Cyprus Credit Union 9000 S, West Jordan

DO NOT BANK HERE. Getting a loan through here has been such a hassle. Every time I try and call my loan officer, she isn’t available. I miss the days when you could just walk into a branch and talk to a loan officer, get your loan processed, and a check written all in one sitting. The officer I’ve been working with hasn’t received any of my emails even though I’ve sent them multiple times. She was complaining about her system not working when I eventually got her on the phone. It seems like this bank just has no idea what they’re doing and has lost all sense of efficiency that they once had. If I wasn’t already almost through my loan process, I’d take all my banking elsewhere.

This isnt a review of this location, just cyprus in general. Every time i do business with cyprus, something goes wrong. They mess up my paper work, they screw up my name, loan papers, you name it. Im not sure any bank would do better but cyprus just does..really poorly. Doing business with them is always a hassle with a million unnecessary inconveniences involved.

We have an auto loan through Cyprus, and it's unbelievable how difficult they make it to pay your bill. You can't make a credit card payment online, you can't do it over the phone, and then their payment systems in the store repeatedly can't read my card, even when there's no problem with available funds. I can't wait to take my business elsewhere.

DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT bank with this bank. I opened a bank account with my husband to have a joint account. Well, let me tell you. I never thought it would take over 4 months to deposit a check with them. They have deposited the checked and reversed it out 4, FOUR, times now!! They keep charging me fees and now right before Christmas you put my account negative over $1,000 and for no reason. You literally reversed it out for now reason!!!!!!! This is a joke. Closing out all my accounts once the check is figured out. There is no explanation of why it keeps getting reversed out. SUCH A JOKE. STEER CLEAR BECAUSE THEY WILL MESS WITH YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!

I felt the interest rate I receive is too high.

I opened a saving account with this credit union and I just never really used it. However, recently I called them over the phone to apply for a credit card. The lady seemed like she was annoyed that I called and felt that she rushed me through the questions. She didn’t tell me what to expect and what would happen next and so when I asked, she answered my question so fast I didn’t even understand what she said so finally I just said thank you and SHE hung up the phone. How rude! Not even a “have a nice day!” Nope. Guess she had more important things to do then be at work huh? From someone who works in customer service she was an absolute shame to speak with. She also said that one of her loan officers would call me today and I never got a call. I’m sure she didn’t even save our interaction or send my application through. Sadly I didn’t write down her name. For that I’m leaving a one star review.

After 8 years being with Cyprus I can honestly say Im very disappointed in the way they take care of their long time customers this past few years and I will be taking my money and business elsewhere in the future..

Very disappointed with Cyprus Credit union and to given them one star is more then they deserve and to be the first credit union in the day and started with from kinacot coppermine you would think being helpful and work with them to achieve a good standing relationships to want to keep people wanting to come back. I have been treated so badly l will make sure all people everywhere around the glob how bad Cyprus Credit Union is be sure of it.

This financial institution has treated me well consistently for many years and several of my family has been members for several generations.
