Bethpage Federal Credit Union N Franklin St, Hempstead

The customer service is usually spectacular, but lately it has been terrible. Yesterday I went to drop off a check, and when I got at the drive-thru, it said “open,” and it was 4:55. The bank closes at 5:00, and it usually takes a min or two to deposit a check. After the car ahead of me left, the customer rep decided to shut the blinds on me without saying anything. I’m there like excuse, excuse me and nothing. I went inside to talk to a customer rep; She’s giving the worst attitude while I'm trying to explain my situation to them. The “security guard” is rushing to close the door on my face. I decided not to make a big deal out of it and went to my car. I’m at the parking lot in my CAR, waiting for my mom to get off work to drop the check at the ATM. The “security guard” decides he wants to come outside and watch me in the parking lot for about 40 mins. This branch is very unprofessional and disrespectful. The security guard me me feel uncomfortable and I shouldn’t have felt that way. I’ve been to multiple branches, and this has been by far the worst one. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

they froze a $8,000 check and my account for 2 weeks until the person the wrote the check came in to verify they wrote it , i got the check verified i can no longer use baisic services and i have to come to this branch every time i want my money i nicely asked for all 24k of my money to be taken out in cash so i can take it to chase since i’m on bank house arrest

Worst bank ever super slow. They need a better training it was a young lady with no name making faces like she was doing us a favor for helping the customers. I wish they have a better service.

If I can give zero star, I will. Worst customer service. Super slow. They don't have any urgency but we do have. Nobody wants to waster their time sitting for an hour just to see customer service there. But the people working there wasting time and making hourly money. Comon guys speedup.

Always go to fcu never go to banks. Banks charge fees on top of fees. Chase charged me 90$ in fees and after fighting with me gave me 45$ back. I should have sued. Bethpage FCU has always been a pleasure to work with. Just keep in mind that out of long island you have to deal with affiliated banks as they only have local branches

My experience today compelled me to write a review. The 3 stars is based on my two visits at this location. Last year I’ll give you 5 stars but today I’m giving you 1 lone star. The customer service rep was excellent a year ago and I should of rated her then. Now today I’m coming in feeling positive then the rep I’m dealing with put me in a bad mood. I don’t like lies. I’m not new to this and so I was treated as if I didn’t know better. After leaving I made a few calls and accomplished what I set out to do. The service I wanted was complete with one phone call but this “person” didn’t want to help me. She fed me bs. Call customer service. Don’t go to Hempstead, they act funny. When all I want to do is to transfer money.

This bank is the worse the least professional bank I ever deal with in my life. Their staff really did not know how to open a business open! Very time consuming and they always want the client spend more time to work on. Do not provide even standard service to customer. Very bad experience.

This Credit Union I will say is"OK".. It holds my money and gives it back when I need it, and takes my Job's Direct Deposits. However, I can rarely access Mt account online, ALWAYS A PROBLEM, My Branch itself is NEVER OPEN it seems, and LAST BUT NOT AT ALL LEAST, I cannot use this Bank Acount On the "EXPERIAN CREDIT UNION" Website to do a "BOOST" for M Credit Score!! It doesnt take Bethpage Federal Credit Union, whatsoever!! Truthfully, im going to switch Banks by they end of tho week.. I've had tbis account I believe for almost a year and there is absloutley nothing special about it AT ALL!! No Perks whatsoever. I just enrolled in this Bank truthfully because it was close to my house by, I'm about to Switch!!

My time here is usually short if I have my information together. Sometimes long lines can't be helped but this time I was in and out in a Jiff. I was able to utilize the machine in the lobby. Other times I will wait to speak with a representative and I appreciate their help every time.

I've had a account with this branch for many years. The staff is always helpful and courtsey. I love banking here right in the town where i live. The location is ideal with plenty of free parking.
