We appreciate your feedback. Fraud and disputes that are not fraud are governed by Regulation E and very specific rules and requirements. Not only within Credit Union policy requirements but also card processors, Visa, and the merchants themselves. Any time there is a question regarding transactions it must follow the same procedures for compliance and contractual purposes. These rules are in place to protect not just the member but also all parties involved for timely and accurate resolutions of issues. Whenever something is not considered fraud it is for a variety of reasons located within the transaction data or responses from the member themselves as to the state of the card. Any issues with disputes or resolutions if not provided directly to the member are providing in writing with an explanation of decision or further steps to be taken. These further steps can include attempting to contact the merchant to resolve the issue, signing an affidavit attesting to statements made/resolution attempts/or fraud claims, etc. Any further questions please feel free to reach out to the branch directly.

We're sorry you feel that way. We take great pride in our fees being among the lowest out of even credit unions. Our rates being some of the lowest even among credit unions. Approving credit that is outside the box that other places have turned down. That doesn't change regulations and requirements including escheat rules, overdraft rules, account ownership and titling rules, etc. There are hundreds of thousands of pages that dictate how financial institutions do business which includes how and when fees get charged equally as well as when refunds fit the guidelines for fair and equal treatment. It also does not change the time employees spend on items or the costs the credit union incurs for processing items such as debit card replacements cost an average of $30 per card, per time they are replaced. Without having income to pay for services credit unions wouldn't exist. So it's not in name only but credit unions don't get a free pass on their expenses or regulatory compliance requirements. We just attempt to keep them as low as we can for the membership.

Any ATM related issues would need to be addressed with PSECU as they service and maintain the machine. We have no access to anything related to it including transactions, captured cards, or denied transactions.
