Worst pawn shop I've ever been too! I live close by so I usually go here first when I need cash. There's a grouchy old lady who never wants what you're pawning, or when she does it'll be the lowest offer around. As much as I hate big chains, Cash America right down the road is way better.

I rated it 2 because the times I've purchased guns here (y'all can look my name up in your system 😉), the older gentleman behind the counter was very nice and polite with showing me guns and and answering questions. However the last few times I've walked in recently, the older lady behind the counter has been very rude and snide with remarks and answers. Not sure what happened but catch the staff on a good day I guess.

Y’all, if I could give them 10 stars I would. I walked in five minutes before closing and they didn’t turn me away when I asked if they would mind testing my gold. I had just come from the worst experience ever at Cash America down the road and came across this couple who were so friendly and knowledgeable. Cash america cut into my gold chain and pendant numerous times to test it just to turn it away even though they gave me a loan on the exact chain two months prior. This couple tested my gold and saw no reason to turn it away. And they didn’t have to shave into my chain to know it was real. The customer service was great!! I won’t ever go anywhere to pawn again, except for right here. They truly provided a great experience.

The only place I deal with. They're all friendly. They really do treat you like family. And when you're late on payments they work with you. I've been with them for years.

We had just got my mother’s earrings back on December 11th (TODAY) and the earrings have a lot of ear jam on it and a big dent. The clasp is now bent to where you have to steadily put it through the clip. This is sad. The lady said she took care of it but has been wearing them while on the shelf. This is 14k gold. Will be calling soon as they open tomorrow!! Poor business. Don’t trust them with your valuables if you know you’re getting them back. They abused the fact that THESE DONT belong to them. Sick. If you going to wear it, clean them at least. She know who she is.

I took my Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 laptopin to pawn today & was highly amused @ the total ignorance displayed! I plan on getting it back out of pawun within 2 weeks & was wanting $100. The rude ugly old hag behind the counter looked it up & said there was one for $80 on ebay. I felt violated as I paid over $100 @ another pawn shop across town not 3 months prior! So I proceeded outside& looked it up by the model #(you would assume that would be the best method to insure accuracy). My inquery on ebay resulted in disappointment when I glanced what the snide old lady said! However it was the only one going so cheap!!! So I revisited the item & noticed on the 2nd picture, the screen was hooked up to something! I knew it! That price was for just the screen!!! I politely went in to inform the over paid employee of her negligence & offer proof. This stubborn, lazy, woman simply could not even admit to her mistake!!! So Austell Gold & Pawn owner you just made your business look foolish, uneducated & ridiculous! Model #P25T red, look it up & see for yourself!!!
