I had an outstanding experience at this location and it was all thanks to Joseph. I came in with little hope because I been turned down at multiple other dealerships because I was so young and had no credit or anyone to help me. I was recommended this place for the reason that they help you get approved for a vehicle even if you have no or bad credit. And even with me having nothing to show for myself, Joseph went above and beyond to give me the best possible option for me. He found me a vehicle that I never thought I’d love but once I tried it, it was exactly what I needed and I feel confident that I will love this car until the end. Joseph made sure I understood everything through the entire process and even when I had concerns, he reassured me that everything was good and he would help me out of there was an issue present now or in the future. Joseph was amazing and I hope that man gets everything good in life.

Buying this car was as easy as can be. Until the first time I turned the car off and the key got stuck in the ignition. Since then it’s been a nightmare. Got the thing 2 weeks ago and it’s been in the shop since Monday today is Thursday and they tell me because of their warranty whatever I have to wait until it’s approved to get this car back which could take 3 more days. It’s time to pay the first note and this car been in the shop longer then I’ve had it. How does a car that was supposed to checked out not have a working ignition switch?! So now I have to pay $330 out my pocket to get it fixed after I’ve only drove it for a few days. Do better. Be better at your jobs.

I stopped in to look at a truck they had on their front lot. I explained it was the only vehicle I was interested in, I was told to fill out the application online to save time before coming back the next day which I did. A few hours later a salesman called and asked what I was looking for and I explained once again to him. The next day I went back. They took 20 minutes to even acknowledge I was there, then came out had me sit at a desk and left me waiting for almost an hour. Then came out asked me to email my info and asked for my ID. I waited another hour then told them I was leaving. They hadn’t even let me look at the truck I was interested in. The account manager tried to get me to stay and I explained I had been up at 2:30 am for a 10 hour workday and wasn’t going to have my time waisted any longer. She asked what vehicle I was interested in and after I told her she explained they didn’t even have the title for that truck. Then said they would call me the next day and let me know what other options they had coming in. They never called, waisted my time and were completely disrespectful. I hade purchased two vehicles from the before, they have lost my business and I will never recommend them to anyone again. Go somewhere that appreciates your time and business!

The new blonde female employee started off friendly & eagered to help. But, as the process started she became a "pressure" salesman. When speaking to she spoke way loud in such a small work area. Everybody doesn't need to know all my business. She stated, that CarHop had a person who " doctor up " (Her Words) my fiancee's id because we only had picture of it. She later denied stating that to me, my fiancee, & stepson. She came off rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional when she told my fiancee " you do not make enough to even be considerate for the car you asking for ! " I think that should of been wording differently. So, we went their Lakewood office & received a MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE!

I have had the best experience with car hop I've bought 3 vehicles from them Cory sold me two and those two are now paid off n I just bought another from Joseph. Not only have they help me get into a vehicles my credit went up and now my teenagers have thier vehicles

Cory Knight sold me a car 2 years ago and Cory Knight did it again best dealership that helps out in town come on down I’d give 10 stars if I could request Cory Knight as well he will have your back and be as real as a salesman can be.

I called and spoke with Candace informing her of my credit score and 2 repo's. Said they could work with that and she's sold vehicles to people worse than me. So I take time to go down there only to be informed because of my 2 repo's I don't qualify. Shoot straight with people instead of leading them on. I'm upset only because it was a waste of my time, it dinged my credit and was dishonest with me

Rude, pushy, demanding and very unprofessional. I went in there to see options and pricing and had to wait for the options. Only to have another random associate come up with an attitude and dismiss me. Everyone huddled in the backroom. Never bothered to bring me back my License. I came to try and give this location another chance, since the first car I got from them was a lemon and the warranty is supposedly was supposed to have didn't cover anything. Would not shop from this location only looking to take your money and man handle you into a car that will only last you a month.

Joseph was very helpful and he worked very hard to get me into the type of vehicle I was looking for! And I appreciate him for listening to my questions and concerns! He’s amazing, and I had a great experience!

Joseph was phenomenal and very knowledgeable about EVERY car on the lot. He never rushed me or tried to get me into a car that I wasn't looking for or into a car that was above my means. Extremely patient as well as professional. I was at the car lot all day because I was having a tough time deciding. He never once made me feel uncomfortable about taking to long. Thank You Joseph! Never buy from these people. I was planning to buy a vehicle from this company for a second time but I had a personal issue to leave to assist with. The manager was being very pushy about picking out a car; instead of being understanding about the situation and on top of that kept saying she was very busy and needed to scan in documents. I have worked in customer service for 10+ years and the customer is the main focus when try to run a business. Yet, paperwork seemed more important than getting a better deal for the customer.

I had a great experience, once again. Cory, was patient,attentive, & has a great personality. He went above and beyond, to make sure I was satisfied before I walked out of the door, & explained every detail. Him, and the manager were upbeat and nice, with each & every person who walked through the door, even afterhours, they were dedicated and thorough. Nothing but great and positive energy. Evan from Car Hop was SO nice. When I first came, they didn't have a car for me in my price range which made me a bit discouraged but it only took a week for the staff to reach out to me for a test drive. I was able to drive my car for a long distance to see how it runs and it's been about a month since I first got PB and I love him. Evan was so patient with me and Shari was really sweet to me too. Wow,, You walk into a hot mess, Disorganization.among coworkers, Customers look very confused...one customer sat nearly a half an hour just for someone to take their application

Shari and Carol were the best they both sat down and determined what exactly I was looking for in a vehicle and had me test drive a couple. Once I found the one I liked they kept the ball rolling and made sure I wasn't waiting for excessive lengths of time. So ask for Shari or Carol.

I went with my son in law to look at cars there. He had bought from them before so he thought they would help him out as he was close to finishing off the payments on his current car. After looking at a couple cars he got to the finance part of it. The finance guy told him that he would pay $420 a month for 2 1/2 years (12,600 for a car valued at 8,500). It was a little more than he was paying monthly but the length of the loan was not bad. He asked that I look over the contract and I noticed that it said the length on the paper was for 42 months (now 17,640 or double the value of the car). When we asked the guy about the length he said that the 42 month length was correct and that he isnt that good with math. How can you be negotiating car payments if you are not good with math? We decided to leave but as we were leaving they threw a last ditch try at him as the woman in charge that day told him that his current car was not going to last another week and he really needed to make a deal (it was nearing the end but still running ok). They also said no other dealer would work with him due to his credit and that they were his only hope. We walked away from that and his car lasted another 4 months before he sold it....and he ended up working with another dealer in town who did give him a loan on a better car at much better terms. If you do work with them, please look at all of the paperwork and check all of their numbers before you sign anything.

I called first to ask if they accept Unemployment as my main source of income. Explained over the phone that I also receive child support, but know that isn't enough to qualify me. I knew most (if not all) places don't accept Unemployment as income since it is considered short term income. But, they told me they do accept Unemployment. (Definitely wanted to avoid a hit to my credit if that wasn't going to be accepted. But accepted that I may also not be approved due to my credit and running my credit for that purpose, I was prepared for.) Sat there for an hour (after filling out my application) with the guy (Cory?) telling me that if I'm not approved through bank financing and with the large down payment I had available ($4500+), then I'd be able to get into anything through the buy here pay here program.....all only to be told by Shari that I'm not approved due to having Unemployment! That I need to wait til I go back to work. Ugh!! This is what I figured may keep me from getting a car and asked BEFORE I came in! Complete waste of time! And a hit to my credit as well....for nothing!

I was helped out by a few staff members at the Carhop Aurora location! They were all kind and patient with me as I practically took all day to decide what car was the best choice for me. I had the pleasure of having such an awesome lady helping me by the name of Carol. I must say that everyone working at this location are some of the most down to Earth people you can meet.

If I could give no stars I would. Staff is nice, but I got two cars from them in a matter of three weeks. First one I returned next day as the pistons were hitting. Had a bad engine, so they put me in a pt cruiser. That car dumped oil and had bad engine mounts. Took to their warrenty service shop to be fixed, and it was WORSE when I picked it up!! I am now sitting in the lobby, returning the car. This place is a scam. Don't use carhop .

I walked in and was told to sit down by Cory I waited 30 mins until he came to the table and told me to do a application online and we’ll go from there, I finished my application in five minutes, it took him 20 mins to come back and start looking at my application, he then said there’s four people ahead of me that he has to wait until they review my application, a hour went by and he came over to the desk and said they are reviewing it now, he walked away and proceeded to help other customers, I waited another hour and one of the sisters come over that work there and told me that I needed to be at my job longer for us to proceed, she then walks away and I wait another 20mins for Cory to come back and say I didn’t get approved. I waited five hours to not get approved, but I went right over to DriveTime across the street and got approved so definitely would recommend DriveTime over Carhop. All of Carhops cars are no good! Would not recommend, I have no credit and this was my first car first everything and I got approved at DriveTime! Check them out.

I have been a loyal customer with Carhop since 2015. Recently I purchased a 2010 Nissan Rogue from their Lakewood location and it has been giving me nothing but problems. Just recently I needed to get a new transmission. Carhop said they ordered the transmission on June 15th. The transmission arrived several weeks later and it took the shop about a week to install it. Unfortunately this transmission is ineffective and as of 7/21/21 Im am still out of a vehicle and was not afforded some sort of loaner vehicle while waiting for mine to get fixed. Ultimately very poor communication with me about the vehicle and very poor customer service. Several people ive spoken with have been nothing but rude and inconsiderate during this difficult time. If i were anyone reading this i would definitely look somewhere else if your in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle.

I was in a situation where I could not get a vehicle because I’m 1099 delivery driver, worst than poor credit and a truck that kept breaking down every week regardless of what repairs I made. The last couple years I have been turned away at least 15 times from everywhere I went to. I am happy to say I am now in a reliable vehicle thanks to Sherri and the rest of the team! 😁 I think I should have came here first. 😅

This is the absolute worst car company I have ever had to deal with. They sold me a car that in less than 2 months the transmission went out. Then after almost 3.5 weeks when I picked my car up on a Monday, transmission went out again by that Thursday. Another 2 weeks and after fighting with everyone I got on the phone with they finally decided to postpone my payments to help offset cost. Great except my job then decided to let me go due to not having a car. Fast forward to a few days past the 13 and they disable my car. When I call to see if they can help me I end up talking to the rudest woman. I wish I had never gotten this car or even gone to this dealership. One thing for sure I will never refer anybody that I know to Carhop. Plus I will tell anyone who will listen my story. In hopes that I can help someone else from being screwed over by this company! PS... I haven't even mentioned all the issues with them! Its not worth it, save yourself the headache and go somewhere (ANYWHERE) else!!!

Started off process with Josh. He was very understanding of my situation and need for a vehicle. Helping with the process was Cory both teamed up to get me an excellent deal on my vehicle. If you need a vehicle this is the place to go. This is my first car I purchased through Car Hop but definitely won't be the last.

My husband and I went here and was dealing with a young man named Cory. He did a great job and got us driving out of there the same day in a nice car. He's one of the good guys who went out of his way to get us driving immediately. I would strongly suggest that if you need a good car asap then head over to Carhop on Havana.

Our sales woman was super helpful and professional. My wife is very excited and pleased with her new vehicle! ..... So that above statement was written before we actually signed all the papers for this vehicle we later found out that we were lied to about the miles and the back window after rolling it down never rolled back up this car needed a lot of maintenance I would definitely recommend somewhere else we ended up having to pay thousands of dollars keep this car running definitely not worth it feel like we were taken advantage of and lied to.... we went to the CarHop in Aurora off of Havana avoid at all cost.

Their service is complete garbage, toddlers could better serve and the maturity of the manager?!?! Well there is a reason I said toddlers could do better. IF YOU MUST deal with anyone. Kayla is the ONLY ONE you should do your best to work with. She is professional, respectful, and she communicates clearly and very well. Still, if I were you and I once was, go somewhere else, this place is a joke just go talk to the manager and you will see what I mean.

I have pretty decent credit but they still wanted me to get a cosigner even with a large down payment . Bought a car the following week from a private owner with just my down payment money . This place has a lot of shady stuff going on. They will try to take advantage of people in desperate situations. Beware before you go in, they don't have the inventory to get you anything close to what you want and they will try to sell you vehicles that barely work. Don't go here unless you have no other option.

Liars. Was told I was approved and everything is good, just need to prove address. Proved that then get denied anyway. Wasted half a day getting smoke blown up my rear end. Update: Email sent, but I feel the public should know as well. Within the first 15 minutes of talking with an agent, I explained my situation, from how and where I was living to where I was working, what I was making, as well as very clearly how long I had been working there. All afternoon, the replies were along the lines of "that's no problem" or "we can work with that" or "we'll make it happen", the yes man attitude. It was not until after my credit was pulled and all of my information saved to your system before it was finally told to me, no I don't have enough employment history. Hello? I made my employment history clear from the beginning and then it was no problem but now it is? "We'll take care of you" yeah, took care of getting my info and making a mark on my credit for nothing. I was upfront and honest about every part of my situation down to my credit score before the application was even started, and despite knowing I did not have 90 days of employment history from the beginning, proceed to bait me along the entire process just to deny me for a reason they knew in the beginning. I even tried leaving several times before the application began, and every time got a "we can make that work" type response to bait me to stay and continue. I've been 100% honest and truthful on everything from my end, I would appreciate you upholding the promise made and let's finish our deal, otherwise, I can only be truthful about my experience. Update #2 More lies. No intentions of correcting the wrong, and now even more lies to cover the lies told. Sheri, YOU did my application on the computer in that office. You gained consent on my behalf to run my credit. That consent was granted based on a promise your sales rep Justin made. I did NOT do the application on my phone, because it would not complete. Lie all you want but web browser history and IP addresses don't lie. If you value your credit respect social distance and stay far away from this place. The have no intentions to help, only harm.

He takes the time to understand your situation and he supports you when times get tough. My husband lost his job due to Covid and we were behind on payments. Joseph didn't bully or intimidate us. He wanted to understand why we were late and he worked with us. He was full of grace and he sent us job listings! I didn't understand my payment schedule and he sent me a document and walked through it with me. He is very kind and patient. He takes the time to explain things. He is a pleasure to speak to have as an overseer on an account! If I got another car loan, It would be from this guy. Others have called (outside of this location from a bigger office out of state) about our late payments and they were lowkey confrontational and demanding of things outside of our control. They informed us what we already knew. That we were late on payments and needed to pay. Of course. We know that. But, how are we supposed to do that when we are doing everything we can. I am 20 weeks pregnant and weening my 1 year old son (before I was ready to 😔) my husband has been donating plasma to make our car payment while in between jobs. We are young newly married. This is our first rodeo and Joseph actually helped us grab the bull by the horns! Not by saying in a belittling and presumptuous tone, "You have a late payment, when are you going to pay" (Thanks captain obvious to those types) But he helped us figure out how to ride the darn bull instead of pointing the bull out 😒 Because of his support, we won't have to take a hit to our credit report and my family will have a better chance at buying a home and creating wealth to pass down to our children. Extremely rasict I went in with my aunt and mom. We get asked if we're from the same house hold. Then we were told to filled out a form and they will pick the car that fits my credit. THIS LADY said we had to sit like a school bus and be behind one another 6ft for social distance while she didn't properly wore her mask she had it on her chin. She unsettled my mother so much we stoped looking at cars for whole day. There was other people sitting next to each other and stuff it was a ridiculous experience

Was out cruising around looking at cars today and though I'd check this place out. Walked the lot and chexked out their small selection. Cars were dirty inside and out. Not to mention many of the cars had ripped interior. Left without speaking to anyone as I think it might be better just to buy a car of the same quality outright instead of financing and having payments.
