Having worked with a very poor company that charged me thousands of dollars in advance and then abandoned me (along with many others) I was guarded as to what I could expect- but I also knew I needed help. The price of digging out of trouble is actually quite reasonable- remember that first- even with the monthly bite as the work continues. Ovation Credit Services has remained in close contact, provided excellent follow-up, and positive support, along with transparency of actions on my behalf. Ovation escalated my case immediately with my first contact, as I had active and pending court-dates- having Creditors with dripping-fangs already dangerously close. Doing my own due diligence, I verified with my Case Manager, Gerri S. on how best to proceed and successfully resolved the impending situation with a settlement. The remaining issues are severe, but not quite as urgent, allowing for more strategy and I expect very positive solutions. My credit rating has already significantly improved and I am prepared to do all that I can to keep digging-out while trusting that Gerri S. has my best interests at heart. The decision must be made- first to seek the solution and also to accept the consequences of the actions that moms and dads and grand-parents warned us against. That is: If you're going to Dance, the Piper will be paid. If a magic-carpet ride is your best solution, it won't end well, but Ovation Credit Services are certainly not to blame. I expect to have my Credit Nightmare resolved in relatively short order, but remember, I've been at this- personally- for three years before I reached out to Ovation and I wish I'd done that first. Don't forget, it took more than a few years to get in the pit, DECIDE to get out and deal with the costs. Respectfully, Dae

I highly discourage anyone reading this from paying this company to fix their credit. I am a victim of ID theft so I signed up seven months ago. I received a report this week showing the last disputes sent were in December. What have I been paying for all year? The woman working my case has never answered the phone when I call. I have to leave messages every single time to see if anything has come off my credit. Nothing positive has happened to my credit since signing up with Ovation, except for one dispute I made myself two months prior to signing up. There is absolutely no action or concern for helping me as a customer. I work in finance, so I will definitely be discouraging my clients from using this company when they look to build their credit. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for help. I promise, you won’t regret it.

Kelly Flowers Is absolutely the best! She’s has been extremely helpful with me and knows what she’s talking about! She is very professional, kind and knew that I was trying to build up my credit and offered me 3 other trade lines to help build my credit (soft credit pull) without me even asking! The absolute worst experience i have had with any company. I used this service to help get my credit on track. Started out good. I had decided to go another route with my credit repair and to cancel my services with ovation. I was told that they where going to charge me for the next month of services. Even know there will be no services rendered. Why am i paying for absolutely nothing. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They are a bunch of useless button pushers. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

This company did absolutely nothing for my credit profile. They will tell you it takes 45 or so days for responses from creditors, blah, blah, blah, and at the same time do nothing to clear anything else. I requested old or incorrect information be removed that doesn't require a creditor and was told I had to be in a different program (more money) for that to happen. I seemed to have paid for nothing. Absolutely nothing was done to my credit profile. If these people are a product of LendingTree they are truly give them a bad projection. Ironically the person that suggested this company to me also dropped their services, I discovered in casual conversation. That speaks volumes to me. Be careful. This is a follow-up to my comments about Ovation Credit Services; I contacted the credit bureau, and was informed there was no disputes filed by Ovations on my behalf. I proceeded to file two of the requests I asked Ovations to pursue, it was handled in less than a week, free of charge. I'm not against using credit repair services, just be more diligent in your research before hiring them. They will gladly take your money in your ignorance of what you can do for yourself.

Giving five stars because they did exactly what they said would, they disputed everything for me. I don't think this helped me at all but the service does what they say they will. Just know that disputing will not magically fix your credit. If you really want to improve your credit find out what is wrong and call up any collections companies and try to settle. That's what I ended up doing and that's how I improved my credit.

My credit score fell after using their services for 6 months. Furthermore, their team knew they were unable to assist because all of my debts were with large banks and were already settled. First, they are aware that large institutions rarely if ever remove accounts because they have an entire team dedicated to verifying them. Ovation credit disputed the accounts each month - 5-6 months later, the result was all accounts verified and a significantly lower credit score. How infuriating! After speaking to their rep, she confirmed that large banks rarely remove these accounts. Secondly, although aware that their process hurts many of their client’s credit scores, they rigorously pursue customers even if they are not ideal for credit repair. After 5-6 months and nearly $800 dollars gone, I now realize that the ideal candidate have accounts with smaller lenders who are unable to verify debts in a timely manner. Third, they even resort to reading prepared scripts that are filled with lies that they themselves don’t believe. My rep read a script that made me feel like she had a gun to her head. It mentioned "our service may require 18 months..." and "I have benefitted from using the service and my credit score went from 497 to 730". How sad! Finally, the first month payment is apparently a setup fee. I learned this after having to pay an additional $50 after trying to cancel the service. How's that for transparency? Ovation Credit as a company is unscrupulous. They are more expensive than a typical credit repair service and offer no premium services. They never sent goodwill letters, they never contacted my account holders by phone, they never perused my accounts for inaccuracies, and even worse, they don’t turn away candidates they are knowingly unable to help. All they did was dispute accounts, something I did previously using the Experian app. Pathetic!

Always sorry to disappoint. Credit scores often drop during the disputing process as those negative items are removed from the credit score algorithm. Large and small lenders alike consider disputes and decision them based on the individual consumer's information. Working on my credit with ovation credit was one of the best decisions that i made at the time i did. From day one Ovation Credit gave me the support i needed as well as the education to understand what the credit process ia all about and how to maximize credit by applying different strategies. The quality of their services were beyond amazing as well as their courteousness, professionalism, and effectiveness. I'd like to thank my Case Advisor Maria Marulanda for being a great credit coach and mentor to me. I was excited to work with this company but now I have had a change of heart. Just talked to a representative and she was straight rude in asking me how was I going to help get my credit score up by doing anything different without them. Then she cut me off and the phone goes silence. Called back again and the phone goes silent when I spoke with another representative. I don’t have faith in this company and it was all a waste of money. Thinking about the behaviors of these two representatives, I feel like I was taken advantage of and they just took my money without seeing any real results.

Apology! We're already investigating. We ask all clients to keep in mind that results can take months, in fact, on average, clients are with us 6-8 months to optimize their credit profiles. Much like dieting...it can take a while to drop some weight.

I've reached my goal! All thanks to Ovation Credit Lending Services. I called them when my fiancé and I wanted to start house searching, my credit was too new and not very high score either. They set me up and explained everything, fast forward 1year and 8 months later, my husband and I bought out first house in Nov. of 2021 and I am needing to save a little more money. I called and asked to discontinue any further assistance with them and they closed out my case with zero issues. I am absolutely grateful for their help and keeping me in the loop and making sure all of my information is up to date once a month with an about 5 minute call and done. Do not go through them. They are useless they only work on things you can simply dispute yourself. I tried to cancel my services but they never answered my calls and barely responded to my emails. I had to cancel my card to make sure they didn't try to get anymore money. If you do go through them ASK THEM IF THEY CAN DISPUTE THE THINGS YOU NEED TO GET DISPUTED IN ORDER TO GET YOUR CREDIT RIGHT

SCAM stay away ! They’ll charge you $100 to become a member of their services which is already a scam within itself because you can actually dispute your own items on your credit ontop if it being 100$ a month after that . I emailed my case advisor and received no contact back regarding needing assistance uploading a document to my file . So I sent him an email within five days of me having this service telling him I want to cancel my account no answer . So I emailed the customer service email no answer . So I called in today to have it cancelled and they tried to charge me $24 to cancel the service ! After they already got 100$ out of me ! SCAM ALERT ! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY ! Update 6/23: Called and emailed this company regarding a full refund referencing the comment below on 6/17 have received NO answer no call or email back .

With scars on my credit from my past. I looked forward to getting my credit repaired. I came across this company. My initial consultation i was told that it should take 45 days to remove a cpl old debts(thats at a zero balance). 45 days turned into 10 months people. At 109 dollars a month you without a single thing removed (not even old Inquiries). I found myself feeling TOTALLY BAMBOOZLED! Every single time I called I got the run around and a slight discount(just enough to make you wait another 45 days for results). STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. UNLESS YOU FEEL LILE JUST GIVING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY! I WARNED YOU AHEAD OF TIME 🛑

I have had ovation for over a month now, I have one single thing I need taken off my report. But all I get is the same email over and over again about TransUnion reporting accurately. Yet no actual results are coming from this. Iv already forked out about 200$ and all I have is pointless emails. And I can’t even get back into the sight to research anything. I’m starting to regret paying for this because it feels like a waste of money.

This is a SCAM. I have been paying the monthly fee for 4 months with no positive movement. The portal is archaic and un-useable. The communication paths to the company are impossible to talk to anyone. AND, I am trying to cancel my account and no one will respond!

Gerri Has been great to work with she has definitely helped me submit a lot of paperwork on the back end that needed to be done And Help me get rid of all the hard credit checks on my credit report. My credit score still hasn't gone up only because I do need to pay down to the 30% utilization But that is my fault. Will continue to work with Ovation to improve my credit.

This is the worst experience I have had with a service in a very long time. After months of seeing no results I requested an update as to what the issue was and when I would see an update. The customer service representative just responded saying they will terminate my service and offer no solutions. That means 100s of dollars and time wasted for nothing.

Horrible people. They tipped off one of accounts to close it. Put it in as a dispute being open yep well its closed with a negative remark now paid 25 for them to take off all the names on my report they are all still there. I will be calling bbb and attorney general

Well,I just signed up,so far so good.I’m cautiously optimistic.When I first called the guy who tried to sign me up was really aggressive,very turned off.I tried again and had a better experience.I really don’t have many bad things on my credit report,but will see if they can get these charge offs removed.Haven’t spoke to my case worker yet,Sheondra Wells,but looking forward to cleaning this up.I understand they say 30/45 days before we hear back from credit bureau’s,hopefully we can move this slow drip along into something wonderful.Fingers crossed. I was never at this place. But I have been getting alerts where this company has attempted to remove $100 from my account 76 times in the last two weeks. I have reported the fraud and even attempted to advise them to stop. They have continued to attempt taking these funds. This screenshot is just one of five screen shots that show the very same thing. Maybe people seeing the lengths companies go to defraud or steal funds even after being told to stop.

I signed up in July 2021. They assigned a personal case advisor to me, Monica. She had been awesome. She is on top of the credit repair efforts, & writes me alot. She lets me know the status all of my disputes, and my overall credit health. My credit scores are up with all 3 agencies, and climbing still.

I signed up for the service yesterday and the representative was very nice and said they could clean up some things on my credit after speaking with him for a few minutes. I was emailed their policies and learned that they only dispute errors and inaccuracies, so I called back to cancel a few minutes later. My account had not even been set up yet so I thought it would not be a struggle to cancel. I was hung up on 4 times trying to cancel. I finally called from 2 phones at the same time and talked to two representatives that said a supervisor would be canceling my account that was not even set up yet, and I would not be charged. I woke up this morning and sure enough I was charged for the service anyway. I called this morning and was placed on hold for another hour before speaking with Travis and he said he has closed my account, and I will be refunded. He also sent me a cancellation email confirming this information. The two representatives and supervisor I spoke with last night lied to me and never really closed my account. It’s a shame that this company didn’t hesitate to get me set up and get my payment information, but I had to go through so much to cancel an account that hadn’t even been set up yet. I will continue to work to build my credit on my own moving forward.

I’m coming up on my 3rd month. All they do is send out dispute letters that continuously get denied. I can do that myself. I’ve never had an account review. I have no idea what’s actually going on what’s been done. I just see that there are 0 improvements on my dashboard and can see 0 improvements in my score from them. I’m definitely going to just cancel.

Please give us a call when convenient (options 2) and one of our Case Advisors can give an update. Credit Bureaus can take up to 45 days to respond, and when they do, it's not always in our favor. Some negative items are more difficult than others so each client, credit report, and negative can be different which is why we advise clients that the average time to optimize results is 6-8 months. The return on that investment, however, can be $$$ tens of thousands across mortgage, auto loan, insurance rates, etc., savings earned back within 12 months.

It the most pointless spend I have ever made. Ovation talks a big game and promises the moon, but their actual service is totally ineffective. There was one single credit issue due to a genuine communication lapse that I wanted ovation to fix that - for 9 months their solution was sending the exact same dispute over and over again with no change and somehow expecting a different result. Their entire (rather brain dead) business model is the belief that businesses will get tired of responding to a dispute - and the customer will keep paying till the business gives up, or the customer gives up!

I signed up with Ovation Credit Services after reading a few reviews and seeing that they had such a great rating with the BBB. Well now I know that you can't go off of that. When I initially signed up the first advisor they gave me never contacted me not returned my calls...despite me paying extra for an expedited start. So I called back and asked to be assigned a different advisor and they politely asigned another advisor. I thought things were going fine. They sent out discrepancy letters as they said they would. However last night I received an email stating that my case was being closed with no explanation whatsoever??? I called today and they told me that it was being closed because they had a chargeback from my bank. They charged my account twice for their services so I contacted my bank and told them that there should only be one charge. The person in their accounting department told me that I should have called them instead of calling my bank, because a chargeback looks bad on their company....so they needed to close my case. It's not my fault that THEY charged me TWICE for their services!!! I have no idea how things work with accounting or or billing in their company but that should not have been a reason for them to close my case when my credit hadn't been straightened out yet. But I believe that was a sign from God telling me that I did not need to use this company. So this was actually a blessing in disguise. And I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not use this company!!!

I originally wanted to find out about a USDA loan. Obviously, going in, i knew my credit wasnt good but i also knew i really didnt have a lot of debt. The bank put me in contact with Ovation Credit Services without letting me know thats what they were doing ( not their fault). Since i have actively been working on my credit, i decided to hear them out. The pitch started out ok as the person i was working with seemed like they generally wanted to help me out. Then the cost of the service came up. When I told them i wanted to think about it, the person seemed like they got annoyed. They then proceeded to tell me that i must not care about my credit.,

Credit repair.... I'm not sure that there is really any truth to that statement. I contracted and paid for 2 years with Ovation. My score did increase significantly. I do not think their efforts really contributed to the increase, as most everything that was negative, had almost aged out at the time I chose to use them. I chose them due to their affiliation with Lending Tree. Once all of the aged items had fallen off, that is when my score increased, as well as from establishment of new lines of credit from various credit facilities. Now that it has been 2 years, there has been nothing but a consistent decrease in my score, every single time they file disputes. Once the dispute has aged about 2 weeks, my score rebounds to where it was prior to the dispute being filed. This is all they have done; file disputes every single month. They have not been able to remove anything that is negative, that still has time left by law to stay on the report. While I appreciate the effort, I feel like I could have attained the same results, without hiring them. The only time I EVER HEAR FROM MY REP, is when there is a payment coming up, and they want to review my case. Each review is worthless and a waste of time. I have also been through at least 3 or 4 different reps in the time I have been with them. How can anyone make a game plan, and work with me to execute it if they are not familiar with, or following my account, unless it's time for them to withdraw money for their service. This may be the norm in this business, but it does not feel like there is anyone on your side, doing anything other than pressing a button to send out automatic dispute forms that yield the same results each and every time.

I have been in their program for 8 months and my situation is basically the same as it was, I was told to send in information to be added to my credit report and it hasn't been used to date. The program is a waste of time and money . Up date decided to stop dealing with this company and a rep. for them called talking about they dont want to lose me a a customer but i have a balance with them, now mind you i paid from the start over a hundred bucks and 90 bucks monthly but i owe you! For doing nothing i paid most debts off and made agreements with those companies to remove items myself . I gave this company 11 months and they didnt deliver on anything the promised and everytime i had a concern they would say well we will take 15 bucks off your fee for a couple of months never working harder to get me better results. 1200 bucks down the drain

Please take it from me. Don't use this service. You will pay $100+ a month. And they will only send out disputes on your behalf. They also have contractual agreements with the bureaus as far as timeliness for disputes. The LAW gives them 30 days to respond. Or delete off your report. Ovation gives them however long they need. And will not do anything for you to get them to delete items off your credit. You are better doing credit repair on your own. Everyone situation is different. But this has truly been a waste of money and time. When asking my advisor what things I could do to improve my credit. I was told to Google it. Wow! Do yourself a favor. And use another service or just do it yourself.

I've reached my goal! All thanks to Ovation Credit Lending Services. I called them when my fiancé and I wanted to start house searching, my credit was too new and not very high score either. They set me up and explained everything, fast forward 1year and 8 months later, my husband and I bought out first house in Nov. of 2021 and I am needing to save a little more money. I called and asked to discontinue any further assistance with them and they closed out my case with zero issues. If you keep monitoring things, stay in close contact with your dedicated account manager who's working on your case, you can get great results. If you sign up, ignore their emails or requests for info...don't expect things to happen quick. Highly recommend their work. My account rep was courteous and very on top of my case.

When I started with ovation everything was going well for the first few months. I haven’t seen any progress on my credit for the last 4 months, but they were charging my card continuously and when I first noticed I put in a cancellation request. Two months later my card was charged $100 so I called them and they said that the last employee who spoke to me did not document my cancellation request so they charged me. This could have been completely avoided but I am now out $100 because of their incompetence. The ride employee that I last spoke to also told me that this is nonrefundable even though they have proof that I have spoken to the employee, but they don’t have proof that I put in a cancellation request. Save yourself the time and money, totally not worth it.

I give Ovation Credit a 4 star. I would have given this a 1 star rating to be honest however i received assistance from a great employee that changed this to a 4 star review. I have been using the services for about 6-7 months. I have had 5 different case advisors plus my current one. Over these past 6 months i have gotten little to know communication or guidance from Ovation on my current credit situation. That was until i was paired with Ms. Jenna Wright. Ms. Wright has restored the faith i have in Ovation to get the job done. I explained to her everything that has transpired so far since using their services. She was very understanding and made sure she went over every detail of my case with me. Unfortunately we discovered that my files got frozen in transit. It took 6 case workers to finally catch that, so i was a little annoyed by this. Ms. Wright made sure to fix the issue while also rectifying the issue of payments to the company for services rendered, or in this case the lack there of. Due to the professionalism of Ms. Wright i am giving Ovation Credit another chance and the time to attack my credit situation the right way. I hope to see a better outcome and with Ms. Wright i have faith it can be done. Thank you!

The way they charge you is HORRIBLE. When you sign up that first charge is not the first month. They don't inform you correctly. Read the other reviews. I'm not sure why they are still allowed to offer service with this type of payment communication to the clients. When i canceled within the first 30 days i was still charged another $100 for the first month. Although I had paid $100 when I signed up. When I was signing up I had this feeling that this was a scam like all the other companies that offer to help but all they do is take advantage of those that need help in their credit score. Find other ways to improve your score and do not use Ovation.

We were successful removing some negatives (yay), but please keep in mind that credit scores fluctuate during the credit repair process as disputed items are removed from the credit score algorithm until disputes are resolved. I paid ovation $100 and in the first month I'm in a much worse situation then I was in before I signed up. Working on my credit by myself I was headed in the right direction. Then I signed up for their help and ended up owing more than $4,000. Companies are coming out of nowhere saying I owe them money. I got a new car on my own before them. Now I can't get a loan on a popsicle thanks to them. I wasn't with them for 13 days and they wanted me to pay they $54 more dollars because they sent out letters!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!

Like weight loss, credit repair doesn't happen overnight. On average it may take 6-8 months to optimize credit scores. Fees for our service are often earned back well within a year with the lower interest rates one receives with the better credit score...and the savings extend well beyond that!

In general, please keep in mind that some negative items are more stubborn than others when working with lenders or creditors. Also, during the dispute process, items in dispute are removed from the calculation of the credit score which often drops during the dispute process.

I would highly recommend Ovation especially if you need your credit fixed. My score was at around 625 and bumped up to 649-650. It Took A Couple Months but it was worth it. Wish I could give it 0 stars! After 5 months of service with ovation the only change to my credit report was a drop of 10 points. No disputes were made in month 2 and half of month 3 until I called and made them aware of this. Their sorry excuse of an apology was $15 off for the next month….😑like really, they didn’t even start working on my experian report till I made them aware of that too! If you’re attempting to fix your credit, my advice would be to try to do it yourself and if you’re not sure as to how then research a company that will actually work for you.

I had initially called to refinance my car, unfortunately I wasn't able to be refinanced through Lending Tree due to some items on my credit report, which is fine because I got refinance through Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union (They're great!!). I was transferred over to Ovation Credit Repair, which initially sounded great, until you find out it isn't actually a free service like they say it is in the beginning, then they keep pushing you to buy the service until you've had enough and hang up the phone. This review is based strictly on the salesperson, and their constant harassment of lost customers. I've had non-stop phone calls from this particular sales representative, to the point where I've had to block the number. I finally called them back directly to tell them to stop calling me, and i really hope it takes care of the issue, because harassing people in order to get them to buy what you're selling isn't exactly the best way to do business.

Well,I just cancelled after almost 4 months with ovation credit.There was just one bump on my credit,one!!! They sent dispute,sent a letter,kept asking me to download experian report and send it to them.My first Case worker Sheondra Wells didn’t even call me back for over a week after leaving her three voicemails.Spoke to her once or twice after that.Then started hearing from other case workers.Who actually we’re a lot more helpful and explained what was going on with my account.Daniel and Samantha,we’re really kind and explained what was going on. They say it takes 30/45 days to get a response from creditor,which makes sense but then it just goes around and around,nothing happens. When I called to cancel,they said we can offer you a discounted rate now of 49.99 you won’t get all the hard disputes and calls with this price.I mean,you take over 500 dollars from me,then offer a discount to do what??? Did they try to resolve my one bump,yes,did anything happen.No,nothing.But I did spend hours and phone calls,and emails,and pdf files sent. Lots of time and money spent.To get nowhere. Disappointing,have no idea what to do now. Really sucks.

It was impossible to get in touch with my advisor, everytime I would call it would go straight to her voicemail. Got little to no support and the work they do is reparative with no results. For six months using the service “NOTHING” on my credit report was resolved, no corrections, no deletions. Month after month I kept getting an email from them of the creditors responses of the same thing but no action. When I finally called to cancel, they still billed me, when I asked to get a refund they refused.

Having been a former member of Lexington Law, I needed to find an organization that would work for me and not the other way around. I paid out a lot of money to Lexington Law and outside of a few items that they were able to take care of, they really did not do what I asked them to do. So far I am very unhappy with this service. I signed up almost three months ago and there has been no activity on anything. I see that they disputed several items according to their website, but it is odd I haven't received one letter or notification from the creditors or credit companies yet. I have asked for updates and just get they are working on it and it takes time. Yes it does, but I would expect to see something, even a sign for a third party that they are actively working on it. I was told it wouldn't take more than 4-6 months to see improvements. Most of what I needed was goodwill letters sent for old late payments or "bad debt charge offs" that have been paid but are still on my credit report. I am giving them a few more days and if no improvement I am cancelling my services and asking for a refund.

This is why, on average, it takes between 6-8 months to maximize results. Goodwill letters can be successful depending on the consumer's relationship with that creditor and state of his/her account (balance due, how long since last communication, etc.). I am new to this program and hopefully can update with a better review once we start. First, the representative was kind of rude and aggressive which I informed him of. He often talked over me and kind of made me feel bad about my situation. He told me he was a bill collector in the past and I can believe it because he was not pleasant at all. I still signed up based on the reviews and hopefully this is not a rip off like most credit repair services. People should feel comfortable and confident and I felt like I was looked down upon. I guess I signed up as a last resort to help with my credit and hopefully the customer service will be better.

The team was not able to handle anything on my account. Every time I spoke with a representative the information changed. I wasted $500 to have absolutely nothing done to my credit. I was told a letter would be sent on my behalf, never received it. Called back and they didn’t help me because I had already closed my service after nothing had helped me in months. Would not recommend this service. Do it yourself!

I was pretty eager to sign up and truly thought it could make a difference. My case advisor James Harvey never even responded to me! I don’t know if he still works there! Haha! I signed up at the end of January & the initial call of course went well. He was attentive, and it was encouraging! He was saying all the right things... “call me anytime, we will discuss progress & process, a couple months and you’ll be happy with the results, we will stay in direct communication etc.” fast forward two payments of $109 .. & well, I ended up paying some of the things off on my credit because I’ve had absolutely NOOOO direction! I’ve emailed, called and even sent messages through the dashboard and NOT One. Single. Response. I’m not a fan of throwing money away, and unfortunately that’s exactly what this is.
