DATCU Credit Union Teasley Ln, Denton

Financing my car with them, never was aware of the outrageous charges they make for leaving a lapsed of insurance. 2 months is worth $1,985!!! That's a $1,000 each month, way more than my car payment, after talking to representative and she said i should be cleared as longest i provide proof of insurance... here comes a bill for almost $2,000 . This is crazy, i should've stayed with other bank that was financing my previous car, biggest mistake honestly i regret it now. Do the research before doing any kind of switch, the reviews exist for a reason.

My husband and I have been highly impressed with DATCU Credit Union and will go no where else. Their customer service is the absolute best we have ever seen. Jake and Brady are amazing! They were able to get us a very low interest rate making our auto payments very affordable. I highly recommend DATCU Credit Union!!

Datcu is honestly a pretty worthless credit union. Time and time again they disappoint me... I've been with them for 15 years and there limitations never cease to amaze me. Why do I bank with them? I really don't know.

My wife and I have banked with DATCU since the late 1970's, maybe earlier. I have always been treated well by DATCU at any of the branches I have used, but most of the years since Teasley has opened, that is where we bank. I've found the people friendly and accommodating. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews that were posted. All I can say is that is not what we have experiences over the decades.

PLEASE READ. Do NOT do business with DATCU! THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They fail to inform you if you don’t have full coverage insurance they will charge you a “Collateral Protection Premium” OF ALMOST 4,000$! They literally will add it to your loan total and won’t even remove it once you get full coverage! By FORCE because it was “in the contract” as if anyone actually sits through and reads the contracts. OH and they try and make you pay it off in 12 months! Such a joke I should have stayed with capital one. I WILL BE REFINANCING WITH CAPITAL ONE IMMEDIATELY.

We have banked at DATCU for many years and they have always been very friendly & nice. You just updated your computer system & surprising to some of us, the budgeting management is gone. We have used your budgeting system for years for our personal taxes and businesses on our Datcu accounts. It is October and I have no way to access 10 months of itemizing of our transactions because you have closed it off with the new system or the last 5 years of data. This will take weeks to redo & re-catagorize every transaction through another system. I was told we were notified - that you were updating the system - NOT that you were cutting access to all our budgeting & accounting. Never once did you notify me that this was being dropped & no further access to all our work. I cannot believe any business would do this ever.

Really nice group of people, I have my auto loan through them and have had no issues. I don’t bank with them, but that’s just because I don’t live near any of their locations. Always promptly greeted and taken care of immediately.

I've had only good experiences with DATCU! Everyone that we've met there is always so courteous and helpful. Last year we had to move really quickly & we closed on our home loan in just 3 weeks!

Purchased new car they used datcu which I was unfamiliar with. Asked for auto draft. OMG !!!!! Never happened! 4 months later get contacted I owe 4 months payments!!!!! Said my bank account didn't exist. I assume this will effect my good credit. I have contacted them several times and have actually been hung up on 4 times when asked to hold! I would never recommend them. Most unprofessionally run businesses I have dealt with
