Basutely do not use these people. They will do everything for you and seem so nice and then deny that they know who you are or that they have cashed or deposited your checks when someone else is around. Honestly these people are horrible and if they change their standards day to day then they aren reliable. Theres a special place in hell for these people.

I love the team at Academy Bank. They are so nice to everyone, and they will use your name, when they remember who you are. I highly recommend this bank to my family and friends.

Walked into an Academy Bank in a Walmart to inquire about a notary. The representative asked if I was a customer. When I told her no, she said they only notarize for customers. Seems like that’s a really good way to assure that I will NEVER be a customer. By the way, two people working, one browsing on her computer, no other customers. I hope I got out-of-the-way quick enough for all the rush of customers coming into the bank 😂😂

Used to be a good bank. Now with their new checking account system, you have to take the one that charges you a monthly fee. If you take the simple one, you only get 12 debit card uses or direct deposit. If you go over they charge you the same amount as the accounts with the monthly fee. Huh?!

The absolute WORST and MOST UNPROFESSIONAL JOKE of a bank to deal with. I’m not sure what I expected anyway but Its hard to believe they’re still in business. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I had an inactive account there in which I physically went to them to close it and a few months later they said I owed fees for inactivity, so I had to pay $100 in JUST FEES for an inactive account THAT I CLOSED. All they could say was “whoever closed your account failed to follow through with the closer and did not click submit.” Coming from a person who worked in banking for years, Academy Bank is absolutely TERRIBLE, DO NOT give them your service, you will regret it as did I.

The people that work at this bank are exceptional kind extremely willing to help they make you feel like they really care about what they do for you I really enjoy this branch because of the people that work here Bailey and Trey and they really do an amazing job with a smile and I think they’re fantastic

Trey and heather and the staff at this location are amazing and genuinely care about how your doing they are efficient and go above and beyond to take care of of me even when I have all three of my kids with me which can get frustrating at times they always do and amazing job and have really helped me for the last 3 + years

I love them all. They know me and always ask about my daughter. They always know what day I come in on and what I need done. They are very friendly and helpful

The people at the branch are great, unlike some of the rude hateful people you speak to when you have to call in for customer service. This is a good bank if you can't get an account elsewhere. They gave me a second chance which I appreciate since I messed up my other accounts, but I moved on to another bank now that my credit is back in shape because I got tired of having to call them repeatedly to get problems fixed which should've been fixed without me asking (problems resulting from them losing a deposit, for example). I also got tired of them trying to sell me something every time I made a deposit, and I got tired of them nickel and diming me with fees for things which should be free (like automatically transferring money from savings to checking when needed). Basically, I just got tired of company policies which send the message that they really don't care whether I keep my money there or not.....so... I moved my money elsewhere. Update: It took several tries to successfully close my accounts. I was repeated told my accounts were marked for deletion and would be deleted at midnight. This turned out to be untrue. Customer service reps are rated on how many accounts they "save" from being closed, so I believe some of them will tell you they've closed your account but then actually leave it open to keep their numbers looking good. Such behavior is par for the course with this company. I have never dealt with - or heard of - such an irresponsible financial instituion.

Very polite people friendly helpful. Very easy to talk to. Real easy to get things done and in a timely manner.
