Customer service is great. I enjoyed speaking with Mercedes. She was great help and gave me couple options about taking money out of my savings account. I wish there were more options to do it online then go to the branch though. But overall good experience.

Adriana, was very helpful she understood exactly what I needed to be done. It was later on in the afternoon , so it did get pretty busy but she made me feel like I was the only person in the bank what times being hard as it is right now she made me feel very loved. And there was a purpose for me here at this moment for her being a branch teller I felt that she was more than that at the moment. I have been using Brightstar since I was in high school. Always great service! Use them to get a car by myself in college, with excellent interest rate. My most recent experience with Philip made me decide to write a review. His customer service was superb, he definitely goes above and beyond for his clients. Definitely will continue to be a member.

Latonya was the individual who helped. Wow. Such fantastic customer service. She was so understanding of my situation and took the time to get all the details so she could relay it to those that needed it. Friday, May 13th, I had pleasure of speaking with Christian, who effortless resolve the problem with my card. Having spoken with two other people and repeatedly giving the same info and not getting the issue resolved. The courteous and professional services given by Christian was outstanding.

Mercedes’ was patient , thorough , friendly engaging and Kind. I called to check on a fraud notice. She helped me with that issue, getting a new card, start to have my statements started again and tell me how to get a credit card.

I have been trying to refinance my car, i spoke to a lady who called me at 9.30 this morning. I did not have my vin number handy so she told me she would call me back at 11,30...unfortunately she must have been busy. I called and waited 40 minutes and finally left my call back number. A young lady named Rosita Silverchery called me back and thank God for her. She was patient, very informed and walked me through signing on to my small account. She was wonderful and taught this almost 80 gentleman to appreciate and how to sign in to my account on the computer. I cant say enough about Customer Associate Rashida who is not only professional and knowledgeable, but extremely efficient, and she goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Kudos to Martina!!! Ten star review!! I do not know why it is showing my son's picture and name above because this is my account, however I wanted to do a review of my experience. Martina was absolutely wonderful. She answered all of my questions, explained everything in detail, realized that they had not ordered my checks for my savings account so she did that for me, she was so personable and so kind and took her time with me. I cannot say the same for the experience upon opening the account. It was rather robotic with generalized answers and not answers to my particular questions. No personalization.. I'm helping my elderly Mom manage her finances which includes a nice Money Market account with BrightStar Credit Union. Our first step was to add me to the account that was very easy thanks to assistance from the BSCU staff. Most recently I had questions about the best way to access the money and how to "handle" the two accounts. Alan was very knowledgeable and made suggestions that could potentially save us money should we need to withdraw funds to cover medical bills. Much thanks to all the staff who've helped me so far! Mercedes was extremely helpful! I needed trace numbers for a deposit at a withdrawal that I didn’t recognize in my account, and she got them for me and returned my call the following morning with the numbers. She was extremely helpful, she checked to see if there was anything else that could help identify these transactions, and made a suggestion as to what to do if I can’t figure out where they came from.

BSCU once again is very responsive and efficient in standing with and by its members, in their dealings with merchants. I recommend using their debit or credit cards especially if one is a Senior Citizen. Keep your receipts, BSCU will maintain a record of the transactions done with their debit/credit cards, for easy access online. They’ll go to bats for you, in a fair and impartial way, if you dispute a charge. 👍🏾 Thanks Ms Rashida, and I am so grateful to you, Ms Janice, forgive me for turning the spotlight on you 🙏🏾

I had an extremely helpful BSCU customer service agent named Bria who helped me resolve my BSCU online access issues. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate her at 12 at least. She was polite and gracious as well as extremely competent in identifying and resolving my issue. However, I cannot be as positive about BSCU in general. I discovered that if a customer has not accessed their online account in 90 days, their online account will be purged. The customer is not notified, or changed to paper statements or communications after the purge; they must Enroll (as though they are brand new customers) in order to see their online statements/account information. Customers are not informed when they are purged, and the online messaging does not explain they've been purged, it just says your password is incorrect. (Even when only entering your user ID, the message is your password is incorrect.) A notification should be sent to the customers when they are purged from the online system. In addition the message provided when trying to access the system should be clear - if a customer whose record has been purged is trying to sign-in the message should explain that they must Enroll again. BSCU does not provide any online support when their offices are closed. This is kind of an oxymoron, considering that most people access online accounts when businesses are typically closed IE nights and weekends. Therefore this really inadequate and incorrect messaging causes their customers to have to wait until office hours during the week to attempt to resolve their issues. Once the office is are open you can expect to be on hold for an extremely long time as the customer service representatives try to support all of the customers who could get no resolution when the office was closed.

We have used BrightStar (formerly Broward Teacher's CU) for more than 40 years and their customer service has always been top notch! We speak with a REAL person (no AI) who is always knowledgeable & helpful. The last customer representative we spoke with, Mercedes, was excellent. Even though we no longer live in Broward Cty we continue to use BrightStar for our our primary accounts via their online banking app.

Alan, was very helpful in getting me out of being locked out of my account. I was on hold for 21 minutes, then I accepted them calling me, waited half-hour, was then on hold for another 15 minutes. However, both Alan and Mercedes were very open to my needs.

The service for the brightstar in Lauderhill is horrible, the teller are not a problem, the inside customer service is the issue one lady told me brightstar didn't offer 2 overdraft waiver per year which in fact brightstar does , I had to go to the brightstar in coral springs to get proper treatment ,
