It was my first credit card. The person who followed up with my account was the best experience in customer service I have had to this day. They were extremely knowledgeable, and very respectful. Regardless of my background, age, and my knowledge gaps. This led to later in life attend a call from a recruiter from their firm. I answered the call in the middle of a vacation. Throughout my stance in the CLBO Acquisitions department I had the fortune to develop to be an Elite leader. I loved every bit of their culture and essence. I am such a picky person, and very short ended as I am extremely result driven. I hope you make the decision to join them, as they will assist in forging your future any way you allow them to. Every single meeting was about our customers and nothing else ever surpassed the level of quality compromise we had to deliver. The ones who train you are handpicked very carefully. I went through the entire process of getting a secured credit card, putting $2,000 deposit on it. Have had perfect credit all year. I was notified on December 1st I graduated and would get my deposit back in 1-3 business days. December 9th I still have no deposit, customer service told me information that contradicts their email on timeframe. Said 11 days, then when called out on it, they said 30 days. So I called customer service and was told there was an error and they have no answer on when the refund will be reissued, and they cannot credit my account the $2,000 until they fix the unknown error and reissue the refund. I was counting on having this money for Christmas, and it doesn’t seem so. I had no issues with Discover all year until it came time to refund my my $2,000 security deposit. Took them 12 hours to pull my deposit from my account when I applied it, and now that the money is to be refunded it has been lost with no real answers. Update, was told my deposit would be done on 12-9-21, but latest 12-14-21. Still NO deposit and told 12-22-21. So deadlines mean nothing to Discover. Update 1-4-22. I was emailed December 26, 2021 stating I would get a check by mail, 5-7 days. STILL NO CHECK! I was also told they could stop payment on said check and give me an ACH refund?? Why didn’t Discover offer that a month ago???? I declined because I did not want yet another Error in processing. So Again I graduated on November 28, 2021 and now January 4, 2022 and I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY REFUND! Discover Reps continue to give me BS excuses and move the goal post back but will not give me my money back. Discover also has made no offer at all to make up for the fact that they have entirely screwed up this payment. Nothing but excuses. If I wouldn’t be punished by closing a line of credit I would stop all business with Discover. I have 2 checking accounts, a savings account and a line of credit. I have done everything right and they have withheld, lost or stolen my $2,000.00. This by far has been the worst experience with any credit of banking service in my entire life. Update 1/6/2022 STILL NO REFUND AND MORE MISSED DEADLINES AND NOT A WORRY AT ALL FROM DISCOVER CARD.

So, this company is full of thieves. My sister had ended her employment for this company & they never sent her a box and her return label to send back her equipment from working from home so they withheld her last paycheck (okay fine, that’s usually how it works) well, today they had taken $500 from her bank account and that was her paycheck from a whole different job, that money had nothing to do with Discover. That is ILLEGAL, you cannot do that and we will be getting an attorney as well as reporting this to the BBB, we also filed a dispute as fraud through the bank. Such a shady company to be associated with. You guys are horrible people and believe that she will get that $500 back and you will owe even more from the lawsuit that we are filing.

The new Discover building and campus is incredible! The building itself opens up to a beautiful lake/pond on the west side, complete with a walking route and plenty of seats. The building itself contains a gym, cafeteria, and plenty of activities for workers and visitors. While the campus is mostly closed at the moment due to the Covid-19, the grounds remain immaculate and very well kept. I absolutely love the company culture as a current employee and respect the value they show to their workforce! 10/10

I reported a fraudulent charge to their Fraud Dept. from an Online Service Scammer for Redlight Camera Tickets in California. While I only agreed to a one time $99 charge for nothing but preparing the documents to challenge the mailed ticket which I still have to mail in myself & prepay all penalty fee as directed. I never agreed to any other charges and certainly did not agree to a monthly renewal charges specially when I was just trying out their service the first time. For those who are curios their Mailed in Defense did not work. Eventually, the pre paid penalty was taken by the Traffic Court. So, why will I want to continue a membership fee? Discover Fraud Deparment without giving me proof that I authorized the charges, claim that they are legitimate charges & reversed all the unauthorized charges. Not ONLY DID DISCOVER FRAUD allowed SCAM CHARGES which is a FALSE ADVERTISEMENT that Fraud/Unauthorized charges will not be cardholders responsibility. The worst things is they Kept the GET DISMISSED dot COM in my auto renew charge schedule although I already clearly did not want these SCAMMERS service in the first report. Now, 11feb22, I am on hold and being bounced from one Support to another. THIS IS A SHAMELESS CREDIT CARD COMPANY!

Very good credit card. They're modern, they're streamlined, and all the little things they take the time and energy to do add up to a great experience for the customer.

I would just like to start out by thanking everyone that has made this journey possible, my parents, Jorie, Jill, and the whole crew. So, I’ve worked here for a few years, and I just think that this place is excellent. Now, more than ever, since I’m working at home and I would like to go back to this place each day for a few hours. Once they had a hot water machine but it kept breaking and my buddy was like hey you should figure out how to fix it but I was like haha idk how to do that so we looked up the manual to diagnose it but we couldn’t figure it out, and eventually the hot water machine was taken away #SAD Also there’s a lake nearby that is full of Canada geese and American Coots, which look like little monster birds, and the people that work here are pretty cool, too. Watch out where you park, too, since sometimes after a heavy rain there are parts of the parking lot that have like water, so if you step in them you will get your feet wet and just like ew.

Worst experience with a bank ever. They don't even understand their own forms. I had to have a document notarized 3 times because they didn't understand it enough to explain what they were asking for. That at a time when no other banks are asking for notarized forms because of Covid. I've been trying to withdraw funds for nearly 2 months. I sent in new revised paperwork several times and it's wrong but they never call back to tell you there is an issue and they can't explain the right way to fill it out. Trust me Synchrony is the way to go for internet banking, not Discover.

I work here and I am beyond ecstatic that I do. They treat their employees so much better than anywhere else I have worked. Great benefits (which start on day one!) on site cafeteria and gym and so many other great benefits! If you are thinking of applying, do not hesitate.

I was honestly excited to work for them, I applied for 5 different positions and got a call for 1. Was told they’ll get back with me turns out I didn’t qualify but what about the other 4 I applied for ?? I even called them and texted to check on my interview and no one got back to me the hiring department is very disrespectful they treat future employees like they are not good enough to work there. I know what I bring to the table and I’m going to take it somewhere els.
