Wish there was a rating of less than one star. One of the worst Title companies I have dealt with over the last 29 years. They had the file for 31 days and I did not hear from them once! No acknowledgement of the 5k escrow deposit, no title commitment to review, and no municipal lien search until the day before closing. I ONLY got them because I called and talked to the owner who admitted she dropped the ball. Nice example to set for your employees. Was a simple cash closing and she could not even get the closing statement right. Stay far away! The good reviews were probably written by friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Debby and Mary on my very first closing as a Realtor. Despite working with a very unresponsive other party, Debby and the team never faltered. Even though I would email and call them regularly and bombard them with questions, they were always responsive, professional and maintained a great level of communication throughout the entire process. Glad I was able to work with such a great team on my very first closing. Thank you Debby & Mary!

Bugged me about signing papers concerning my in laws and I had a great deal going on and all other family members hadn't signed yet either!!! Was rude like I lied about being busy and then attempt to change me $85 dollars for a noble notary!!! They act like bull collectors, geesh... I asked for them to forward me an email and it never happened.

Completely disorganized, absolutely clueless about their chosen occupation. Avoid this place like the plague.

Debby is a true professional and went above and beyond in our closing!! Her staff is wonderful too. I was greeted with a smile and offered a water, soda, or coffee to drink. I felt immediately comfortable coming into the office. Buying a home can be so stressful, but these guys made all the jitters go away. I am glad my agent picked Courtland Title Services.
