I worked with Russ on a transaction that took a little longer to close than expected. This wasn't due to any fault on behalf of Russ. It had to do with the appraisal & underwriting process of the lender and Russ could only do what he could do. I was the listing agent on the transaction and every time I reached out to Russ he answered his phone, or if I left a message he called me back in a timely manner. He communicated with me what was going on and answered all my questions so that I could convey to my seller's what was happening. I have 10 years previous experience as a mortgage broker so I have a fair bit of knowledge on the subject and can tell you that sometimes as a loan officer timelines can be out of your control due to the lender. The most important thing to do is be available to answer the phone and any questions that your borrower, buyer's agent or listing agent may have and that's what Russ did.
