This is the cleanest pawn shop I’ve ever gone too in Columbia. The staff are very friendly and professional. They are very knowledgeable about the products in the store. I really don’t want to say this but there are a lot of hidden gems. I will always check here before I shop retail ! Even though products are second hand the look like new (gently used) . That’s very rare to come by at a pawn shop in Columbia !

Stopped by DJ&P this morning with my wife. We are looking to upgrade our handguns. I've been shooting since I was very young, but just recently got back into shooting on a regular basis. My wife has shot before and owns a .25. She is shooting with me now and is looking for a 380 or compact 9mm. Decided to check out some of the local Pawn and Gun stores and today was productive. We went to four places and she has picked two that she likes. Chris and George helped her out tremendously and let her try a couple of the New Taurus Spectrums they had. She loved the gun, but she has trouble racking the slide on most automatics due to a slight case of Arthritis in her left hand. George saw her working the slide on a couple of guns, and he came over and showed her a simple variation in sliding the gun, and she was able to easily rack the slide after that. He simply saw her having difficulty racking the slide and walked over to show her and it made her day. ..Thanks George. We are going to continue to look over some guns the next couple / three weeks before making a final decision on what she likes the best, but the trip to Decker's this morning produced a good choice in the Taurus, as well as helpful hint from a nice gentleman. I'd do business with them for that 20-30 minutes worth of help and discussion. .... Nice people, Good Selection. Worth your time to check this place out.

My first visit and they wouldnt accept the ps4 because the ports were clogged(which i understand). I then brought back my NEWER PS4 which wasnt clogged but my controller had died before i brought it. The man refused to accept it because a port was broken which he guessed on due to the fact that a charger that he provided wasnt quickly charging the controller. I then seen 2 other customers one with a fairly new mac book and the other with a ps4 and hoverboard, which were also turned around. If i had to guess this isnt a pawn shop its more of a buy whats already there, seems like they are only interested in guns and jewelry so keep your electronics and save your gas.

Had a great experience with associate with short blond hair. I was trying to get assistance from others but manager was busy flirting with young female associate. My questions were answered and I spoke with the lady who helped me. She gave me card for Larry., he also was very nice. Thank you Larry and to the other lady. I will be back to buy a gun.

Don't use this place! They're money hungry and uncompassionate. I have pawned the same item maybe 6 or 7 times and have always paid to get my item back. I had to pawn my item again because my wife got laid off because of the coronavirus. Things have been really tough here lately. My transmission went out my Jeep and had to put it in the shop. The time for my pawn was up on the 24th. I called and told them that I couldn't make it there till my Jeep got out the shop. So I went on the 26th 2 days past the pick up day. They wanted to charge me a whole another month of interest after only 2 days. They're slimeballs! But what can you expect from a pawn shop. I hope they fall down on their luck and need someone and they deny them any compassion!

My first time doing business with them was last week. Clean, organized pawn shop with a lot of great firearms. Staff was a little awkward. Other than that, I had a positive experience.

Overall until this morning I have had great experience with this pawnshop. I had done business with them for fifteen years prior. Needless to say staff is disrespectful I ask was anyone going to assist me the gentleman tells me his not my mother and it's not his job to monitor if I'm off the phone or not . They lost a loyal customer today .

Avoid at all cost. Went to get my gold necklace repaired they refused to open the door & told me they are not doing jewelry repairs. Drove 36 min across town because they advertised themselves as a jewelry & pawn shop. Highly disappointed

BUYER'S BEWARE !!! The other reviews may be from the pervious owners. Not certain but after my experience I feel that it was. I have done business with the pervious owners. This is the worst Pawn shop since new ownership. They take advantage of elderly people. My mother does not understand technology, she's eighty-one years old. She put an outdated hand held game on lay away for a grandchild. Went to pick it up and I discover what she purchased, I was shocked. I asked can she exchanged for something else. The item was still in the store never left the store. The lady behind the counter (Ms. Grinch). Told my mother they don't do exchanged even if the item never left the store or on lay away. However they wouldn't even compromised. Really, my mother is stuck with a gift her grandchild will never use. $125.00 dollars down the drain. The pervious owner did not do refund or exchanged. But if the item had not left the building the would try to work out something so everyone win. Buyers beware I told my mother leave the item on lay away and go back in May 2019 to pick up. She had six months to get the item. It was a gift for Christmas until the Grinch stole it. And cash was not an issue!!!!!

I had a handgun shipped to this FFL. Wouldn't recommend. Would not allow me to inspect the firearm before transferring and threatened to ship it back when I persisted. He assured me that transfers weren't worth his time, so I'm sure he will not be upset by this review.
