Affinity Federal Credit Union US, Hillsborough Township

This credit union has literally saved me thousands of dollars over the years. They refinance my debt at the lowest rate I could find anywhere and got me debt-free. They saved me thousands of dollars on 2 different cars. They helped me build up a solid savings. I only have experience with Affinity and other mainstream banks like Chase or Bank of America, compared to those two this place is light-years better. Only ever had good experiences.

Love the service and the way bank treats its customers. specially if you are new to banking in NJ. they offer the best interest rates & other offers. i have multiple accounts but i use affinity as my primary for last 3+ yrs and extremely satisfied with the services. i usually prefer visiting this branch in Hillsborough for all my needs and the people here are really helpful. i am going to be a member for life

The staff is very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. My only gripe is I enjoy the freedom to make deposits any time of the day. The ATM (in the vestibule) seems ancient and has been in need of a major update for years now. Most of my deposits are made after hours. 50% of those deposits cannot be completed because the ATM is down for one reason or another.

I have been an Affinity member since last 20 years. I used to love the 5-star service and respect that I received in the past. But lately the service has gone downhill. Affinity Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit institution, so members should always come first, but lately they have been charging surprise fees by raising minimums, so it's no longer feels not-for-profit. They have tons of goodies at this store location and they say they need to raise fees to cover costs, so something doesn't feel right. A bunch of fees were tacked on to my account. When I questioned, one of the reps gave me a blunt answer, we can raise fees as the business needs. Thankfully, I could talk to a different rep, who gave me a better reasoning and took my feedback. I don't know how long I will continue here.

Switched here from TD and love it. Jess is extremely helpful and can answer questions about any kind of loan and or account!

Avoid this Bank they use predatory behavior rip you off with fees do not get an account with them do not open up a car loan they’re overdraft fees and how they work is disgusting not giving any time to fix your account they prey on the poor and take advantage of you if you open up a car loan with them they will not say anything to you in months down the road they will add a $2000 insurance onto your car payment and raise your car payments this is disgusting and predatory behavior there are much better banks to go to like PNC or chase who treat their customers with respect and dignity and give them time to fix their accounts giving someone no time to fix a negative account is terrible and it’s predatory behavior on the poor stay far away from this bank there is no benefit it will only hurt you and put you into debt

Branch is one of the better ones but they need 10 more people to work the floor and help on Saturday. I’ve been in lines there for about 30-40 minutes because it gets so busy. I have a mortgage through them as well, give them another two-three years and let the iron out all the kinks and train more staff.

Slooooowwww! I understand that I have to wait longer on a Saturday - 25 min. Okay. But why does it take over an hour to open two kids accounts??? Doesn’t make sense ....
