AAA Gun & Pawn Shop Reviews

Very knowledgeable staff and owner that an experienced gun owner can appreciate. Numerous firearms, many older and a large selection of newer. It is like walking into a museum and worth the trip just to look around if nothing else.

The staff here is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. A lady came in looking to buy a gun for herself and they were so nice with her but she then returned with her HUSBAND since he knew more and what they were looking at they automatically refused service and kicked them out immediately. Staff continued to use vulgar language when addressing it. They were highly unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend shopping here. Many other places that will gladly help you.

Bought a rare milsurp from them. The store has a lot of inventory. I had a decent experience with two of the salespeople, but one of them knocked my weapon onto the ground when I was filling out the paperwork. He didn't apologize, didn't seem concerned, and the store didn't bring my price down. I was price gouged because "the price on the tag hasn't been updated in a while". They raised the price on an $800 weapon to $1,200. Poor customer service and extremely high prices ruined the experience for me.

Work some overtime to shop here, and ill back up the previous reviews about rude staff. If my business is not appreciated, theres lots of other sole proprietors that welcome us with a smile and respect. Overpriced ammo, overpriced firearms, rude and dismissive staff.. Save yourself the headache and shop where youre business is appreciated and they treat others with the respect deserving of choosing them to shop with. With a saturated market, not hard to find better places to support.

A little on the expensive side, but a great selection of guns. Friendly and helpful staff.

Price gouging on everything. They had a used in ehhh condition 1100 trap barrel that was marked $250. A new one sells for that price. When I asked what their best price was the guy said "with the current market we don't lower our prices". Do they think people are looking for trap barrels for the post-covid / election zombie apocalypse? I also asked about a way overpriced Browning A5 and got the same response. Ammo was also absurdly priced on stock that had obviously been sitting around way before the current shortages ... Last time I'm visiting ...

TRUE STORY! I went into purchase an inexpensive 20 gauge shotgun for duck hunting. First, they had two identical guns one marked as used for $279 and another marked as new/box for $259. Secondly, the one marked as new had obvious signs of use. Here comes the best part (keep in mind that I verified that Academy Sports had the same exact gun on sale for $188) when I asked if they were willing to come down on the price, the associate looked at the tag and sternly said "no". I then informed him about Academy Sports, he then looked at me liked I had two heads and stated and I quote "OK, Thanks" I was completely taken back, I was willing to pay $200-220 just to save a trip to Academy Sports and support a local business. Not sure what their business model is but not what I expected from a pawn shop! Now my mother always taught me to say something nice and this is why I gave them two stars and the fact they have an impressive inventory that they obviously want to keep! Merry Christmas Everyone and Happy Safe Shopping!

HUGE selection of firearms here, but everything is WAY overpriced. I go here to look at what I want and then go online and buy it for hundreds of dollars less. Ammo is also overpriced; Bass Pro is fully in stock and half the price of AAA. These guys really tried to gouge during the shortage, and it reflects badly on them. Customer service is hit or miss. Finally, don't do an FFL transfer here, Steel Fox firearms is just around the corner, and they only charge $20 for a transfer and they are so much faster than AAA.

I will start by saying these people need a reality check. With the economy being where it’s at they should value the little busses they get. With that said I’ve always purchased my firearms here and accessories I’ve even used them as an FFL. I will never ever ever recommend this place again. After recommending a family member and being on the phone with him so that he could purchase a Anderson lower for his first AR build. They accused him of committing an illegal act with out any context or evidence and once he realized he was wrong he still didn’t even apologize. He continued to give a hostile attitude. If you want a friendly FFL go to fat firearms. They may charge a little cause they are a smaller dealer, but I promise you will be treated fair.

They have an incredible inventory of guns of every type. During the scamdemic and the supply shortage, they had plentiful stock of ammo. It's always busy there, but the employees are still helpful. The prices are competitive, and I always find what I'm looking for. When you go there for the first time, take some time to browse. They have a lot of good stuff there.

Eclectic array of items from guns, jewelry, tools, music, etc. The vintage gun displays are amazing! I've seen some negative reviews regarding the staff but we enjoyed a nice, long, pleasant conversation with Mr. Bell (owner). I don't think people understand his sense of humor. He is a business man too.

Has a lot of rifles and some pistols and ammo, but I will never shop there again. The prices are WAY inflated. The owner is rude, responded with profanity and refused to sell me an item after I asked 2 questions about it. Also refused to handle a firearm transfer, after I already purchased it and it was being shipped. Definitely not professional or way to treat a customer.

Don't even think about buying from this store. Every item at least $200-$300 over cost. Go on Gunbroker instead. Definately do not sell to them, offer 30% of your items worth.

Huge selection of firearms. Fair pricing and extremely friendly staff. I’ve bought from them twice and my experience was great both times.

Don't buy ammo from rip off artists who overcharge on old ammo inventory. They are straight up lying if there saying they are getting charged more from the manufacturer. All they are doing his gouging and taking advantage of the situation. So if you need and your willing to get ripped off by all means buy from these people.
