Chase Bank W Broad St, Columbus

The people at this bank accepted a check from my Spanish speaking employee to deposit to her account but then told her they couldn't cash it because it was too large and they needed to do "some research". They refused to give her her check back. They actually deposited to her account and they shut her account down! I helped her report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and they flat out told her that this was a form of racism and had an attorney get her all of her money back. If I hadn't helped her they would've kept her money and assumed that her speaking Spanish meant she couldn't do anything about it.

I'm very satisfied with the current staff. Hali is very kind.

Slowest service ever at a chase branch. Ive been here for 30 minutes, been asked what I need three times, and still haven't been helped. The bankers are walking around while helping other customers which is doubling the normal time.

Very friendly and helpful staff! I ran into an unfortunate situation where my account was overcharged by more than 100 dollars. The teller, Aleah, suggested that I call Chase customer service and ask to have those overdrafts refunded, which they did. I thanked Aleah personally and she was genuinely glad that I got my money back. Someone give her a raise, please!

This is the worst chase bank ever they are so slow and at the end they just give you appointments and they never call back

About the worst chase location I've ever been to. Half the atms don't work and have bullet holes and then the other half have scammer's credit card skimmers on them and the bank doesn't catch it . I've had so many cases of fraud from their machines. This is a real nasty ghetto branch

I call, no one ever answers. I've been up there twice to get something notarized and BOTH times the notary lady gave me wrong information. First, she made me call someone to come up to the branch to sign something because she said she couldn't be my witness, someone else had to. It didn't make sense to me, but I complied, no questions asked. I called my fiance, who came to my rescue, and after going through the paperwork, she THEN realizes he wasn't needed and blamed me. On a completely separate occasion, the same lady, I told her that I needed a form notarized for a third party. She said that she's never had to notarize that form and it was not true. She said the third party didn't know what they were talking about and basically refused to help me. Ultimately, she did not offer to notarize anything for me. I left empty-handed.

I’ve been trying to get in contact with this specific bank for 3 days now and they are very unprofessional with their telephones. Nobody picks up nor is there any type of answering machine device for a callback. Absolutely terrible. Just... terrible.

They can't answer the phone.... This isn't how you run a business. I will not bank with chase.
