America First Credit Union Pioneer Rd, Salt Lake City

I have been with America first credit union for years and this institution has incredible staff, the value theirs customers more than anything. I love the bank that put theirs customers first than there own. got clean enormity environments and serve customers very quick.

This is one of the most helpful branches in all of Utah, especially Brooke Watson she was so helpful went above and beyond and took all of my questions seriously. She was very helpful and very professional and AFCU should be very happy to have someone like her working for them. She was cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable, and I don't usually write reviews but she deserves recognition and she did a wonderful job!

The "employees" that work in this place are always angry. Went with my kids 3 days ago to ask about my loan payments. The woman at the counter raised her voice at me and said "shut up" cuz I "rushed her". Told her to not talk like that in front of my infants. If she wants to talk to people horribly, she should've been a corrections officer in a prison. Stay away from here unless you want to be yelled at.

This isnt for this store this is for all of AFCU. I payed off my motorcycle loan on 1/22/2021 and its currently the 8th of march and i still dont have my title. I called to ask about it and because my account was barily into the negative as of recent they say they wont send a lease release form until its payed. That bike has been fully payed off for over a month and theyre trying to keep it i recomend a new bank that knows how to properly send paperwork and wont try and rob you.

I love this America First branch. We have a business account here and they consistently provide great customer service. I have enjoyed my interactions with every single teller and even management. They are top notch!

I'd give less stars if i could. They did their best to make me feel like what i said didnt matter. Tried to use the drive through, was left waiting for more than 15 minutes. When someone finally shows up at the window she says the wait was because they are too busy and that I will have to wait longer. She goes away again. I wait about 5 more minutes, when nobody shows up I park and go inside. As soon as I pull out of the drive through she returns to the window and starts helping. I go inside, I find no customers at the counter, no tellers helping any customers and nobody in line. I ask to speak to a manager, they tell me none are present but an assistant is, he proceeds to act like nothing happened and like he didn't witness the entire interaction. He laughs when i tell him that the teller was playing with me. When I ask to withdraw my money and close my account he starts giving me this evil stank eye, glaring me down. I don't remember his name but he's the bald one. Awful service. I'll be banking elsewhere from now on. Avoid this branch and this entire bank if at all possible. Fair warning.

I walked in here one day and was treated with great disrespect. I had a question about my account and the tellers including the manager treated me like if I was a bad person. Stubby lady got perturbed and angry and then she growled at me because she didn't want to work. I recommend that everyone to go to another branch where they will give you a smile instead of a a growl.

A month ago they had friendly tellers,but me and my husband recently visited this credit union and they are rude and they look like they are in a bad mood,(bad service specially when they see you’re a minority).

I have to say i normally like going here super fast. But last time i was here I had a very upsetting experience. There was a guy there that I've never delt with before. I could tell he wasn't best at customer service, any ways I was depositing a $1,200 check from another bank(a surprise birthday present for my husband) I physical gave him one of my debit card so he new witch account to put the money in. (its an old account i dont use and my husband has no ties with, thinking it would be a perfect account to deposit the check tell the check cleared.) well later I went to use my America First app and its been down for about a week, so i have not been able to log in and look at any of my accounts to verify the $1,200 check. This morning I had my husband asking me why there was $1,200 in his account. They teller put the check in to the wrong account, ruining my husbands birthday surprise. I get every one messes up from time to time but when your dealing with peoples money, there is no excuse for miss handling it. I should have been more worried when I was at the window asking how long it would take for that check to clear. He had no idea. I have renters and deposit checks monthly and I'm always told about 3-5 business days, I wanted to double check cus it was a bigger check then normal , thinking maybe it could take longer. Hes like "you can get the money right now, or it could take up to a month, theirs really no way for us to really know". how do you not know,?! Isn't that part of the job. at the end he didnt ask if there was anything else he could help with or have a nice day, he just walked away from the window. I'm so upset that my husbands birthday was ruined cus of miss handling my money along with rude customer service, the second i get my loan paid off I;m closing my America First accounts (also had other bad experiences.)
