Chase Bank Walnut St, Pittsburgh

The banker Malik completely RUINED the in branch offer for me. He told me in branch offer wasn't available to me when he pulled up my profile, whereas the in branch offer is available to ANYONE walked into the branch!!! I wasted a hard inquiry because of him, and that was the last day when the offer was available!!!This is the WORST experience I ever had in chase branch, and I wish I could rate a ZERO for this branch!!!

I absolutely love Chase & this location! This is my second review (my 1st is under Kileigh Scott) I worked with Brandon to set up a business account for my business. He was so kind and patient with me! even when I couldn't decide on a pin # lol. Brandon was interested in my business and getting to know more about me. We had a great conversation learning about each others backgrounds. The process was swift and was ready for use before I even left the building! I love the ApplePay debit card setup they do since debit cards are mailed out. I just received a letter in the mail concerning my account and I referred to Brandon's business card that was placed in my organized folder. I gave him a quick call and he knew exactly who I was and seemed excited to hear from me! It made me feel special to be a client of his! He resolved the issues quickly and I was able to move along with my day. He also did some extra digging & realized there were more steps required to get it processed. I was able to schedule a time to get work it out in-person which is great. Thank you so much Brandon & the Walnut Street Chase Team! I opened an account through chase online I came in to get my account unlocked. Gunther one of the bankers there is super awesome and helpful. He got my account squared away and also held a conversation! I definitely recommend him if you’re having trouble with banking issues.

I just wanted to thank Muhammad, Sam, and the several other gentlemen that helped me on Friday. I needed a bank statement for a new ID. I was very overwhelmed and anxious being in a new city by myself. You guys were so kind and wonderful to me. I was having an absolutely horrible day and your kindness made all the difference. Thank you so much. Excellent customer service is not a thing of the past. I will be calling corporate to let them know as well.

Customer service is so terrible. From the store manager, all the way down except the tellers. I cannot speak to their abilities. Oh, they are nice, but never really help. The customer service in the app is great. I feel the people working the call center should be running this store. We have been in for the same issue 3x still not resolved. You know a pain it is to go to the bank during a Pandemic. The business person who didn’t help us or return multiple phone calls and emails got promoted. So hopefully the management will get promoted to corporate, and we can get someone in there that really cares about their clients. Finally I can’t wait for someone to respond to this with “ Sorry to here that. How can I help?” Then we will get zero resolution and crickets.

I love Chase. Seriously. Except for one time (see Waterfront review,) I have always encountered lovely people happy to be of help and the folks at the Shadyside branch are a perfect example. We were greeted with a huge smile (even with a mask on it was clear she was happy doing her job!) by Jennifer with whom we had a delightful conversation while waiting to be seen by a banker. Then Jarrod assisted us. I am purchasing a house and, while Chase offers wire transfers through their app, I was truly afraid of making a mistake. I kept logging in and starting, then simply freezing up, afraid I would put one of the numbers in wrong. Jarrod assured me that he too opted for an in bank experience with his home purchase. Just knowing that there is a professional buffer there really eased my mind. Also having a hard copy paper trail for my files just made me breath a little easier. I was pleasantly surprised that there was parking nearby (the reason I went to Waterfront location originally) and the entire transaction took only a few minutes. Shadyside will be my branch of choice in Pittsburgh. Thanks guys!

Went to this branch today to transfer cash from my multicurrency forex card to chase card. I told some woman standing in the counter clearly the amount I needed to get transferred yet she entered wrong(huge) amount and got the transaction declined and told me that another transaction can't be done on the same day. I have a deadline to pay something with that amount and now I had to pay extra with fine because of her mistake. And she didn't even regret for the mistake she did. Totally disappointed with the service!!!

I worked with Maulik to set up my business account and he was so incredibly helpful and patient with me as I navigated the process.
