    Honestly, do not buy a vehicles from here. Though the sales people are super nice, the quality of vehicle isn't. I made the unfortunate mistake of buying a truck for work from them and it spends more time in my driveway getting repaired then it does anything else. For the amount of money that I have put into trying to keep it running I definitely could have went somewhere else and gotten a better vehicle. Biggest 9k dollar mistake I have ever made.

    came in a month ago and was told i need a paystub that had 20 or more hours to be approved. came in today with 3 paystubs over 20 hours and got told it was not enough. Just can’t really take their word when they say something. Kasie is awesome though, did everything she could to help.

    They're asking way too much money for junk vehicles. Car had to be returned because of to many mechanical issues and was just out the money. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle here

    Terrible service and vehicle quality. They sold us a car with faulty rims that leaked air and it was like pulling teeth to finally get them replaced and instantly started have computer issues with the car wanting to accelerate and 3 months later the ac and heat stop working . Getting them to answer the phone is damn near impossible so we just cut our losses and stopped driving the car so now it just sits in the drive way. We're 1 month from paying off this peice of garbage. Had way better luck with JD byrider. Please go somewhere else. It'll save you so much trouble.

    This was truly the best buying experience I have ever had. The lady who runs it was working on a Friday night by herself and she was amazing. I have never bought a car from a car lot before but I will go there without question every time I need a vehicle and would recommend them to everyone, she even stayed way past closing time just to help us! I give them TEN stars!

    Hello to everyone out there I want to tell you my experience with carhop. Let me start with this is my 3rd time going through them. The staffer is super nice and will try anything they can do to get you in a car you want. The 1st time I went through carhop I had no credit got approved and drove off the lot that day with a car. The 2nd I went through them my credit was good looked at a couple cars got approved and again drove off the lot that day with a car. This last time my credit is not good still walked in they helped me with everything and walked out with another car. I will say this you don’t have to have a lot of money for a down payment. When I get this car I have paid off I will be going back for a 4th time. I hope this helps anyone out there who doesn’t have a lot of money or doesn’t have credit or even bad credit they will help you. I hope this helps anyone and have a wonderful day.

    My husband and I thought we were going to get denied once again but we were able to get approved. Diane and the associates were friendly and so helpful.     Been with carhop since February our engine started knocking and we're out of our warranty but they still have made arrangements to pick the car up and tow it to their shop they definitely work with you and try their best to keep your driving. Even if I had to put another down payment on something Id still be satisfied.

    Such an amazing place! They were able to get me my first car in a pinch and we're so great to work with I went back for my second car. I upgraded to a 2016 ford fusion!     Me and my fiancé lost our house and our car due to testing positive with covid back in July. We’re young and just starting our lives and our credit is horrible. We hadn’t had any luck with any other lots with cars and we happened to stumble upon CarHop! The 2 ladies that were working, they were super friendly and helped us leave in a very good car!     Went to four other places. Just totaled my car and had no transportation. Only a hundred. They said yes! They were very friendly and got me in a car that’s better than the one I had. I would most definitely recommend them. I came in no car walked out with one. No credit barley any down payment.

    Worst place you can possibly go to. I swear, this place is ran by a bunch of toddlers that just like shiny toys! So if you're into that kind of thing - buying a hot wheel from a small child. Or even better, having your car repaired by a group of small children - This is the best place for you. Like literally anywhere else would be better than this place.

    I've purchased 3 vehicles from CarHop. That said it's not necessarily because you get good cars from them, but simply out of necessity. Ryan is very customer service oriented and wants to make sure you are taken care of, which I truly appreciate. The ladies that work there tend to talk down to you if you ask to many questions or if you complain about all of the repair work you have to pay for. They are condescending and they don't treat me like a customer. I've not missed a payment and I've had my car in the shop 5 different times since I bought it 8 months ago. I don't make a lot of money, so the vehicles I qualify for are usually in need of a lot of repairs, but no diagnostic report is given to you at the time of purchase. When you are told the tires, batteries and windshields, etc. are new, they mean used or refurbished. Nothing is ever new, so keep that in mind when buying a car from CarHop. The payments are good.

    These ladies are SUPER helpful. I came in here yesterday and got approved. I told them I wanted a Dodge Caliber sense I was a a freshman in college and I love hatch backs. The next day, I got into a BEAUTIFUL Caliber and I absolutely love it! CarHop is the best place to go through! I would recommend them to anyone!!

    No stars actually. We were in Springfield due to family having surgery. We live a ways away, and our car broke down...stranded. I filled out application on line and they called. I told them our situation over the phone. The lady told us to come on by. We got there at 515, they close at 6. We were turned away because they didn't have time. Told us to come back tomorrow. **Seriously?? 20 minutes ago she told us to come in knowing the situation**. They missed out on a guaranteed sale, we took our business elsewhere

    The sales people were friendly but they lied to me about the condition of the car then after I signed the papers I found out motor mounts were bad but that wasn't covered by their warranty even tho the mounts were bad BEFORE I bought the car...

    For the first year payments were taken out on the agreed day. Then they started coming out 3-5 days after which started causing missed payments because of other auto payments coming out before hand. I started getting calls from carhop demanding payment or they were going to take my car. They stated it was my bank not releasing payment which I got a print out of the payment request showing the dates carhop requested payments showing it was carhop not sending the request on time. They repo’d my car and left me stranded the day before my payments were to come out directly from my payroll check so they would get them on time every time. Plus the payments were going to be more than contracted original payment was 171.00 and I had it set up for 200.00 instead but they still took my car! Watch your account when dealing with them. I loved my car and had no issues with the car just the way they treated me and the signed agreement they did not follow

    Never needed to finance a car before. my old Fiesta broke down and I needed something quick and asap. Ashley really helped out and worked with us to get into something same day.     Wow! Saw a car we liked on the lot, went in and salesperson didn’t even greet me, but proceeded to tell me how there was a very slim chance I could qualify for the car I wanted. Mind you she knew NOTHING about me at this point, not even my name. Said that very few people that came in would qualify for that car. Well we filled out the paperwork anyway, now 2 1/2 weeks later we haven’t even been contacted back. Stopped in today as the car is still sitting there. Doors were locked, said back in an hour. Came back and doors still locked, several people waiting and staff was coming in and out another door but no one would unlock the door, or even address waiting customers (this is a Saturday afternoon). Finally left and tried to call instead. No one would answer, and no opportunity to leave voicemail. Seriously some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

    The staff was amazing, 2 people juggled between multiple (6-8 in store plus phone calls) customers timely and flawlessly all while staying good mannered and fun. They went above and beyond what I had expected to get me driving a vehicle and always made sure I knew what point in the process we were, while managing the other customers and keeping them up to date. Vehicle is amazing, super clean, priced well, and the financing is affordable.     Not a place I will ever take my money to or send anyone to. They try to pick your car out for you and it was the 2 worst ones on the lot. I came to carmart and literally picked whatever I wanted off the lot and the payments were affordable!!!! Carhop has poor salesmanship and the manager in Joplin was the worst.

    I just got my new car yesterday. I was very nervous. It's been a nightmare trying to get my new car. I'm someone who's very cautious about not going beyond my means. And I try to own outright. I've never dealt with a dealership before. But, my Toyota Camry was dying and I had no time to save a down payment. And other dealerships would approve me but want a huge down payment. It was very stressful. I didn't know what to expect at Carhop. I was honestly expecting more of the same. So, I was already discouraged and trying not to get my hopes up. But, Diane made it quick and painless. $100 down. I don't have to have full coverage insurance. So that is helpful. That was my other concern. Insurance is so high as is. I got an awesome car. It drives like a dream. I'm very happy. And I'm so proud of it! I no longer have the ugly car in the driveway at my apartment building! Thank you, Carhop and Diane!!

    Bought a vehicle from them a little over a year ago and the torque converter is shuttering, after the mechanic gave them a estimate to replace transmission they denied it and was told to just maintenence it. By replacing transmission and adding a shutter stop additive to it. So far my experience with the warranty is to duct tape it tell its out of warranty. Wouldn't recommend. They will say the warranty is hassle free tell you have to use it. I figured it would be like this just hoped I was wrong. Update After fighting with them about me paying for a transmission flush and adding shutter stop to it they paid for it. Still had the same problem so they got a used transmission and sent it to the transmission shop to replace it. Took an extra 2 week on top of the month it had been in the shop. Comes back and the power steering was leaking like crazy after driving for 2 days. I thought maybe the shop messed up but after inspecting it, the power steering return line is completely rusted out. This is all within owning the vehicle about a year and 2 months. I've I've had to replace the battery, alternator, brakes and rotors. I wouldn't recommend buying from these guys for anything. Find another place and check for rust. When I was looking at the line the whole undercarriage is rusted.

    My experience here really surprised me. I'd been looking all over town for a car. My only option was to finance something. I've done some substantial damage to my credit. I began expecting denial and down payments that far exceeded my ability and had nearly given up hope. Diane was honest, helpful and very intuitive throughout the entire process. I felt as if she really heard what I said about my situation and about what type of car would suit me. She was never pushy yet maintained contact with me to let me know she was willing to work with me. No other dealership followed up, not even once, and I went to several. I probably wouldn't be driving today without her help. Her friendly and professional tenacity got me in a car I really enjoy at a price I can afford. The rest of the staff, while my contact with them was minimal, were also very helpful. Ryan was able to communicate with me about my questions when Diane was busy and I appreciate the team mentality they possess. I'd gladly recommend Car Hop in Springfield to anyone in a similar situation. I feel like Diane helped a miracle happen. I'm so grateful! Thanks!!!

    This business location seemed great at first. They turned out to be not as honest as we thought they were. Definitely took advantage of us and our single family. Our car was sold to us three times it's value. Lately we've been having so many issues it shouldn't of had. We were told it was in great condition but everything was temporarily fixed. The transmission has gone out, battery, motor mounts, etc. We've dished out thousand's of dollar's in just the few months we've had this car. I'd look into anywhere else.

I can come up with whatever for a down payment, but I refuse to put $1500 down on a truck with four mis matching tires and one was so dry rotted their is absolutely no way you pass inspection on that. She claimed she takes it to three different place? The service was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I have never had someone talk to me that way. I tell my score and my credit history is about 95% and basically get called a liar. I was so disgusted I kindly said no thank you, I don’t appreciate how you talked to me. I walked out. You are there to sell me a car not be disrespectful. I’ll never go back. It was a waste of my time as a customer! If I could give 0 stars I would!
