Blackhawk Bank Broad St, Beloit

God forbid anyone should need this bank to send THEM a paper via snail mail. I've been waiting a month for a form to authorize transfers from my savings to checking. I've called customer service numerous times. They dug in their heels because they want to send the paper via a secure email and I want it sent via USPS. Today they tell me that I now have to call someone else and refused to tell that someone else to call me. Guess I am THEIR customer service.

Updating my review from a year ago. Still. The slowest drive-thru EVER. Especially the business lane. You think they’d treat people with a sense of urgency. Just left their drive thru commercial lane. Literally no one else there. Gave the young woman with an afro my deposit and she vanished! After 10 minutes I honked, nothing. Then I finally unhooked my seatbelt and knocked on the glass, she just looks at me, I ask if everything is okay and she just says “it’s the machine” and I wait for another damn near 5 minutes!! She’s lucky no one else was there otherwise they’d be lined out to the street, my god!!! No sense of urgency and zero hospitality. When I have time I drive out to the Cranston road location, way better service.

Terrible banking service, they make everything slow and difficult. Almost seems like it's on purpose so that you can't access your account. Making any changes takes at least 10 days via mail. You have to remember extra login credential information so simply logging in to the online banking is difficult. Also their web interface is hard to use and navigate. Do not recommend.

Best customer service. My teller was Beautiful, Helpful and Friendly. I am seriously considering opening an account. Way Better than The Machesney Park branch.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Horrible bank! Promotes identify theft by now scanning your drivers license into customers accounts/data base. No need to do so. This is not good business but risking my personnel information. Manage LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 1m

They keep your money so secure you can't hardly use it. They advertise that Zelle is conveniently located in the banking app but I can't even send enough money to my landlord per MONTH to pay my rent, nonetheless pay it all in one day. Can't authorize to send a higher amount either. I am so tired of all the hoops you have to jump through with Blackhawk. I can't wait to switch.

I been with Blackhawk bank since 2000 and they have treated me good and with respect. Love that they keep up with all the modern tech and apps. Drive thru and customer service is way better than some other banks that I been to. All Branches have great handicap parking and accessibility. As with any other bank fee and other charges goes as the bank goes however I find they are reasonable.

The drive-thru tellers need to take some sort of hospitality course, or better yet, just have them cross train with the Cranston branch. Talking to their tellers in the drive-thru is like talking to a wall. You say 'hello' they just stare at you, you say 'have a good day' they just stare at you. I swear, I have to hold back from saying "hang in there" every. time. At first it really bugged me, now it just makes me laugh. Jobs are haaaarrrd... :'(

I'd avoid this at all costs, there are plenty of options available to you as a personal or business consumer. Don't let these "good ole' boys" sell you... I estimate 90% of the words and promises given to me and my company were blatant lies in an effort to gain the interest revenue. Run..... .. fast

0 stars if it was an option! Horrible bank, horrible customer service. You have questions and they can’t give straight answers. Never coming back again and definitely do not recommend to anyone.
