This was my first time buying a fire arm and they went above and beyond to help me through the process. They were the MOST knowledge people I’ve meet when it comes to firearms and all sorts of products. They were patient and made me feel great about my purchase. Joe the owner helped me personally and if I ever need anything he will be my go to. I couldn’t recommend this place, and the people that work there, more. Thanks for the help guys! Don't go here. They are shady and don't give you all the info when pawning a weapon. Didn't even give my receipt and when i asked can i pay it off instead of wasting my money they said its already in the computer. Really went down hill since it was sold. Never again.

To reply to the previous statements from a very disgruntle employee. That has written false and defamation/slanderous statements on Google. We are currently seeking legal action. Please disregard any and all false statements that has been written. The company is number one in the community and has been for 42 years, known for our outstanding customer service. Thank you!

Bought 2 guns there before, never again. They're wwwwaaaayyyyy too overpriced. Taking advantage of the black community they're in. Plus they charged me like $75 to transfer a weapon I bought online. I ride right passed that place. Hopefully the new management is a whole lot better.

Horrible! Sold me a used gun in a new box. Owner of this store should go to jail. He said its too bad but he can't do anything. $700 cash gone. No exchange or return. Didn't even know that this type of robbery was possible.

So me and my boyfriend pawned a gun and they said it was only worth $200. We missed the deadline to pay the pawn interest. We called them up and they said they would allow us to pay the pawn as long as we paid two months. No problem. We Called today (the day we are coming in to pay) to make sire we have the correct amount and they said that the NEW MANAGEMENT said that if we wanted the gun we would have to pay their retail price of $500 because the manager put it on the floor. Crooks and shiesters; and thats the NEW MANAGEMENT!!! Will NEVER do business with them again!!!! And I'm about to contact the BBB and issue a complaint.

DON’T BUY FROM THIS PLACE I BROUGHT A PS4 Got home the controller was broken and it was Locked accounts on the system and when I cashed they claimed nothing was wrong with it when they tested it out so basically accusing me of lying when this is honestly my first time buying anything from a pawn shop and by far the Worst experience.

I wouldn't pawn a gun here again. When I went back with cash, I was asked to fill out paper work to get my pistol back, and filled in my current address instead of the one on my ID. I was told I couldn't get the gun back until I updated my ID...the same ID I used when I pawned the gun. I asked if I could just fill out a new form and was told the "feds are keeping a close eye on us". This was total b/s as I returned a few days later with a hat on, same ID in hand and just filled out a new form that matched my ID. The guy helping me the 2nd time made sure to let me know that it was actually his gun, and that he was just selling it back to me. Shady AF.

First off, they're not racist at all.. however they are really stern and straight to the point. I don't know why we black people always think stern white people are racist. They're like that to everyone... You all must not have noticed all of the black employees that work there either. I've lived in this neighborhood all my life, I have three guns and I've purchased them all here. My wife purchased her gun here, and my dad did as well. Good people, knowledgeable about guns with a very nice selection. But again, stern. Being an army grunt myself I rather like it like that.. and love this place.

Went in previous night and had a pleasant experience. The older woman there is very friendly and helpful. I saw a Rolex I was interested in and asked the gentleman in charge about a partial trade for some of my watches and cash for the Rolex. He wasn't adverse to the idea and told me to bring watches back the next day, which I did. The owner was there and she was rude and abrasive towards me almost instantly. Before I even had a chance to finish taking watches out of bag she was saying "Nope, Nope" before I even had a chance to explain previous nights conversation. She was condescending and patronizing. I said okay, what's the bottom line? To which she said- what did the manager tell you last night? I said we never discussed a specific price, to which she rudely responded- He told me that he did, making me out as a liar or something. She says, so what you want to pay cash? I said I would depending on price. She comes back with a price just a few hundred dollars less than a brand new Rolex- exact same model from an Authorized Dealer. I said I'm only willing to spend a certain amount to which she said ok, and I went on my way. I was heated at the way she treated me, but I stayed calm and left. If you want to be talked down to and berated, and basically called a liar, this is the place for you.

This is one of the best pawn shops in Decatur great customer service and they have been around for years. I bought a gun, plenty of accessories and ammo from them and never had a problem with anything. They also have a great selection when it comes to ammo. They also put gun parts on my gun for a low price and fast. I suggest everyone to go to Candler Road Pawn shop.
