so much for your "help".

Do NOT get a loan from here unless you are incredibly desperate. And if you are forced to, don’t ever miss a payment. Even though I had a payment arrangement worked out, I missed one phone call and they immediately started blowing up my references. They called my mom and made it sound like I was worse off than I was. They actually gave her my personal info and allowed her to pay on the loan without my permission. Nice gesture from my mom but a massive breach of my privacy and really unprofessional from Desert Rock.

Never use this service. Now matter how much you think you might need money. It is never worth using this service. It’s a company built to take advantage of people. Disgusting.

Desert Rock Capital helped me when others would not. The only drawback from other loan places is that you cannot login to your account and see where you are in repayment. I would still recommend them for an emergency loan.

Please do not get a loan here! All you need to do is lookup how many court cases these sharks file EVERY WEEK, it's insane!! Anyone can view the public court records by going to utcourts.gov and going to the weekly report. Just this last week, right before Christmas, they filed over 50 lawsuits! They are sue happy, and are just waiting for you to miss a payment. These guys are the definition of loan sharks, and they will gladly twist the knife once you are down. STAY AWAY!!! Also, you better answer anytime they call, if you even miss one phone call after being even one day late, they will call your references relentlessly. Worst loan company I ever worked with! Never again!!

really wish I read the reviews. I needed a loan due to hospitalization. Ended up getting the loan and had to go back to the hospital shortly after. I called to try and work something out and the owner or someone Shaun, complete @$$hole. First thing he said was so you gonna pay me or not. Anyway I was told a payoff amount last Friday (today in Monday) and he told me few hundred difference today. place needs to get shut down. Thankfully the phone call was recorded and lawyer said very much eligible for charges to be pressed :) so see ya in court

Deborah was amazing she made the process very easy it didn’t take long at all maybe 40 minutes tops and I was out the door with money in my hand to be able to buy Christmas for my son. They waited for me to be able to get there even though they were closing. my schedule is kind of unpredictable so it was very nice to know that they understood that were still willing to wait for me. I would recommend come here to anybody that ever asked me 100% hands-down they do a great job

I was in need of a small loan for some unexpected emergency expenses and not having a lot of credit history Desert Rock Capital was one of the few options i had. I did the application online and immediately got a phone call from them wanting to get me in their branch to complete the loan process, they were very nice and seemed promising... even though i felt he was pushy i still went ahead and took them the things they asked for after my online "pre approval"... I took time off work and went to their branch, filled out paperwork and emailed them my paystubs and proof of address and waited about 30 min for them to tell me i was denied and needed to call the sales manager to find out why. When i called him, it was the same sales guy that called me in the first place and he explained to me that he could not verify my employment and proceeded to ask me about my employer... which is my ex husband that i have 3 kids with... he went on about how they didn't lend to family owned operations and pretty much treated me like i was a liar and his attitude quickly went from pushy and overly nice to short and ignorant. I understand that they have the right to chose who they lend to and can understand the questions there but just because i work for my ex husband doesn't make my income less valid than anyone else and doesn't give them any indicators that i will not pay them back. I was trying to explain to him how i felt and he was extremely rude talking over me telling me he hates when people use the word discrimination and i can say whatever i want... he lost that over the top attitude and showed me really quick that it was all for nothing and that he was a totally different person and to me not a good way to treat customers approved or not approved. Very unprofessional and i thought that people thinking about applying through them should know that they do not support or lend to family owned or operated businesses. I was able to get a loan through another lender within a couple of hours and they gave me no issues about the company being someone i know or "family owned" i even explained to them the concern desert rock had and they didnt even need to know that info because they did their job and actually verified my info not just did a google search. I would think twice before using this place, seems they have a sneaky and deceptive way going about their business and again rude as hell, cant imagine having to communication w them if i needed them to be understanding or needed them to even hear me! Terrible experience, total waste of time.
