I recently bought a used car from Auburn VW. I Kevin Bender was fantastic to work with and made the process super smooth. I’ve bought my fair share of cars and this may have been the easiest. I was able to provide my info over the phone and when I arrived the paperwork was ready to go. It took no more than 30 minutes from when I arrived to wrap things up and be out the door. I appreciate that Kevin was able to handle the whole process from start to finish. No need to go deal with a separate person for financing and a sales pitch on extended warranties. No games! We had an awesome experience buying a used car from this dealership. We’ve always bought cash cars, so this was our first time financing a car. When we arrived a representative named Bryan helped us test drive and tour the lot. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and he didn’t make the process uncomfortable. He didn’t pressure us, but he took us seriously and answered all our questions. After we picked our car, he handed us over to Brandon K. who helped us finance and understand our options. We came in with a pre-approval from our bank, but when we went to finalize the deal our bank changed the conditions of the deal. Brandon understood the new perimeters made us uncomfortable, and with our permission, he extensively compared lenders and gave us a great new recommendation. We submitted a new application with his suggested credit union who instantly approved us with low credit, a much smaller down payment, and a better interest rate. He made the process easy and comfortable. We never felt judged or pressured during this process. We’d driven 4+ hours to car hunt and looked at many cars at many dealerships. We had the best experience and found the best car here at this lot. We also thoroughly enjoyed walking out to our new car parked by the doors, detail cleaned and shampooed, with a full tank of gas. Brandon offered to take a picture of us together by our new car, which was a great touch. He was very easy to talk to and accommodating, offering us water and a phone charger. We highly recommend working with him when you come here.

I went into Auburn VW in late April with my eyes on a CPO Golf GTI. I made an appointment with Kevin Bender, and straightaway he was courteous, kind, and professional. Throughout the test drive and sales process there was absolutely zero pressure to purchase the car or any inclusions. He gave me time to think, and I can tell he wanted me in the car of my dreams, not just a car that would earn a sale. Everything was 100% honest and transparent. When the purchase went through, I was referred to Loren Williams for a delivery who was exceptionally kind and equally professional. He showed me the features of the car, made sure my questions were answered and that I was 100% happy with my purchase. I spoke with him on the phone later on, and he invited me to a quick chat in person which I have to take him up on. I look forward to further sales and service business with Auburn Volkswagen, and I can guarantee that when it comes time to trade in my GTI, I'll be buying another car from them. Auburn Volkswagen does not take business for granted, they genuinely earn it. Jack was great. I went in looking for a Jetta and he showed me a Passat at the same price range. Much better deal. They have a good selection of new and used autos on the lot. I was contacted by Auburn Volkswagen through Kelly Blue Book because I was checking to see what the trade in value was. A salesman asked when I could come down so that they could give me a quote for my car. He seemed snarky through his texts and when I stated that I was going to list my car privately first (and mentioned the high end of trade-in value), he said “well that’s the retail price so we are unable to match that GOOD LUCK getting that ****!” The price is what he was being unkind about. It is no where near the retail price because I have been watching and seeing what they are selling for. Who knows if I get anywhere near this but either way, he didn’t have to be so unkind. Bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t buy or sell to them at this point.

Just bought my 2nd VW at Auburn VW. Both times I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jack Dorn and both times have been great experiences. Quick, responsive, no games and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I was in the market for a new car, and was pretty sure I wanted a VW Taos or Tiguan. After bouncing around through a couple of other dealers who didn't have what I wanted, or didn't seem to be listening, I ended up back at Auburn VW -- where my wife and I have been buying cars since 2001. Buck Joubert took the time to listen to what I was looking for, and found the right car for me. Buck was patient with my never-ending stream of questions and emails, and when I did make the trip over to the dealership, he was respectful of my time. This was a very simple, efficient transaction for me. I should have learned my lesson and just started at Auburn VW....

I own two VWs, and used to bring several others there in the past, but the service department quality has seriously declined over the years. The communication has become almost non-existent while they test out a new online invoice system, and a key I ordered has now taken over a month. By contrast, the Puyallup VW dealer answered the phone right away and says the key will be 3-4 business days. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I got a CPO Golf GTI at Auburn VW and it definitely the easiest and most straightforward experience I've had. It was a Sunday afternoon when I called in, took a test drive with the GTI, and drove off with it only a few hours later. Didn't even have to be pushed into a finance room halfway into the process like at most dealers which was a pretty nice surprise. And shoutout to John Lillig! You were a pleasure to work with and I appreciate someone who can keep things straightforward and honest. This is the only time I went in to get a car and walked out having BOTH a great time and a great car without being exhausted from the experience.

John Lillig was a blessedly no-nonsense, strait forward delight. People with integrity are hard to find, but this dealership was forthright and clear, no upsell or surprise charges. A great place to buy a VW. Got a good deal, too!

Car buying is not usually a wonderful experience, but they made it one for us! We had asked about a car before we got there. When we arrived they had it ready for us to test drive. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The finance office even went out of their way to help us with our interest rate! Definitely recommend these guys!

This is the third time I have worked with Jack Dorn @ Auburn VW. When we needed to replace a malfunctioning car of a different brand we went to VW because we knew we could trust working with Jack. I test drove at a neighboring dealership to compare to the Atlas we ultimately chose and they did not follow through on their promises (I had asked for a follow up email). Jack was very patient with me and I was able to get all the financing done in addition to my purchase in a short period of time. I can always trust Jack to give me an honest opinion and to recommend a car/model that fits my needs. I have done some repairs over the last decade as well with Auburn VW and Rod in the service department is completely trustworthy. They have great communication and are very straight forward. Their loaners are very convenient and make getting repairs much more simple for a working mom.

Michael was a superb and very patient ;) salesman, he was never pushy, just straight forward and factual. Sure, his job is to sell cars and make a commission, but his approach was done tactfully not tacky. I also very much appreciated that he was with us from the meet and greet to when it came down to the financing part, never did he pass us off to someone else. The vibe was relaxed, no one was frantically running around.I should also mention how great Austin was at communicating with me via text prior to the sale, even though I didn't get a chance to meet him, he was the one who stayed in touch with me during the week until I was able to drive the 2 hours to actually see the car and to let me know the car was still available as I had an awful experience the week before with another dealership (I drove 3 1/2 hrs. plus a ferry ride to only be told the car wasn't there after they assured me just hours before that it was..Rairdon of Kirkland). Great company. Just helped my daughter buy a Tiguan. Last spring I'd bought similar vehicle from the VW dealer in Tacoma, starts with a L. Such a huge difference, will never go anywhere else again for a VW. Michael was amazing and made the process so easy. Literally took 5 minutes to get in and out door with new Tiguan after we decided what we wanted and price. I went to Volkswagen with the intention of getting a bigger car/SUV. When my brother, my 8 month old child and I walked in the dealership we where give a warm welcome by Loren. I let him know that I was looking to trade in my current 15 Tiguan for something bigger for a growing family. Loren let me know that he would get a sale rep to help. There was a warm pass off the Michael the sale rep. Michael was very helpful and insightful. I let him know what I was working with, what I was looking for. I didn’t feel pushed or forced in to looking at anything or buying. After about 3-4 hour later they got me in a brand new 2022 Tiguan. With 2yr service, 1 yr of roadside assistance include and other extras. Michael walked me over the Loren which we met at the beginning we came full circle you can say. They moved both car to the service area (under cover) help me put both car seats in the new car made sure everything worked and showed me the difference between the two cars. Helped put the child safety locks on the back doors. Both Loren and Michael are awesome to work with. And I would recommend this dealership to anyone that need a new car.

Overall a good decent experience at VW (Dwight & Austin were great). Was looking at a pre-owned 2013 Toyota Sienna (VIN 5tdkk3dc4ds302354). Test drove it, liked just about everything about the vehicle, took it over to the Toyota dealer to just do my due diligence and have a pre-purchase inspection. Toyota said the timing plate was leaking (estimated at 4000 to fix...lots of labor apparently). Wasn't expecting that of course, but took the news back to VW who couldn't justify fixing it (not sure I really blame them). Leaving a 3-star because of the response of the manager of pre-owned which was basically: - I'll have no problem re-listing the vehicle as is - I've only been doing this 30 years, but what do I know? Well, I'm not really sure what you know & the fact that you weren't willing to guarantee that the warranty would now cover that part (eg now a known issue) left too many questions un-answered. Oh, and the side walls of the tires were showing signs of cracking. I've posted pics of the inspecting results should they be helpful for anyone.

From scheduling my test drive to driving off in my new-to-me certified preowned car, I had a super smooth experience at Auburn VW. Jack was an awesome salesman who went out of his way to get me all the service history he could and answer all my questions in detail. As a young woman, I also really appreciated doing business with Jack - at other dealerships I was asked if I needed to run things by my husband (I don’t- he doesn’t care about cars as much as I do) and was literally called “princess” to my face, so it was super refreshing that Jack never once made me feel like I was being treated differently for my gender. I bought a brand new 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan with 7 years warranty,l got flat tires after 3 months l bought it, and the engine light was turned on twice in 4 months. l had never had a car accident!!!!! But Some parts are even broken, and they didn’t cover anything for me, they told me that l have to spent at least over $580 to fix it. This is shouldn’t happen to a new car without having a accident!!!!! If you don’t fix my car for free this time, I’m gonna return the car and talk to your manager!!!!

But after driving it compared with other vehicles we were looking at we are confident and happy with our choice. Luda made the experience painless and was one of the reasons we made the purchase. Renting a Jetta from Auburn VW was nothing other than a supreme experience. Their digital sales rep, Austin, delivered it himself to my home address. My wife had found a very nice 2012 Golf listed on the Auburn VW site. Next day in the evening, we loaded up in the car and drove down the 90ish minutes for a test drive. While the sales person she had initially spoke to was not available, he gave her the name of a sales person we could talk to, Dwight. When we arrived, Dwight came up to the front and quickly got us on the road for a test drive. The car was in extremely great shape, solid, and looked great, too. We loved it (for my daughter, who was there to test drive and gave the big thumbs up to get it) and so we went inside to seal the deal. Dwight was AMAZING to work with. The whole process was very easy and his sense of humor and good conversation was an excellent bonus. We left with my daughter's new car in no time at all and are very happy. I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had on a dealer lot, and when we start looking for a new SUV for us, we will undoubtedly come back to Auburn VW and Dwight.

Don't bother purchasing a warranty item from their parts desk. They write up all warranties under a generic customer, and without a receipt, they will not honor their commitment to a 5 year warranty. You even have to give them the VIN in order to purchase the item. Even Autozone, Napa Auto Parts, etc. require a name to be on a warranty item. It is bad enough that you can never use a non VW Part on the car, to have to add 50% markup just because it is a genuine VW Part. Then they don't warranty the item? Best, to use a knock off, with a warranty. Hmm, couldn't they just look up the Generic customer and the data of purchase? Very dissatisfied. I will be just using AutoHausAZ.com, better prices, service, and of course a warranty.

Give these guys your business. They don't take advantage of the current car market as some other dealers do. They give fair prices on your trade in and purchase price. Michael in sales is great to work with and not at all pushy. Will be coming back for sure on my next purchase.
