Horrendous experience, no contact, the phone goes straight to voicemail for days. Keeps putting off work without letting anyone know. Has made this the most painful and stressful experience it could possibly be. This has been the most miserable housing process I've been through.

I had a great experience, City Lending Inc, help my parents all the way through the process of to buying their new home. Ana Milena and her team ( Tatiana and John) were so diligent and helpful.

My experience with City Lending Vienna office was initially promising but eventually and swiftly turned unpleasant. I had a loan that was referred over to City Lending. The loan officer along with their manager assured us that this loan could be completed in 3 weeks. Everything had taken place between the inspection, appraisal, FHA loan documents, etc. Towards what we thought would be the end the loan officer and all of the parties of the transaction stopped communicating and corresponding. We had to send several emails back to back in order to get their attention. Excuses kept being giving between the underwriters failed system to issue a clear to clear to people never responding to email until the afternoon jeopardizing the timeliness of deal. They requested extension after extension and was full of excuses. City lending cost my client excess money in moving trucks & other expenses concerning her living condition because they failed to perform. Therefore, jeopardizing the creditably of my reputation & business practice of both myself and the sellers agent. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. And the sellers agent had horror stories of her own about the way City Lending does business. I will never return.

We used City Lending to help us purchase our home. The whole team there was absolutely phenomenal especially our LO Janina Litmon! She was on top of the whole process throughout, she is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. And she has a very upbeat, personable vibe! I would definitely refer and recommend using her for all your mortgage needs!

I don't even know where to begin. This was the worst mortgage experience I have ever had!! I have gone through the loan process a dozen times myself, and I have been also been a loan officer (although it was not for very long, as it was right before the crash in 2008) I know there are a lot of moving parts and things that can go wrong along the way. But even as a newbie, I knew to return phone calls and emails. Common sense in any business. I would never ghost a client! And certainly would never let a closing date come and go without saying a word! Then when the second closing date approached, the afternoon before the day, I am being asked for basic things like verification of rent, (I am the landlord selling to my renters in this case) an FHA form that was signed and dated by the buyers an entire three weeks prior. At this point my realtor is steaming mad, too, and some word were exchanged, management is "involved" and in comes Mirna, who was the only somewhat bright spot in this scenario. We had not heard from the original LO Carmen since the inception of this transaction!!! At least I could reach Mirna by phone and she replied to emails, put in some effort! Things still fell through the cracks but I will give her the benefit of the doubt that this incomplete file was dumped in her lap. The appraisal had been completed for a couple weeks but no one let us know that the appraiser had stipulated that the repairs had to be done. More time and scrambling, and two more weeks go by after the work was completed! I know this is a busy time for everyone in this business but I don't feel you should have to hound people for updates. After THREE delays we almost had to push it into February over the fact they forgot to add someone to the deed. This is *after* we had a clear to close. I am SO glad this transaction did not involve anyone trying to coordinate a move, it was stressful enough without having to worry about those logistics! The original closing date was mid-December. Whew, we closed yesterday Jan 28. I had my doubts that we would ever get there. I feel exhausted from it all.

Erick, as he always has, delivered! Our loan was a tough one from the start, where we had some doubts to how we could structure it. He went above and beyond to get it through. His team did ok but he really pushed and led the process like a true professional. Multiple loans with each having a unique twist is why we continue to use Erick Rivera at City Lending.

City Lending saved our loan! We had multiple banks give up on us but not City Lending. They worked with us and on our loan until we closed. They worked for and deserve every star I give and more. Me and my family are beyond grateful!

The payment received from City Lending was insufficient, plus it took over 3 months to get paid. I did opt out for ACH because of the wording in the Authorization for ACH Direct Credit form. And just received the check for the final and will NOT be depositing it for fear of this check bouncing.

City Lending, Inc. was SUPER communicative and helped me to gather all the documentation I needed to close on a home quickly. Our loan officer went above and beyond to ensure that we were informed about the process, and was constantly looking for the right loan to fit our needs. It was also good to have a team of people working on your behalf. I didn't have to worry about whether or not they were doing their part: I was needing to constantly call them to see where we were in the process, nor did I have to keep tabs. If I was missing something, they told me right away! This made an otherwise very stressful time more calm. Thank you, City Lending!

My experience has been an absolute embarrassment for my client when dealing with this institution. They have failed to meet every criteria that they have promised to us so far. Great customer service. The realtor and bankers at city lending that worked with me did a lot to help me get the house my daughter dream of. They were very professional at doing there job by giving advice on how to keep getting a good credit score. Milvia, awesome and help when to show home. didn't know how to do his job. He kept my buyers' clients under contract for more than two months. We had three times delayed the settlement, the listing agent and myself asked him several times if there was any reason for the loan to be denied, he promised that everything would be fine. The day before closing he called to let me know that the loan was denied because my clients were cousins which he knew from day one. After more than two months. This was the last deal that I worked with him. In another transaction, with other clients, he called when my clients were at settlement to tell us that we couldn't settle that day, after 3 months of postponing the settlement. That day buyers were traveling from out of state to attend the settlement and he just called at the settlement time. I will never again work with Herber Portillo or City Lending.
