Been with Advantis since 1979. I've had many situations when I needed a sympathetic financial institution. Advantis rose to my needs every time! Not maybe in the way I thought, but worked out better for me. You don't get that at a traditional institution. I feel I have been shepherded along from a terrible credit score to now it is excellent. Very proud. Advantis is for you! Not profits.

I don’t think I’ve ever said “I love my bank!!!” until I opened my account with Advantis. Great perks, amazing service, convenient location. They’re the best!

This credit union is predatory. Close your account immediately and take your business elsewhere. I mistakenly transferred a sum of money to the wrong account before going on holiday, returning to see my account balance south of !!!-600$!!! $375 of which were NSF fees. Advantis had simply allowed me to continue using my card in another country and wrack up fees without a notification of any kind. I phoned them immediately and explained what had happened and was promptly stonewalled - they refused to budge, insisting I pay the amount in full. I escalated the situation several times (each step of the way being pressured to transfer money despite stating I would do no such thing until I could negotiate the situation repeatedly) until I was speaking with loss prevention. The woman on the phone was horrible to me, asserting that the bank had no responsibility to help manage my account and that negotiation was impossible because of Advantis' contract with Onpoint. She then started to effectively call me entitled for trying to get out of these fees and saying Advantis had already gone above and beyond to try and help me. I hung up the phone. I contacted Onpoint only to find that there exists no arrangement between Onpoint and Advantis whatsoever. I then went to the branch in person only to find that Advantis had immediately put my account into the hands of loss prevention without any attempt to contact me and there was nothing at all the bank itself could do anymore: instead of trying to work with a long time customer they immediately thrust my account into what is effectively collections. Thank the lord I have accounts in other banks, otherwise they would be holding my ability to bank hostage with this predatory practice, my only recourse to contact a team of debt collectors willing to lie to bully me into paying. I am at a loss of what to do. Close your account immediately. Advantis is a predatory business which will not hesitate to exploit you the moment they get a chance.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Been trying to pay off a loan for over a month, instead they give the run around and have a non existent "manager" named Stephanie who never responds. Considering getting a lawyer because they won't allow us to pay off the loan without paying an additional $500 for insurance that covers 9 months AFTER the loan is paid off (because again, trying to pay it off today and everyday for the last month) for a car that has been sitting for two years and is going to scrap.

These folks are the best!! I was working with Marissa and Diana at the Portland location. I was very pleased with their service. I highly recommend this credit union.

I can't believe this fraudulent company is still in business. The Better Business Burough should investigate the gross amount of extortion and shut this pathetic excuse of a business down.

Always friendly, helpful and I've had every question or concern addressed promptly with a smile. The people working here look and act like they love their jobs and were trained to be knowledgeable and able to take care of each customer as an individual. I wish I had started banking here long ago.

When I initially opened an account at Advantis, I was put off by their inability to show a current account balance. Its not so bad. They are a good bank with friendly people. I enjoy going in there. The nice thing about them is they don't play the same games as US Bank or some of the other profit hungry animals. The people who work at Advantis are genuinely nice people. I was thrilled when I left US Bank. I advise everyone else to do the same.
