Chase Bank Market St, Elmwood Park

This Chase Branch in Elmwood Park, NJ is one of the worst branch, has unhelpful and lazy employees. I usually don't make comment or get upset, but it happened to me few times and I guess it's enough. I needed to notarized a single page, one guy told me wait about 10 minutes as soon as he finishes he'll take car of it, after waiting that long a lady came up and said they need to make an appointment and come back later. As a bank if your employees don't want to do these service just say you don't provide instead telling people go now, come back later or never come back. When I go to Capital One it gets done without any issues, Chase has bad customer service

Very good service. Latasha was helping me today, making my visit to be one of the best. Is the first time here, but definilly I will come back. Also the manager Marlena was very kind and courteus. She greets costumer and make the enviroment feels nice and confortable. Thank you guys for made my transaction go mooth and quiker. Thanks!

Edsion Moreno help me with my bank account. If it wasn't for him I would be lost! I tried 3 bank with multiple people and no one helped me thank god for Edison. I wish I could give them 1000%

Been banking here for 37 years before Chase. Called to add a person to all business and personal accounts have 6+ accounts with Chase. Made an appointment at 5:15pm. Told them I may be a few minutes late. Called to say I’m running 5 mins late. and the person who o had an appointment with had left already. They close at 6 pm. Didn’t even call me even though he knew my situation. Spoke to manager. Another joke, Dayshawn, he wasn’t even sympathetic. I guess that’s how you treat customers for over 37 years. Will be removing my accounts shortly.

The manager at that branch is a joke. What should take 3 minutes takes 30. Always a problem. We avoid this branch as much as possible. Would rather drive to Garfield, Passaic St. gives excellent service every single time.

Avoid the hassle. The teller,Mohammed, and the manager are not qualified for their job. The teller didn't know how to activate a debit card and the called the manager whom didn't have a clue and just started making stupid assumptions. Chase should invest in training the personal at this branch. I went to one branch in Clifton and in 10mins my card was activated..

I try to open a business account with them. They asked a lot of documents. I provide all of them. They said they are gonna review and get back to me but nobody called. I went back couple times to ask my application they said it’s in progress it’s been couple months nobody called. I opened with another bank. It’s just a bank account I don’t know why they are making very difficult to open it.

I came here to make a deposit for a family member who is currently in the hospital. The associates at this location are rude!!! I work for a bank and never would I allow my associates to speak to anyone the way I was spoken too. I was not asking for a balance or even a receipt. I just wanted the check to be deposited into her account. At the end it was completed, I said thank you and walked away. The teller (cash box 7) who helped me never thanked me, have a great day nothing. Where’s the customer service? Appreciate the fact that you have a job and be pleasant.

In a society of people that usually only give bad reviews I take pride in giving this establishment, or should I say La Tasha a great one! I never write reviews, but she deserves one! Long story short I was making a payment and I gave her $104 more than I thought I did. La Tasha counted the money if front of me twice and advised me that I had given her too much. She went above and beyond in my eyes with her honesty and integrity. She is an amazing person for doing so and let’s just say this will now be my branch for life!! Thanks again La Tasha!

The place is very safe, spacious, etc, even the PD is across the street, the only complaint I have is the horrendous smell in the ATM room.
