I had better service at the bigger banks like capital One and Discover. They charge so many fees and interest charges and they aren’t lenient, especially when you miss one payment for the first time. I have banked with them for years but the fees are ridiculous. Other banks have better overdraft protections and they are more understanding to your situation. I would look at other banks before coming to this one. I plan on closing my accounts soon and transferring banks

Great credit union that offers great rates, customer service and gives back to it's members and community, I personally have had multiple car loans and a personal loan taken out and always had great customer service and rates on each of them! Christine helped me in my drive thru service today which was a quick and pleasant experience! I will be setting up a savings account for my newborn child thanks to talking with her. I recommend to all my friends and family

I've recently switched banks to Bay Area Credit Union. I was a bit hesitant but was ensured by Devin that BACU was the right choice when it came to customer service and products. He seemed the most knowledgeable out of everyone iv talked to. On top of that he didn't make me feel just like any old customer he made me feel important. That's hard to come by now a days. Thanks to him I don't regret my decision and don't see myself switching institutions anytime soon.

I've been a member of the Bay Area Credit Union family for over a decade. Never have I once thought of leaving. All of the staff are friendly and helpful but I would like too highlight two ladies that stand out to me. Christine Briones has been with BACU for many years and has always done a wonderful job. Sarah Derr is new to the team and is as professional as she is courteous. With good people like that there is little doubt in my mind that BACU IS #1!... P.S. Call Mrs. Derr, Tri-Sarah-Tops... inside joke 😊

We have been members back to when it was the Sohio CU. Have always had great experiences with everything we’ve done! Recently refinanced our home with no issues. Always enjoy talking to Christina! Friendly and does her job well. Thanks to all!!

Always willing to help, whether in person, through the drive-thru, or over the phone. Feels like a very personal experience every time! Anytime I have had an issue I get personal follow up. Christine and the rest of the staff have been great to deal with!

Bay Area Credit Union is an amazing place to bank.The staff is very friendly and super helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new or better banking establishment. Brie is probably the best, most helpful and beautiful human I've ever met. I love her!

I needed a personal loan to pay off a few things and get my monthly expenses down. Sara was an amazing help in making sure that we tackled the most expensive ones that were going to cost the most in the long run. She was and still is very professional and very prompt with responses and information. I will definitely be going here for the future if I ever need a loan again. We left Ohio in 2014 but never left Bay Area Credit Union. We now live in California and find no reason to switch financial institutions. Our accounts are fully available through It'sMe24 online banking and ATM fees get refunded. The CU is never more than a click or phone call away. We always turn to Bay Area first for our financial needs. Thanks Bay Area, and Boomer your mascot, for all you do for your members and the community at large.
