First time getting my car and the experience with them was great! They work great with you to get the car that fits right for you and make sure that it’s something you can afford. Vaurice is nice, professional and knowledgeable about the cars. The entire team is great and make you feel comfortable with speaking to them.

Super unprofessional. They tell you they have these deals going on but it’s just to get you into the dealership. When you ask any questions they lash out. Scam. Beware. They said you’re pre-approved and solely based on income but yet they need to run your credit. If your credit is completely irrelevant, why are you running it? They keep repeating “the bank changed their guidelines” but that’s all. They don’t answer any real questions. I live far and wanted to clarify some things before I made the trip for no reason and their representative told me everything I needed to know by her lack of answers. They are so rude. Shiesty people. I tried to have them explain it one more time because it wasn’t sitting right with me and they said “I explained it. If you don’t wanna come then don’t” 0/10. Go somewhere else.

Tim and Jeffrey were amazing to work with. They are beyond friendly and straight forward. There are so many sketchy car salesman in the business that can make this process nothing but stressful and uneasy, however our experience at CarSmart was nothing of that sort! Tim and Jeffrey work efficiently and effectively to get their customers the best prices/rates, all while cultivating an exciting and professional car testing and buying process. These guys were great. They give it to you straight, and they don’t hide anything from you. This was my first buying experience, and they helped me out a lot with the process. I originally went in looking for a 2019 model, and came out with a 2020 model that they recommended, and the price was very reasonable. They do not push you with anything, but instead are informative and helpful. I would recommend.

Smh. Overlooking the fact that it was trifling looking on the inside, I still decided to give it a chance. I inquired about a vehicle 3 days prior to my reminder call to visit to take a look at the vehicle. I received an appointment for 245pm. I get there at 250pm. The vehicle isn't even on the lot. The vehicle hadn't even been inspected. Manager spends 30 minutes trying to figure out if they can get the vehicle to the lot. Manager attempts to show me a photo of the vehicle...only problem...THERES NO PHOTO. 😑 The image I saw days ago was a factory image. 35min of waiting, I asked if the vehicle would be here in 5 min. Manager says NO hesitatantly. I leave. Maybe they were just having a bad day. But I would expect they would be ready especially if you're going to call the potential buyer 30 times a day.

This place was outstanding. First of all, this is the first time ever I was not tossed hidden fees at signing. The price given for the payment was the price including the gap and warranty. There were no changes to the monthly payment upon signing the paperwork. That amazed me. Second, the owner is very hands on and family friendly. He stepped in to help us without any hesitation, and was very honest from the beginning to the end. He listened closely to our needs/concerns. He not only explained everything honestly but also was able to show us exactly what was in our best interest and why! In the end I purchased the car we came in for with the best pricing and financing possible without a doubt. I left without any doubts on my purchase, because the seller was so honest and forthcoming. I couldn’t imagine buying a car anywhere else in the future and honestly I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a reasonable and responsible purchase. I’ve never seen a dealer spend unlimited time with one customer and work so hard to make sure you were getting a car that you can afford and that is reliable. I was a bit upset that with a 17,000 dollar purchase I got a car that was out of gas with a gas light. Now the salesman did confirm he would have the tank filled which is resonable being it’s a big purchase. At the time of signing I received a 10.00 gift card to shell for gas! That’s not exactly filling the car but I didn’t argue the matter being I was getting a good car with a decent payment. ***Update -1 week after purchase **** Upon filing up the gas tank, the gas gauge completely stopped working. Continues to show it is on E with an error message! With only 14000 miles I was kind of shocked it isn’t reading gas at all. Also, the AC apparently doesn’t work at all. I’m not sure what that is about either but I do have a warranty for 30days. I will take it back in for service on these and update regarding the service.

This place is so wonderful Azeim, Deangelo, and Haseeb were very helpful, they have great prices, they made sure my new car fits in my budget, I love how everything worked out perfectly, they made sure I was comfortable with everything that I wanted in my car, I had my daughter with me and they made sure my 9 month year old child was comfortable. Last night my fiance and I went to 'Drive Time' and they had terrible customer service nobody acknowledged that we were sitting down, and they even started closing the shop and it was 6 workers available to help us and we sat in there for an hour and did not get any service. We came to 'Car Smart' late last night and even though they were closing Deangelo still took us and started on our application. My fiance and I are very satisfied with the customer service that we had received today and we love our new car thanks to this amazing staff. My fiance will get her car here. Initially, I was going to write a fantastic review due to the customer service I received while at CarSmart in Temple Hills. I am Active Duty Navy stationed at NAS Jacksonville, FL. However, I was in the area and was searching for a vehicle through USAA Car Buying Service. I purchased a 2018 GMC Yukon on 7/10/19 for $43,000. I was told the vehicle has never been in an accident and was provided a clean CarFax report. I also ran one on my own to ensure I was getting a quality vehicle. On 7/25/2019, I took the Yukon into the local GM dealer for a safety check and oil change (still have two under warranty). The mechanic came out to the waiting area and asked if I knew the vehicle was in an accident. I told him that I did not know that and he brought me in the back to show me the damage and repairs. I don't know how I missed it, but the entire right side had been painted, and there was an area that had been welded and painted over. There was overspray on the roof, hood, and rear bumper. I called CarSmart to let them know (because I had no reason to believe they misled me), but they were unwilling to help. I was told "there is nothing we can do for you, we sold you a safe vehicle and it sounds minor". I requested either a refund or to have them pay to return the vehicle to OEM specifications. I highly recommend reconsidering buying from this location. I was very pleased with the buying experience, but the support afterward when there is a problem is indicative of the quality of a business. I reached out several times to reach an a resolution and the business refuses. I have notified US Navy JAG to list this business on the watch list for service members, filed a complaint with BBB, opened a case with the Maryland State Attorney General, and have also retained an attorney for this matter.

I'm over excited to write this review for Car Smart. I came in yesterday Jan. 30 after I recieved a call from DeAngelo in regards to a recent inquiry from another auto lot. I came in and I was greeted by the store manager and he began the in take process immediately. They worked hand in hand, Deangelo and the store manger to help me understand all of my options. I had a wide selection of cars to choose from based on the criteria provided and I was VERY happy with that selection. DeAngelo and I test drove my top choice and even grabbed a bite to eat during that time. DeAngelo put gas in the car and was able to show me a ton of features that my new vehicle would have. After our test drive, we went to talk logistics. The store manager was very nice but extremely pushy. I explained some of my concerns that seemed to fall in deaf ears. I was litterally ready to say no to the entire situation. I felt the manager was very inconsiderate to my particular scenario and wrote me off by telling DeAngelo to "just give me a business card". Cars are life decisions and he seemed like he didnt understand that. Despite that interaction. DeAngelo came back over to me & was a bit more patient and very professional when breaking down a few details the store manager didnt. Once this information was explained clearer I was more than ready to seal the deal ! After confirming my purchase, I ran into a few issues with obtaining insurance. DeAngelo and I spent about 3 hrs working through my ordeal. He called and outsourced different companies. He spoke to my friends and family to troubleshoot some of my inquiries. At last we get all my information squared away and I must say DeAngelo deserves a raise and to become a lead in his department. I definitely am happy with my purchase and experience. I plan to reccomend everyone! Thanks DeAngelo!

This, by far, was the easiest and painless car buying experience I have ever had. This is my second vehicle purchase, and I have never felt so at home and taken care of in the dealership. Dawlat was an EXCELLENT salesman. I felt comfortable asking as many questions necessary during and after my test drive. He was patient while I mulled over the details of different vehicles (I may have sat in every car in the lot)! Never once did I feel rushed. I was looking for a reliable vehicle. And after coming to Cars-mart I not only did I get a reliable vehicle but also exceptional service. Ismail and Khan were very instrumental in helping me select a reliable vehicle.

This place is a joke. Contacted them to get more information because I've been denied by guaranteed approval before. They contacted me ran my name my social confirmed my income. Everything you can think of. The lady I spoke to said I was approved by 2 lenders if I came in I would leave with a car no questions asked. Everything was approved. I go up there, hour and a half drive because I was assured I would get it. So here I am leaving with no car wasting my time my gas for someone else because I dont have a vehicle. And they weren't nice nor reasonable. Even tho I was approved proved they already ran my credit over the phone they denied that possibity. Nothing but a joke would never recommend this place to anyone.

The manager opened the dealership late, and the atmosphere was not very welcoming (felt cold). We had to go to another dealership just to print. Before I even saw the car one of the managers was already getting my information down and asked for my income and then asked for my social security. I stopped him right there and asked to see the car first. He said he was getting my information down so it can make the process easier and faster just in case I wanted the car. It was very unprofessional and I actually ended up buying a car at another dealership even though the car I wanted at carsmart was cheaper but carsmart customer service at the barnabas location was very poor. Plus the other dealership at Passport Nissan 5 mins away worked diligently to find me a good interest rate and answered all my concerns with smiles. I was able to test drive the car before they even started taking down my information. Tell your employees to work on their customer service. I already knew by the atmosphere that I would not be getting help with any follow up related questions so I went with a place that had better customer service.

Excellent experience! I recently moved into the area. I was referred through the USAA car buying service while searching for a New/Used Chevy Tahoe. Prices for there trucks seemed lower then a lot of dealers in the area. Azeim the salesman and his manager Tim made the process very smooth. This is not a normal dealer were they try and up sell you on add on’s or products. The salesman was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. Management seemed to keep the place running well. Man honestly I don't know where to start! All I can say is that my car buying experience with CarSmart was G.R.E.A.T!!!!!! I went in not really knowing what I wanted to Drive off with. The staff is extremely pleasant, and helpful. they have a Huge inventory to choose from NEW & USED CARS! I was in and out in less then 4 Hours. This being my very first car the staff made me feel very confidant in my choice of vehicle. Ajmal worked to get me the best rates and deal possible. I drove off that day with a 2013 chevy cruze THAT ONLY HAD 17,000 miles taken off. When I spoke to the insurance representative from state farm she said "WOW, You basically Brought a new car". Aj and James were absolutely the best. Their Customer service is 100% where it needs to be. I came Thursday night before closing for a red 2015 Altima. I looked at a silver one with the same features , and automatically fell in love with how comfortable the seats were on my back. They offered to have the car color I really wanted transferred from their Woodbridge location by Friday morning. They didn't pressure me to make a purchase. They answered all of my questions. All of their vehicles come with warranties. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for superior car buying experience to come here first. I will be back in the future.
