Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced! I received a pre-approval letter fairly easily, but then when I asked for information about the application I was told that he couldn't hold my hand and that I should go elsewhere for my financing needs.

Worked with Tim. He was amazing! Responds quickly. He made sure I understood every process and gave accurate timelines. He made buying our home very simple and stress free.

Very unprofessional! Screens all calls and no voice mail. Tim Leatherman shared my private financial information with J & M Homes. He did not have the authorization to do so. Save yourself, use a different Broker!

Applied online to get a quick decision and have not heard from them. Not even a "Hey thanks, we're working on your approval" or not even a, "We don't like you and don't want your business." Going to Quicken Loans who has my current mortgage and took good care of us. Only went with Colonial because they were referred by the company that we're buying our second home from. Don't waste your time.

Submitted an application via site weeks ago, called, send comments via the site and have gotten no calls back or emails. Nothing. I thought this was a professional company, now I'm hoping they will remove the inquiries and we can move on to a better company who will actually call us back. Do not do business with Colonial Home Loans unless you like being ignored!

I have been treated rudely, disrespected, and told that my involvement in correcting errors in my appraisal was not my business. I am the seller! This transaction will likely fall apart, partly due to Tim's lack of professional courtesy
