Chase Bank Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville

Terrible customer service, and I expect bare minimum wherever I go. To not even get a smile and a “I can help you” atttitide is really unacceptable.

Justin, who may be the branch manager seemed to be talking down to me. I had some issues with the account, when I asked for assistance as I had not been able to connect to Chase customer service due to long waits, he said he cannot help me with it. I had some documents to notarize and he said that he will not let the staff witness it as it was the Chase policy. I asked him when did the policy change, and he said that it has been there forever. I have been a Chase customer for more than 5 years and hadn't had such issues at their other branches. So if it was indeed Chase policy, have the other Chase branches been violating it all these years ? Or was it simply that he just did not want facilitate a Chase customer was not his skin color or whose account was not with that branch? While I was talking with him in his cabin he got a phone call, he answered it and then he had the audacity to ask me to step outside while he talked! This is not only unprofessional, rude but absolutely unacceptable. If he indeed had something private to talk while I was in the office, he should have put the call on hold and walked out to another cabin to take the call. Has Chase Bank's professionalism and staff training deteriorated so low? The only thing that is left to do is to move my account to another bank which has better network of branches with ethical staff and values my business.

Tried opening up a checking account here at 4:20pm. I was told their 1 guy was with someone and needed to come back tomorrow. Your Loss.

There is no one greeting at the door, bankers are cold and stand-offish, and the manager lies about his capability to help with simple solutions such as a one-time fee waiver (Which EVERY OTHER BRANCH I'VE BEEN TO DOES). Will not be banking here again and also filling a formal complaint about ripping people off by charging them for access to their own money.

The staff could NOT be any nicer. I'm always greeted wit a smile. Highly recomend this branch in Bartram Park. I am in business for myself and I understand that some customers are so self-centered that no matter how you treat them they are just looking to be victims. This is a great branch of a great bank.

I have multiple accounts with Chase and this is my home bank. All the staff and manager has always been very friendly, professional and helpful.

If only all banks and their employees were this awesome
