Dewayne is the best in the business. He has a wide range of knowledge with a special interest in musical instruments. D&P has a wide selection of guitars from new to vintage.

Really one of the better pawn shops of my lifetime. Been going there for probably 25 years or so. Very friendly and carries a wide variety of music equip, guns, guitar pedals, all kinds of stuff. Always pretty good prices too.

He's been fair and honest in the 18 years my husband has done business there. He really likes the gun selection and loved the guitars.Good people, good business.

This shop has been here forever. rather small and a bit Cluttered. I think some Items have been here since it opened. Slow rotation of merchandise so it's easy to find whatever I'm looking for if I have seen it there before.

Best shop in the city. I've worked with Dewain for years, he always buys and sells at beyond fair prices.

Dwayne (the 'D' in D & P) is a great guy, he's helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and has helped me get out of more than a few rough financial situations. He has always been willing to work with me on payments and purchases. Personally, I will never visit another pawn shop until he shuts down, and even then, I will be asking him for recommendations.

I love the vintage feel and the awesome staff. They don't low-ball you and are always more than fair when it comes to the amount you receive for your pawned item... I will always come to d&p pawn where I am treated like family

Extremely unprofessional. Called to see if there was an item they were selling on craigslist still available. The woman that answered the phone said yes, and I told her that I would be on my way. When I arrived 20 mins. later, the place was closed. You would think she would take the time to tell someone the store was closing soon. Luckily, I got what I wanted from another store. Waste of time this place is.

This Pawn shop is evil. They prey on the poor and destitute in Oakland Park. The Pawnbroker is scummy, grubby huckster. He take advantage of widows and orphans in Oakland Park. Don't go there!

These Guys are above and beyond others. they will takes steps that others will not to assure that the customer is satisfied and happy with their purchase, including bringing the product to my location when a situation arrized that prevented me from picking it up myself.
