Azura Credit Union Sw Arrowhead Rd, Topeka

Azura was once upon a time Rubber Workers credit union for Goodyear as well as Educational Credit Union. These were strong institutions with great service. Once they started all of the merges and changes these last four years or so, their customer service was starting to slide. Since the CV-19 experience, they completely threw customer service out the window. They literally don't care anymore. It is difficult to speak to a person on the phone. They have kept many lobbies closed. They don't even want to use real people at the drive through. Listen friends, they just don't care about us as customers anymore.

I've been with Azura for going on 3 years and they are really great! They always greet with a smile and help with anything you need within there means. Thank you Azura I'm so happy I switched from bank of America!

Decent bank but I do feel the loan process is pretty discriminatory and unfair. I've been with Azura for many years, paid off 2 car loans (I was approved through the grace of God, I think) with them.....yet I'm not approved for a small/personal loan or a home loan??? Isn't the point of a credit union supposed to be for the little people? The regular, hard working folks that are just trying to make ends meet for their families? I'd expect Azura to have more of a helping hand, especially during COVID.

Julie was fantastic. I called hoping to open a Savings account for my daughter. Julie had talked me into refinancing my vehicle and I'm deciding on moving my husband and I's checking account over. She was very prompt and had a very fun personality that just shined through the phone. Made everything seem so effortless. Highly recommend Azura!

Azura Credit Union has continued to be there for my family and myself time and time again. When we got into trouble with one of those shady speedy cash places Azura bailed us out and helped us keep our car, nowadays they are helping us make ends meet from time to time with small loans and will be financing my first time home loan as well. I will never use a big national bank again, while they deny me and charge me fees and don’t remember my name, Azura has been wonderful. 5stars isn’t enough, without Azura my life would be ruined by my own bad decisions.

Horrible and dishonest company. Do NOT trust them for a loan. Opening a lawsuit for their fraudulent activity. They held 6k of my money hostage. I had a car loan through them. Car was totaled & insurance gave a 30k check to pay out. Azura still reported my monthly car payments late. They got more money in that 1 check than they ever would have gotten from me in 4 months. Azura never informed me in writing of a remaining balance. Only reported late payments to credit bureau(all the while had received 30 thousand dollars already mind you) Logic and professionalism is lacking here.

We recently bought a house. Chrystal Rippe was our loan officer. She made the entire process so easy and answered any questions we had. Definitely recommend! We love azura!

First I go through one Azura drive through to get $9000, they said they could only give me $5000..... Then I drive 10 minutes to go through another drive through when I get there they told me i had to go inside..... When I got inside there was 1 cashier 9 people in line half an hour I finally got helped over an hour total trying to get my money

Went this afternoon to open a savings account and make a payment towards a new car loan. I did not get the name of the rude and un-helpful woman that I had the displeasure of interacting with but she was very condescending and bitter and I chose to make the drive across town to a different location instead. 7 months later and this location is still horrible as ever!

I shifted here from BOA because they would charge for EVERYTHING, but now, Azura is getting that way. They changed their name from Educational, I guess it was bad luck to be named for a Teacher's Union in a GOP state. But then they stopped offering 10 dollar bills in the ATMs, because it was being used so much that the machine was running out of bills over the weekends. I would think that if the customers use the heck out of a service and you are the only bank in town that offers it, it would indicate that your customers NEED it. Guess they don't care about that. I was told by the teller to stop being a baby about it. It was an important thing to me. And now they have a new online service, called Popmoney, that charges fees if Members transfer funds in between their accounts. They are turning out to be just like the Banks. I called Envista and their systems are the same way. SO much for Credit Unions being better.
