Back in July I initiated the process for a VA IRRRL. Lucky for me, I got Melissa Wilks assigned as my Mortgage Loan Originator. Melissa presented everything in an upfront and professional manner. The Loan Processor assigned to my case was Lina Trau. She and Melissa worked hand in hand every step of the way to ensure my refi went smooth. It did. I think the thing I appreciated most was the speed of their responses to my inquiries along the way. It was generally within an hour of asking a question, or them acknowledging something I sent in to them. Despite these historically busy times for the mortgage industry, they were always right there. If you are out there scrolling through online reviews deciding whether to call Atlantic Mortgage, feel confident that when you pick up the phone and make the call that you will receive first class treatment especially if your case is assigned to these nice ladies. I am so happy that I made to leap to refi during this time when rates are at historic lows. I saved literally hundreds of dollars off of my monthly payment. Who can’t use that $$ bump especially during these financially challenged times! I am a real person just like you out there trying to check out these mortgage companies. hello everyone, i have done at least 10 to 14 refinance loans in my lifetime. Atlantic mortgage recently did a refinance loan for my wife and i, on our home. not only did i receive a 2.25 interest rate fixed, but the loan was the smoothest, fastest, and hassle free. all in about 40 days...thank you Lina Trau who was the loan processor, and Arron who was the initial person i started with. This company Atlantic mortgage funding was definitely the best i have ever encountered with..thank you Lina and Arron. they care!

We had been in our house less than two years and started receiving letters regarding escrow rebates, refinancing, and leveraging equity. All were recycled and forgotten until interest rates hit 2.25%. We contacted Atlantic Mortgage & Funding because Mr. S. I recently completed my VA Streamline with Atlantic Mortgage. If I could give these folks "10 Stars", I would. The process took approximately 14 days to complete. I was skeptical at first, going through this process solely online and by phone, but the professionalism and the immediate responses and action that Atlantic Mortgage has taken to ensure I was receiving the best service possible, quickly dispelled any hesitations I started with. Two gentlemen, Dodge Paras and Stephen Ryan, called every day, to ensure I was given the most up to date status of my loan application and answered any questions I had, without hesitation. Our recent experience with Atlantic Mortgage & Funding was excellent! This was my second time refinancing my VA home loan with a VA IRRL. The last time I refinanced I was able to go from a 3.725% to a 3.125% APR. This week, we closed our loan at an extremely rare 2.25% APR and that's on a jumbo loan. Our loan processor Melissa Wilks, once again was spectacular. She is customer focused, and prides herself in customer satisfaction. I have referred several Veterans, such as myself and everyone of them have nothing but high praise and high remarks! I refinanced my home with Atlantic Mortgage and Funding, Inc. during 08/2013 and worked with Kendra Gonzalez and Dodge Paras. They were very thorough ,prompt and very professional in their communication and made the refinance process very easy and stress free, they were always ready to answer any questions and offered alternatives when we encountered any issues with the application. I recently completed a refinance of my VA loan with Tony Young. He was amazing - he found a great mortgage product for me (and I shopped around to at least 5 other brokers) and he was incredibly responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the process. Very professional. The timeline he promised me came through and I closed on my new loan yesterday. Cannot give him a higher recommendation!

Some people might think of refinancing as a headache or a pain; but for me refinancing has become something I actually look forward to because of Stephen Ryan and Atlantic Mortgage. The process is so straight forward, and painless. Plus, Stephen always has my best interest at heart. He advises when we should or shouldn't lock in rates. Atlantic Mortgage ALWAYS has the lowest rates....nobody can beat them....I've used Altantic Mortgage for my last 4 refinances and nobody comes close. When I call other refinance companies, to compare offers, and tell them the rates I get from Atlantic, the reply is always "We can't match that, and you should lock in that rate....that's unheard of." I'm excited for the next time I get to refinance, because I know I will get the best customer experience, quality service, and the LOWEST RATES!!! Thanks guys!!!

Absolutely loved Atlantic Mortgage & Funding! Before I heard about Atlantic Mortgage, I tried few other mortgage companies and I was about to change my mind about the whole idea of buying a new home. All that changed when a coworker of mine told me about Atlantic Mortgage & Funding. Although it sounded too good to be true, I still decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I did. Stephen Ryan, company rep, was truly amazing. He was trustful, professional and knowledgeable. All I had to do is to give him a permission to pull my credit score. Within minutes we had a deal, with closing costs about $ 8K cheaper, no points, no games. Frances Wilburn was assigned as my loan officer. She made me feel like I was her family member. Scam mortgage lending services. Literally preying upon veterans. Would not recommend doing business with them, nor would I recommend doing business with anyone doing business with Atlantic Mortgage & Funding. Steer clear.

Steve Ryan at Atlantic Mortgage and Funding Inc. was excellent with helping me purchase my first home. He explained all of my options thoroughly in language that I could understand. Because of this I was able to confidently choose the best option for my family. The home buying process is a stressful situation and Steve was with me every step of the way. He called and checked up on me often and related with me through stories of his own home purchase. We had some issues with the sellers and the home we were purchasing fell into short sale changing the closing date and much more. Steve and his teammate Francis Wilburn were on top of it. They made sure that the paperwork was updated and that everything we’d agreed on would stay the same. I am very happy that I chose to work with Steve and Atlantic Mortgage. I will definitely use them again in the future if I need to and recommend you do the same.

Great experience with Atlantic Mortgage and Funding through the entire loan process! You always know where you stand, the communication is great. I have dealt with several other mortgage companies, I do not have enough good things to say about this crew. Even their title guy is fantastic and responsive... not to mention super handsome!
