Zions Bank West Valley City Financial Center Reviews

Girls here are very stuck up, don't even greet you. No smile, not a peep from them. We understand we hate working but I don't think outside peeps have to deal with your bad days or humor. Second they don't even count the cash back when you withdrawal or cash a check. If you are unhappy here then find a different job. Sucks that my paycheck can only be cashed at Zions as the company banks with them. Rather pay the 10$ fee at Check City. At least they are polite

My girlfriend banks here, and they are effectively criminal. They will move money without the user's consent and make false transactions, or double-charge in order to double down on things like overdraft fees or insufficient-funds transactions. They do not provide alerts or notifications for what they're doing, and count on people not paying daily attention to their accounts. Do not bank here. These people are thieves.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TODAY WITH THIS BRANCH, I WAS THERE TO EXCHANGE PESOS FOR DOLLARS AND ALSO TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT..MY MOM IS A 80 YEAR OLD LADY SHE ASK TO USE THE BATHROOM AND ONE OF THE GIRLS WAS YELLING AT US!! SHE SAID ONLY EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS CAN USE THE BATHROOM. I SAID I AM A CUSTOMER MY MOTHER NEEDS TO USE THE BATHROOM WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT!! SHE WAS SUPER RUDE SHE EVEN COME OUT OF HER DESK TO CONTINUE ARGUE WITH ME!! THE MANAGER SAW THE WHOLE THING AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN CONTROL HER EMPLOYEE...THIS IS A VERY SAD SITUATION BEING TREATING LIKE THIS WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR RESPECT FOR US... NOW I WILL NEVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH YOU ZIONS. HOW CAN THE EMPLOYEES TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND THE MANAGER DID NOTHING ABOUT IT....I HAVE MANY BUSINESSES AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR BANK AFTER TREATING US LIKE THAT OBVIOUSLY THIS GIRL WHO HAD NO MANNERS AND RESPECT CAN'T WORK WITH CUSTOMERS!!

My local branch ceased all services on Saturdays, so I am forced to use this one. I got in the drive thru line at approx 1 pm. There was a car in each lane in front of me. By 1:30 pm the line had not moved at all. I called the branch number to ask if there was an issue. The girl who answered the phone very rudely told me "they were busy, and if I didnt like it, I could come inside." I hung up on her. I had no other option but to continue wait as there was no way to exit the double line, as there were numerous cars behind me. By the time my transaction was completed and I had cash in hand, it was 2:08 pm. They didn't even serve the cars behind me, that had also been waiting a very long time. Just turned on the closed sign. What ever happened to customer service?? Sad. Zions you can do so much better, I just know it.

The only reason I am giving one star is because the teller who initially greeted and helped us was very polite. After he introduced us to the branch manager however, the customer service went out the window. Walter informed us that they would not provide notary services unless we had an account with them. He said it was a potential liability because they would not have our information accessible in their system. I said, "Really? Because when I recently visited one of your locations in South Jordan, they didn't have any problem notarizing something for me." He then repeated that they couldn't do it, as it could be a liability. So I went down the street to the America First inside Harmons. I do not have an account there, but was still able to get my document notarized, for free. News flash, Walter: you don't need to pull up anyone's information when notarizing a document. All they need to provide you with is a government issued I.D. Also, if you are trying to meet your quota for new accounts, you may want to consider actually offering services to people, not denying them. I know that I am absolutely NOT motivated to open an account with Zions Bank after this experience.

Wish never went inside. Get ready to feel like an inconvenience. 4 people chit chatting. The two girls turn to their counters no one said anything I said I need to make a deposit & a 60-day statement from my account. She only printed out 30 days & handed it to me. I looked at it and said I asked for 60 she huffed and said it's $5 then printed it out. I said thank you, no response.

I have been going to this bank for over a year now to get a cash advance. I went to do so this. When I did they said my card declined. I went into my app to show them that the money was on there and they took my money off my card. They said they didn't and when I called my card they said that Zions was holding my funds. When I spoke with the branch manager she was never willing to help me and gave me no solution. My bank insisted that Zions took out the money. I will never go here again and will never recommend them to anyone. Do not go here! I wouldn't even give them a star but I have to for the purpose of submitting the review

Terrible bank! My husband never used his checking and he received overdraft fees on the monthly service fees. He went in, paid the fees and closed the account. Zions didn’t do their job, they’re still stating that he owes the fees (which have been paid for a year and a half) they’ve been reporting to the credit bureaus about this as well. We have been contacting corporate and they can’t even see the account because it’s closed. How can they close an account with the fees still owed? We’re reporting to the Federal Reserve since Zion won’t own up to their mistake.

I sat in the drive through waiting 15 minutes for my check to be cashed. When I pressed the call button the older Hispanic woman came back to rudely tell me "you just need to wait okay!" Someone came back 10 minutes later a younger Hispanic girl with long straight hair to tell me that my check couldn't be cashed but couldn't tell me why. They told me they had to verify the check. I called my payroll department on my way to another branch. They cashed the check without hesitation. When the payroll manager called in they told him they had no idea why the women wouldn't cash the check. Horrible experience. Zions should be ashamed to provide that kind of service.

Absolutely worst branch I have ever visited. Horrible customer service rude staff that ignores all the customers and treats them as of they are an inconvenience by banking here. Zions should be ashamed for allowing their patrons to be treated this way
