Bank of the West Capitol Mall, Sacramento

This location is only open to 4 pm no communication and website was saying open till 5pm wasted parking fee and found out closed at 4pm pretty sure all of the branches run a closed at 4pm unhelpful to working customers timeframe. How about 9am till 6pm we all c ant take a lunch break in midtown and drive around looking for parking on one way streets

Bank of the West has a wonderful staff of kind and helpful persons. Their locations are very clean, comfortable, friendly and beautiful. This includes their other branch in Elk Grove, CA. If only every other business were to conduct the same level of customer service, the world would be a much friendlier one. Note: The Capital Mall hours of operation as listed upon Google Maps is incorrect. I've informed the Capital Mall branch manager and know they will make corrections. However, it never hurts to kindly inform them of this. Below are the correct operating days and hours. Open: M-F 9 AM - 5 PM, Closed on weekends.

Visited this branch today with a recurring issue...the atm give you only 5 seconds to retrieve your cash otherwise it'll suck it inside and no money...happened to me twice within 2 mos... I keep several thousands of dlls balance here...Today took the time and came to talk a banker and this guy " relationship banker" name Solaiman Noor ,he made me feel so frikin Unwelcome ,like if I was trying to rob the bank; when in this case is the other way around... Im financing a $100 k rig and I always keep really good balance on my acct...but the ATM shortchange me with 40 dlls first time then 20 dlls second time...you will do something about it...right?...well...once I pay the loan ...no more Bank of the West...

Bank of west online services waiting time 45mins. Does anyone one works on online service.

Very frustrating bank for business. When setting up Quikbooks with my bookkeeping company, I had to give them my personal password for my entire banking system in order to setup Quikbooks. Ridiculous. In addition, they have very limited branches, extremely inconvenient.

Horrible bank. I had a 3 month long reacuring issue where BOTW bounced incoming transfers from PayPal back to PP. Each time this would tie up serveral thousand dollars in digital limbo for several days. Tracking numbers, account numbers, routing numbers, and transaction IDs were all verified from the transferring end of the transaction. But each time BOTW would return the transaction with an error code the stating there was no account. When attempting to resolve this to BOTW staff, ( both online and in the branch ) they would claim there was no transaction visible from their end and therefore the transfer was never made. “Talk to PayPal” PayPal would then verify all the transactions and the error code from BOTW and say “Talk to bank of the west“ This would go on for hours and hours. Because BOTW could not resolve the issue after 3 months and multiple phone calls and trips to the bank branch, I requested to close to close my account and withdrew my funds. I then asked for a cashiers check and was told by the staff. “Sorry, we can’t issue a cashiers check, because you no longer have an account....” Worst banking customer service I have ever experienced, period.

Excellent customer service from friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with free parking for botw customers.
