They wanted to charge me five dollars to cash a check written by my friend who banks with them. Ridiculous I took my business elsewhere and I will not ever return to this business again. It would seem that if you’re not a member you are a lesser human being and deserve to be treated as such. I would think that they would treat me and non-customers better in an effort to get us to be customers anti-bank with him but apparently not.

Awful awful bank. I don’t think customer service is in their vocabulary. Due to the lack of knowledge, they have made my banking 100x more difficult than necessary. I have never had so many problems with a bank before. Not only tellers, the bankers, their customer service over the phone (besides a supervisor named Vicky), it’s every person in this bank. Unique Ross is one I know by name, she does not deserve to work in a bank or with people in general. DO NOT BANK HERE

When AZ businesses started to close due to the COVID19 pandemic, there was some concern that my husband was going to be out of work. I called AZ central to see what the options are for Skip Payments. I was advised I could complete one, then got a call back stating they had revoked it. Then, in order to grant the Skip, they wanted an in detail breakdown of my exact hardship because “they don’t want people to take advantage of them and their Skip Pay program”. Going through my inbox, these are just some of the offers from other companies. You know what I got from AZ Central? A condescending email about managing my savings account. Credit Union West - 3 Skip Payments, and they just renewed their Skips for ANOTHER 3, no questions asked. Hardship loans available as well. USAA - Payment deferments and waived late fees Wells Fargo - Payment deferments and hardship loans Chase - payment deferments and hardship loans Credit First - payment deferments and hardship loans I sincerely regret financing my loan with this company.

They closed my son's account and took all of his money. Yes, they stole a child's small savings from when he was a baby due to inactivity. Hildren usually dont have much activity because they are kids. They claim that they contacted me yet I never received anything. They never called, emailed, or sent a letter. Boycott these thieves who think it's appropriate to charge a $10 a month fee to a toddler and then close the account leaving a little boy with nothing!!! Update: I contacted them over the phone and they did determine that they were wrong in this situation. Yes they did send me a check for the monies that they took, however, I was treated like trash in their establishment and did not receive an apology from the staff members that errored in their job and treated me poorly. An apology costs them nothing.

The ATM didn't desperate my cash, the bank was absolutely no help except to say we aren't in control of the ATM we're sorry . B.S. should have known just by the look of the bank.

    Response from the owner

Hi Cynthia - We apologize for the frustration you experienced. We contract out ATM servicing, so the branch team was being truthful. If you were using another financial institution’s card, you should report the dispute immediately with them, and they will credit your account and process an adjustment with AZ Central. If you are a member of AZ Central Credit Union, please reach out to our Member Retention Officer at 602-523-8262 or [email protected] to discuss solutions.

I was pre approved to refinance my car February 1st and since then I’ve had no follow up. I was asked to send a email of certain documents which I did and for some reason nobody ever bothered to follow back up with me to tell me they’re not able to see the documents. I then followed right back up with the documents they needed and still no follow up. Joanna Pacheco was the one supposedly “helping” me. She told me she “handles things in which the order they came in”. I just called today after two weeks later and was sent to voicemail and the mailbox is full. I’m this close to closing my account that I’ve had for 3 years.

I have been a member of this credit union for 36 years. I recently joined USAA as they have some amazing benefits. I still did not want to transfer all of my banking to them because I have been with the credit union for so long. Last we the credit union showed me that they don't really have the same attachment to their long time customers as I had to them. Thank you for showing me that I don't matter and that my banking would be better taken somewhere else.

    Response from the owner

Our members are our first priority, and we are truly sorry to hear you do not feel valued. We are unable to discuss personal situations in a public forum, but we have spoken with you individually to address your concerns.

They did resolve a monthly scam that I was being charged for from the credit union itself. No major complaints. They pick-up the phone after a usual ten minute wait. Banker hours obviously. Nothing to praise, nothing to complain.

Don't use their ATMs their junk it's been broken for years now if you try to deposit money it will never go to your account that happened to me and I went inside to fill up a form so I can get a credit until they get the money it took about a week and I thought I will never get it I hade to call every single day they're terrible at communication as well.

    Response from the owner

Leonardo, we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced, our responsiveness to your failed deposit falls below our service standards. We are in the process of upgrading our ATM fleet to improve availability. If you’d like to discuss this situation further, please contact us at [email protected].
