Chase Bank Van Ness Ave, San Francisco

Terrible customer service for businesses. No one is available to speak or meet with us for 2 days and no one answers the phone. We have a serious business issue with Chase for erroneously shutting down our online access TWICE for a legitimate transaction and we are forced to go to the branch to get it corrected. Even our account manager was useless.

Amazing customer service and helpful and friendly staff including head of the branch to the banker.

I literally walked west on McAllister and turned right up Van Ness without realizing they are right there on the corner. I needed help with my new checking account but the person responsible for this was busy so the mortgage person stepped in to help. Also met the manger. Both made me feel welcome.

Was my bank at one point. Staffers were inconsiderate, and could not withdraw money from the ATMS if the building was closed. For these reasons, I switched.

ATMs are inaccessible if the actual bank is not open. Next closest available ATM is double the distance passed this one. Highly inconvenient for account holders.

Two customers and I waited for over an hour. Some bank staff were occupied with other customers but other staff were clearly just chatting away with a customer they knew well. I understand friendly service is important, but not at the expense of other waiting customers. And not when everyone can hear you chatting away. Unbelievable.

Understand I'm not describing chases the whole i'm describing this branch only on Van Ness and McAllister. Employees inside this brands are rude unthoughtful and don't care about customers anyway. Then call the executive offices of Chase they condone their attitude and conduct of how they treat customers. So if you want to do business with Chase go to another branch not this one.

Omg I couldn't believe this would happen to me in SF. I was waiting for a banker's which was with another client as soon as he saw me taking a sit to wait for him he stop helping the client that was with him at that moment and approached me to tell me that unless I could prove I was a US citizen. I wouldn't be able to open an account. Excuse me how do you know I'm not.......couldn't you wait until it was actually my turn to ask me all this questions... even if this actually is a requirement.... I don't think this is the right way to approach any potential customer....

I'm moving to San Francisco in the near future and just wanted to make sure of Chase Bank locations in San Francisco but right now I live in New Jersey and I'm happy with Chase I have both my savings account and my checking account with Chase

Today, they only let in ONE customer at a time in the bank. They officially realize that that a team of 5 employees can only handle ONE employee at a time.
